Abstract

Local Government of Sukabumi City face a dilemma situation in relation to agricultural land conversion. On the one hand, local governments are obliged to accelerate the pace of economic growth through the development of industrial sectors, services, and property. But on the other hand, local governments should also give attention to efforts to defend and protect the existence of farm lands for the preservation of agricultural production. Formulation and implementation of land policy is needed to allow the system to continue business. Has not seen any technological breakthrough or Local Government efforts to compensate for the decline in agricultural production caused by loss of land. Local Government has proposed an alternative policy to restrict or prevent the conversion of fertile farmland into land as non-agricultural land policies that take into account the allocation of land use as well as the establishment of a sustainable land. Determination of the policy in the form of Regional Regulation is necessary to comprehensively wetland protection strategy based on the dynamics of policy-setting sustainable agricultural land. By focusing attention on the formulation and implementation of policies, indicators of a generic that can be used are: (1) the quality of the substance of the policy that contains guarantee people's basic rights, (2) the quality of the process of formulation and implementation of policies that contain respect for the principle of citizenship and democratic governance good and right. Both of these approaches is sufficient to be value inherent in the management of the dynamics of land conversion control policy related socio-agrarian identification, mapping the agrarian structure and relationship patterns that occur on the possession, control, utilization and land use policy into a whole discussion dynamics.

Abstract

This community empowerment is carried out through the utilization of waqf land in the form of two large ponds with an area of about 500 m2, then 5 classrooms that have not been used for a long time so that their condition is neglected.  The purpose of this activity is to overcome the existing problems, namely the water channel to the pond that has not been repaired, the quality of the pond that is not adequate to be used as a cultivation pond, the manager, namely the group formed by the PDM, does not have experience and knowledge in fish farming. The method carried out as a solution to the existing problems is in the form of fish farming management training by improving the quality of ponds for cultivation through SMART-K (Aquaculture Management System and Technology Engineering). Training on vertiqua, land-saving fish farming and utilizing empty space as a place for fish farming. The results achieved were the quality of the pond was improved and koi fish cultivation was carried out through SMART-K, the empty room was used for catfish cultivation using tarpaulin ponds, vertiqua gen 2 was made as a technology for land-saving fish farming. The sustainability of this activity has the potential to be used as a place for fish farming training for the general public and education for the younger generation such as school children

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat ini bermitra dengan Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah (PDM) Kota Sukabumi yang merupakan salah satu organisasi masyarakat, keagamaan dan sosial yang menerima tanah/lahan wakaf seluas 5600 m2, berlokasi di Balandongan Kelurahan Jayamekar Kota Sukabumi. Pada lahan wakaf tersebut terdapat dua kolam yang cukup luas masing-masing luasnya sekitar 500 m2, 5 ruang kelas yang sudah lama tidak dipergunakan sehingga kondisinya terbengkalai. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada yaitu saluran air ke kolam yang belum diperbaiki, kualitas kolam yang belum memadai untuk digunakan sebagai kolam budidaya, pengelola yaitu kelompok yang dibentuk oleh PDM belum memiliki pengalaman dan pengetahuan dalam budidaya ikan. Metode yang dilakukan sebagai solusi bagi permasalahan yang ada berupa pelatihan manajemen budidaya ikan dengan perbaikan kualitas kolam untuk budidaya melalui SMART-K (Sistem Manajemen Akuakultur dan Rekayasa Teknologi). Pelatihan vertiqua, budidaya ikan hemat lahan dan memanfaatkan ruangan kosong sebagai tempat budidaya ikan. Hasil yang dicapai adalah kualitas kolam diperbaiki dan dilakukan budidaya ikan koi melalui SMART-K, ruangan yang kosong digunakan untuk budadaya lele dengan menggunakan kolam terpal, dibuat vertiqua gen 2 sebagai teknologi bagi budidaya ikan hemat lahan. Keberlanjutan kegiatan ini berpotensi digunakan untuk tempat pelatihan budidaya ikan bagi masyarakat umum maupun edukasi bagi generasi muda seperti anak-anak sekolah.

Abstract

Sukabumi, located in West Java Province, faces serious challenges related to high unemployment rates. This phenomenon is a complex issue that needs to be addressed. One of the solutions that have been proposed and implemented in various regions, including Sukabumi, is the Job Training Program. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the job training program conducted by the Manpower Office in reducing the unemployment rate in Sukabumi. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. It employs the theory of the "Four Accuracies" by Richard Matland, which has been developed into "Five Accuracies" by Dian Purwanti. The Job Training Program in Sukabumi is still not optimal and faces many challenges, especially in the training provided. There is a lack of clarity after completing the program, and the job opportunities available do not match the market needs in Sukabumi. This program should collaborate with the job fair programs provided by the Sukabumi Manpower Office to make job training more effective and aligned with the current job market needs. Additionally, there is no monitoring of participants who have completed the Job Training Program, which should be carried out by the Sukabumi Manpower Office to assess the effectiveness of the program in reducing unemployment rates in Sukabumi.
