Abstract

Kerusakan lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh prilaku manusia kian hari kian mencemaskan. Kerusakan lingkungan telah menimbulkan banyak bencana alam, salah satunya adalah banjir. Lembaga pendidikan, utama mulai sejak dini, perlu menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan sejak dini. Artikel ini membahas tentang pentingnya menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan sejak dini melalui metode pembelajaran, terutama yang berkaitan dengan tema lingkunganku.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan, utama mulai sejak dini, perlu menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan sejak dini. Artikel ini membahas tentang pentingnya menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan sejak dini melalui metode pembelajaran, terutama yang berkaitan dengan tema lingkunganku.

Abstract

This research investigates the implementation of a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)-based learning approach at AZ Zahra NU Salaman Magelang Kindergarten, aiming to enhance early childhood literacy in reading, writing, and arithmetic. Employing a qualitative, descriptive case study methodology, the study focuses on learning design, execution, and evaluation through the STEAM lens. Data were collected via observations, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, deputy principal, and classroom teachers. The learning process at Az-Zahra NU Kindergarten has transitioned from conventional drills to a STEAM approach, utilizing loose-part media and play activities tailored to each child's unique learning style. The study reveals a significant paradigm shift in early childhood education from traditional methods to a more dynamic, integrative STEAM approach. This shift promotes holistic development and simplifies educational planning, enabling educators to concentrate on adaptive, child-centric strategies. The findings highlight the successful integration of STEAM elements into the curriculum, enhancing children's engagement and creativity in learning. However, the research's limitation lies in its focus on a single institution and qualitative data, suggesting the need for broader, mixed-method studies in diverse educational settings. Future research should also include longitudinal studies to assess the long-term impacts of the STEAM approach. In conclusion, the study presents a compelling case for the widespread adoption of STEAM in early childhood education, offering a more effective and engaging method for fostering early literacy and comprehensive child development in the 21st century.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the economic empowerment of Pesantren Al Hikmah Purworejo through the YouTube platform and analyse the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research questions include: (1) How does Pesantren Al Hikmah in Purworejo develop and empower its economic independence through YouTube? (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development and empowerment of the economic independence of YouTube-based pesantren in Al Hikmah, Purworejo? (3) How is the solution to overcome the obstacles in developing the economic independence of YouTube-based pesantren in PP. Al Hikmah, Purworejo? This research uses a qualitative approach with an in-depth case study design. The results showed that Pesantren Al Hikmah developed economic independence and empowerment through a model of approaches, strategies and techniques of pesantren management. The figure of the caregiver who has a fairly mature background experience in the world of YouTube, pesantren policies based on modern video production management, strategies and techniques for making videos based on the talents and interests of students become the basis for empowerment and independence of pesantren. There are several supporting factors, such as the background of many students from information technology vocational schools, students who take courses with IT majors, consistency in uploading videos and the ability to optimise videos based on YouTube algorithms. The inhibiting factors include the increasing competition, YouTube algorithms changing rapidly, taking video footage from external parties that contain copyright risks. To overcome these obstacles, PP. Al Hikmah, Purworejo has made a breakthrough by innovating the existing content, such as adding shades of horror and mystic nuances in each of the latest content, adding more video animations to avoid copyright reprimands, always consistently uploading videos at the same time according to recommendations from YouTube and always learning the types of changes in YouTube algorithms that always experience adjustments.   REFERENCES   Adek Media Roza, d. Abstract

Mutiara Ibu Purworejo Integrated PAUD under the auspices of the Kasih Ibu Purworejo Foundation consists of Playgroup, Daycare, and Kindergarten services. This educational institution serves learners with more religious backgrounds than similar institutions in Purworejo Regency. From this, the author makes a scientific study to find out how the life of religious tolerance is taught to Learners who are still at an early age. The research approach used is Qualitative Research Method with Field Research, namely the author digs up information through Educators who are involved in learning and care. The data collection technique used is through interviews, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the Data Validation Process is carried out by the Triangulation Method and Re-asking the Sources. The results of the research conducted state that the Steps for Cultivating Tolerance Values in Learners of Mutiara Ibu Purworejo Integrated PAUD are carried out through 4 things, namely (1) Introduction of attitudes that support tolerance, (2) Habituation of applying rules, (3) Character models, and (4) Parental Involvement through Parenting Activities.
