Abstract

The pandemic storm had succeeded in changing education directed online (into network). Over time, online learning raises various problems that are feared to have implications for children's competence. Moreover, online learning tends to focus on the role of parents as educators at home. Reflecting on this, this research chose schools in Denpasar as a sample to identify the role of parents on children's competencies during online implementation. As an important part of the research, several research objectives were formulated, namely, to find out the implications of the parents’ role on children's competence in the field of spiritual attitudes and social attitudes as a moral (affective) basis, the field of knowledge or children's analytical power (cognitive), and the field of creativity or skills child (psychomotor). By using a research method with a type of qualitative research, this research obtained data from primary and secondary data sources. In terms of determining informants, a purposive sampling technique was used, balanced with several data collection techniques, namely observation techniques, interviews, document recording, and library research. After data was obtained, the, data was analyzed using interactive data analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results of this research indicated that the role of parents in learning Hindu Religious Education during pandemic in Denpasar city had positive implications for development of children's spiritual attitude competencies, but it had negative implications for development of children's social attitudes, knowledge and skills. So, conclusion of this research was the role of parents in online learning during the pandemic has been going well, but it needs to be optimized so that it has positive implications for the overall development of children's competencies.

Abstract

Education is one aspect of life that receives extra attention for the progress of a nation. Indonesia is no exception, which is currently still making great efforts to improve the quality of its education. One of the efforts that has been made by Indonesian people is to implement a new curriculum called Merdeka Curriculum. However, as long as its existence, there were still many schools and teachers who need guidelines to implement it optimally. Based on these problems, it was very appropriate to conduct a study with the title Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Learning Hindu Religious Education and Ethics at the Junior High School level in Bangli Regency. The aim of this research was to describe the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in the learning planning stage, learning implementation stage, and learning evaluation stage. Through qualitative research methods with a descriptive naturalistic approach. The results of the research showed that, firstly, at the learning planning stage, the form of implementation of the Merdeka curriculum is carried out in several ways, including: 1) Holistic deepening of Merdeka curriculum, 2) Selection of the independent option to change as a reference for Merdeka curriculum, 3) Preparation of teaching modules based on Merdeka curriculum , 4) Preparing a variety of teaching materials, 5) Preparing a variety of learning media, and 6) Designing formative and summative assessments. Second, at the learning implementation stage, the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum is carried out in several ways, including: 1) Providing initial diagnostic assessments to determine student diversity, 2) Implementing differentiated learning, 3) Applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model, and 4) Application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Discovery Learning (DL) learning models. And thirdly, at the learning evaluation stage, the form of implementation of the Merdeka curriculum is carried out by implementing a combination of formative and summative assessments.

Abstract

Student satisfaction with the services provided by universities is one of the determining factors for success in achieving the vision and mission of the university. The quality of university services to students is seen as one of the tools to achieve a competitive advantage. Universities must take anticipatory steps in facing increasingly competitive competition and are responsible for exploring and improving all aspects of the services offered by universities. This study aimed to analyze the satisfaction level of postgraduate students with the services of Universitas Hindu Negeri (UHN) I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. This study was survey research. The subject was an active postgraduate student at UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research results showed that the total of instruments in each field number of respondents in each field, namely 1140 respondents was in governance, management, and cooperation. Furthermore, 570 respondents were in the student affairs field, and 1482 were in the finance and infrastructure field. Last, 5130 respondents were in the education field, and the total number of respondents in each field was 8322 respondents from 144 correspondences. Furthermore, the researchers converted the overall results of the respondents in percentages with a total of 41.85% very satisfied, 53.83% satisfied, 3.50% doubtful, 0.70% dissatisfied, and 0.12 very dissatisfied. Overall, the total instrument results of the satisfaction level of postgraduate students with the services of the UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar were in the very high category. In terms of service, they have produced a very satisfactory level of satisfaction. The analysis of the Hindu religious education concept on the postgraduate student satisfaction was studied based on the implementation of activities and routines in daily life based on the Sarasamuccaya scripture. It explains the relationship between the concepts of leadership and decency, Geguritan Niti Raja Sasana, Dharma Sevanam, and Bhagawad Gita as well as the teachings of Dharma Sabda and Panca Satya. It was outlined in the governance, management, and cooperation, the field of student affairs, finance, and infrastructure, and education of a postgraduate student at UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar.
