Abstract

Learning Hinduism at SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati in fact still tends to be teacher-centered, resulting in passive learners in the learning process. In addition, the cultivation of noble values ​​in accordance with the objectives of national education and Hindu religious education has not been 100% achieved. Based on this, there is a gap from the main learning objectives of Hindu religious education in shaping the character of students who have noble character and good ethical values ​​that have not been reflected in some students as expected by the community and their school environment. Therefore, choosing the right learning model is necessary so that the objectives of learning can be achieved. The theories used in analyzing the above problems are: Behavioristic learning theory and communication theory. This type of research is qualitative research. This research is located at SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati. The technique of determining informants in this study was using purposive technique. whereas in data collection using the method of observation, interviews, documentation, literature study systematically using data analysis techniques and presented with the technique of presenting the results of data analysis. The results showed the Hindu religious learning model at SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati used a contextual learning model, a problem-based learning model, and a direct learning model.

Abstract

Bali is known for its arts, culture, and traditions because every tradition and culture is always based on Hinduism and does not leave the local culture that already exists in the area. One of them is the performance of genggong music in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. This study aimed to determine: (1) the form of genggong music performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. (2) The function of Genggong Music Performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. (3) The values of Hindu religious education are contained in the genggong music performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The method used to collect data is observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique in this study was through three stages, namely descriptive, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The result shows: (1) there are several stages in playing genggong music, playing techniques, the duties of each instrument and the composition of the musicians in genggong music performances. (2) The functions of genggong music performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, namely social functions, aesthetic functions, expressive functions, and cultural preservation. (3) The value of Hindu religious education contained in the genggong music performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, namely the value of religious education, the value of ethical education (morals), the value of event education, the value of social education and cultural values. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the genggong music performance is the work of the "pengangon” (shepherd). On the other hand, some say that the term genggong comes from the sound produced by the instrument when it is exhaled. The sound produced from these gusts is “ngeng” and “ngoring” so the instrument is named genggong.

Abstract

The application of the problem-based learning model with the ASIK concept aims to improve student learning achievement in Pancasila Education subjects in the digital era. For this reason, in the test, a class was taken as a sample, namely class XII C at SMA Negeri 2 Bangli in Semester 1 of the 2024/2025 academic year. This research was carried out using qualitative methods, by collecting data through tests, observations, and interviews which were analyzed descriptively. This research was carried out in two stages, by making improvements to the learning steps using the ASIK concept until finally a significant increase in student learning achievement was obtained. From this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the learning model with the ASIK concept can improve learning achievement in Pancasila Education in the digital era. In this way, students can use their smartphones for meaningful learning activities.
