Abstract

The high potential of the coastal village of Jember Regency needs to be followed up with development and development programs. Empowerment of coastal communities is one form of program actualization, which requires the participation of the coastal community itself and stakeholders. In the context of this thought, collective commitment from parties with potential resources is needed. This study aims to determine the potential of coastal resources and determine the strategy of empowering coastal communities based on the potential of coastal resources in the Jember Regency. The research method used is a descriptive method, with data analysis using SWOT analysis as the basis for determining the strategy of empowering coastal communities in Jember Regency through an intensive group discussion approach (Focus Group Discussion, FGD). The results of the SWOT analysis formulate, namely: 1) Increasing knowledge and technology in the community about the concept of coastal and community empowerment (especially community participation), 2) Improvement of road access to coastal areas (especially beaches) Jember Regency as well as several infrastructure facilities to support the development of coastal ecotourism, 3) Strengthening community group institutions as a step to optimize the management of joint business groups (KUB) on the coast of Jember Regency, 4) Development of fishing port facilities and infrastructure (fish landing sites), 5) Identification of potential coastal resources and sustainable coastal community needs, 6) Delineation of coastal areas between villages within the sub-district area, 7) Integration of coastal community empowerment programs between stakeholders (horizontally or vertically).Keywords: community empowerment, Jember coast.

Abstract

The economic distribution of Banyuwangi is almost one third of which is in the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries categories. However, not all programs in the sub-sector can be implemented so that agricultural development based on the leading sub-sector is expected to be a priority. Therefore, strategic steps are needed in the development of the sub-sector in the future. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The results showed: 1) The agricultural sector for food crops gave a very large contribution to Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) every year with an average contribution for 5 years of 30.09%, followed by the fishery sub-sector with its contribution of 19.86%, livestock by 19.65%, plantations by 15.75%, horticulture by 9.94%, forestry and logging by 3.60% and agricultural and hunting services with a contribution of 1.11%; 2) The agricultural sector development strategy in increasing GRDP in Banyuwangi Regency that must be applied in this condition is to support an aggressive growth policy (growth oriented strategy).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui interaksi pemberian zpt organik dan pupuk daun terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil grafting tanaman terong (Solanum melongena, L) dengan tanaman tomat (Solanum Lycopersicum, L). Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF) dengan 2 faktor 3 kali ulangan dan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian adalah perlakuan ZPT Organik pada parameter tinggi tanaman Z3 dosis 15 ml/liter air dengan tinggi 29,64 cm, jumlah cabang 36 hst perlakuan Z1 dosis 5 ml/liter air dengan 40,25 cabang, jumlah tunas ketiak terbaik pada pupuk daun Z2 dosis 10 ml/liter air dengan 12,00 tunaspada umur 20 hst, jumlah buah terbaik pada perlakuan Z2 dosis 10 ml/liter air dengan 31,83 buah. Perlakuan pupuk daun pada parameter tinggi tanaman terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan P4 dosis 20 ml/liter air tinggi 38,33 cm pada 28 hst, jumlah cabang umur 36 hst terbaik perlakuan P3 dosis 15 ml/liter air 38,33 cabang, jumlah tunas ketiak terbaik P1 dosis 5 ml/liter air dengan 16,45 tunas, jumlah buah perlakuan pupuk daun terbaik P2 dosis 10 ml/liter air dengan 32.44 buah. Sedangkan interaksi pada parameter tinggi tanaman perlakuan Z2P1 dosis 10 ml/liter air dan 5 ml/liter air dengan tinggi 40,56 cm pada 28 hst, perlakuan Z1 P4 dosis 5 ml/liter air dan 20 ml/liter air dengan 13,78 cabang pada parameter pengamatan jumlah cabang, jumlah tunas ketiak terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan Z2 P3 dosis 10 ml/liter air dan 15 ml/liter air dengan 5,78 tunas, dan jumlah buah terbaik pada perlakuan Z2P2 dosis 10 ml/liter air dan 10 ml/liter air dengan 11,00 buah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bulurejo, Purwoharjo, Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini dimulai pada tanggal 7 Mei 2024 – 23 Agustus 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ZPT giberelin terhadap produksi buah naga diluar musim. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 1 faktor yang terdiri dari 3 ulangan dan 5 perlakuan dengan perlakuan yang berbeda disetiap ulangan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penyemprotan giberelin berbeda sangat nyata pada parameter jumlah bunga dan buah, pada parameter berat buah menunjukkan hasil berbeda nyata. Sedangkan pada parameter volume buah, kadar gula, dan ketebalan kulit tidak berbeda nyata. Parameter jumlah bunga pada perlakuan 800 ppm menunjukkan hasil dengan nilai rerata tertinggi adalah 17,83, parameter jumlah buah menunjukkan hasil dengan nilai rerata tertinggi 16 buah pada perkakuan 800 ppm, hasil tertinggi pada parameter berat buah terdapat pada perlakuan 200 ppm dengan nilai rata-rata tertinggi adalah 502 gram, parameter volume buah memiliki nilai rerata tertinggi pada perlakuan 200 ppm adalah sebesar 433,33 ml, untuk parameter kadar gula pada perlakuan 0 ppm dengan nilai rata-rata tertinggi adalah 15,67 brix, sedangkan parameter ketebalan kulit pada perlakuan 1000 ppm menunjukkan hasil dengan nilai rerata tertinggi adalah 3 mm.
