Abstract

Bali is known for its arts, culture, and traditions because every tradition and culture is always based on Hinduism and does not leave the local culture that already exists in the area. One of them is the performance of genggong music in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. This study aimed to determine: (1) the form of genggong music performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. (2) The function of Genggong Music Performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. (3) The values of Hindu religious education are contained in the genggong music performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The method used to collect data is observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique in this study was through three stages, namely descriptive, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The result shows: (1) there are several stages in playing genggong music, playing techniques, the duties of each instrument and the composition of the musicians in genggong music performances. (2) The functions of genggong music performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, namely social functions, aesthetic functions, expressive functions, and cultural preservation. (3) The value of Hindu religious education contained in the genggong music performance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, namely the value of religious education, the value of ethical education (morals), the value of event education, the value of social education and cultural values. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the genggong music performance is the work of the "pengangon” (shepherd). On the other hand, some say that the term genggong comes from the sound produced by the instrument when it is exhaled. The sound produced from these gusts is “ngeng” and “ngoring” so the instrument is named genggong.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the digital era is one of the challenges in developing children's character today. Technology has had an impact in terms of the decline in children's character values. Therefore, Hindu religious education is very important in this situation to help students understand and overcome the moral dilemmas that occur in the digital world. This research aims to determine the efforts that need to be made to strengthen student character in the digital era. This research uses a qualitative type of research using a descriptive analysis approach. The results of this research indicate that cyber technology can be used to create learning strategies that encourage students to learn independently, and the character of education must be consistently included in all Hindu religious learning activities. Apart from school teachers, parents also play an important role in directing children to use technology wisely. The character values ​​that can be instilled in Hindu religious teachings are as follows, religious values, tolerance, discipline, independence, curiosity, friendship/communicativeness, caring for the environment and responsibility.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal, understand, describe, and analyze facts about implementing multicultural education as strengthening the five central values of student character in the form of moderation at SDN Kutuh Kintamani, holistically and comprehensively following the science of religious education. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative. The methods used in data collection were interviews, observations, and documentation. The technique for determining informants was carried out using purposive sampling, taking samples adapted to the research objectives, and data analysis was carried out in four ways: data collection, reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Implementing multicultural education and strengthening the five central character values is very important for students' lives in society, in addition to understanding the five central character values that the Ministry of Education and Culture has determined as a reference for realizing religious moderation to prevent discriminatory actions against different groups in society, and also embodies the spiritual teachings they adhere to. This research impacts the social life of society to understand multicultural education, which can strengthen the five central character values as a form of religious moderation established by the Ministry of Education and Culture to foster solid and reliable religious tolerance. This research focuses on a study of the implementation of multicultural education to strengthen the five central character values of students' religious moderation, which has been carried out previously.

Abstract

Each region in Bali has its own local religious wisdom that characterizes the dynamics of its religious activities. One of the local wisdoms found in Kayuputih Village lies in the implementation of ngembak api. Its uniqueness is clearly visible from the form of its implementation until the end of its implementation which includes a series (procession), time and place, and the facilities used. The purpose of this study is to understand the integration of Hindu religious education in the implementation of ngembak api. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a phenomenological approach, because the focus of this study is to explore the experiences, perceptions, and views of the community regarding the ngembak api tradition. There are two types of data sources in this study,namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through observation and interviews, while secondary data is obtained through document studies and literature reviews. The selection of informants in this study was carried out using a purposive technique. The data collection technique used is data reduction. The results of this study are1) factors causing integration in the kayuputih community in the ngembak api ceremony, 2) ngembak api process occurs, 3 )implications of the integration of ngembak api. Conclusion of this study Through the integration of the ngembak api tradition into Hindu religious education, the community is not only taught spiritual knowledge,but also directed to practice noble values ​​in real life. This tradition is not only a cultural asset,but also an effective means to build individual morality and community harmony in line with Hindu teachings. The values ​​of the ngembak api tradition can be passed on to future generations as well as being an integral part of character education based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Education is a process or effort made by one person to another to increase knowledge from not knowing to knowing, from not understanding to understanding and from not being aware. Through the education obtained, humans can make things through the consideration of their minds and can increase their creativity. In addition, it also increases the natural potential and abilities possessed in accordance with what is expected. In human life, education is the main need to develop all forms of potential in him. The problems to be discussed in this study are: (1) accessing the role of schools in the development of character education in Langgahan (2) knowing the role of parents in developing character education in Langgahan Village (3) accessing the role of the community in developing character education in Langgahan Village. This study aims to determine the role of schools, parents, and the community in character development, and to determine the value of character education from the role of schools, parents and society. This research is examined using the theory of moral development in this study using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, literature study, documentation. The data that has been collected was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis methods. Based on the results of the research and data analysis conducted, it shows that (1) the role of schools in the development of character education in children both through learning and extracurricular activities, (2) the role of parents in developing parental character education as educators in the family and as role models. , (3) in the development of character education in the community through the application of the teachings of Tri Hita Karana such as prahayangan, pawongan and palemahan. The implications of the role of schools, parents and the community in the development of character education in children believe in character, religion, honesty, independence, hard work, tolerance, discipline, responsibility, and care for the environment. Referring to these findings, it can be seen that the role of schools, parents, and the community plays an important role in the success of children and has been running well based on problem analysis with the theory used in this study.
