Abstract

Budget policies for Islamic education in contemporary Indonesia, especially in the post-New Order era, are still within the authority of the management of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) of the Republic of Indonesia. In terms of quantity, the amount of budget obtained is still in the low category compared to the national education budget received by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. Moreover, the budget received by the MORA is not all for the implementation of Islamic educational institutions but also for other non-Islamic educational institutions which are the responsibility of the ministry. Therefore, this paper discusses the policies of the Islamic education budget in Indonesia and the impacts of these policies on the implementation and sustainability of the quality of Indonesia’s Islamic education. This paper exposes that Islamic education policies are always placed at a crossroads. In this context, the Islamic education budget policy is face to face and even contrasted with other policies. The problems with the political policies of the education budget, including those in the Islamic education budget policy in contemporary Indonesia, still need to be continuously monitored, evaluated, and implemented in relation to existing policies to optimize while providing better solutions and contributions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab berkembangnya pendidikan Muhammadiyah yang bermula dari pemikiran K.H. Ahmad Dahlan hingga menjadi lembaga pendidikan yang modern dan menjadi pelopor bagi lembaga yang lain. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Perkembangan pendidikan Islam modern di Indonesia berawal dari dikotomi rakyat pribumi yang mendapatkan pendidikan layak pada zaman penjajahan Belanda, serta berbagai macam pengaruh yang mewarnai berkembangnya sistem pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Berawal dari semangat perubahan dan keluar dari penjajahan belanda inilah mulai bermunculan konsep-konsep pendidikan kebangsaan (pribumi, rakyat, nasionalis) yang berfungsi untuk mencerdaskan bangsa dan menggobarkan nasionalisme. Filsafat pendidikan di Muhammadiyah menitikberatkan pada perpaduan iman serta kemajuan berfikir. K.H. Ahmad Dahlan pun berhasil menyatukan dua ilmu yang berbeda tersebut menjadi satu sehingga pendidikan Muhammadiyah merupakan cikal bakal dan pelopor pendidikan Islam modern. Pembaharuan pendidikan yang dilakukan K.H. Ahmad Dahlan menghasilkan lembaga pendidikan Muhammadiyah yang memiliki keutuhan dalam sistem dan praktik pendidikannyadanmenjadi lembaga pendidikan yang modern dan menjadi pelopor bagi lembaga yang lain.

Abstract

Abstract Islamic studies that discuss the issue of traffic education in contemporary Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia are necessary to be followed up more seriously. In this context, the main purpose of this research is to find out what and how the problems of traffic as well as traffic education in Indonesia? What is the urgency of developing a traffic education curriculum in an Islamic perspective? This paper is written using qualitative data which is based on references and literature on books, news, journals and opinions in the mass media and other relevant sources in the study of the development of the traffic education in contemporary Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia. The results of the study show that: First, the problem of traffic education in Indonesia is very complex. From day to day, we know that the number of accidents has not yet dropped significantly.Even the highest accident rates occur in the age of students and school children. Secondly, the development of a traffic education curriculum in an Islamic perspective is very urgent given the many problems caused by the many factors underlying traffic accidents. Muslims and Islamic education institutions in this country should take a role of the awareness of students and schoolchildren to carefully keep trying to realize, know and obey all traffic rules for the safety and common good. Abstract

Perkembangan sejarah pendidikan Islam banyak dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor sosial dan  budaya yang ada di masyarakat sekitar. Pendidikan Islam pada zaman Rasulullah tidak lepas dari faktor sosial dan budaya masyarakat kala itu. Pendidikan dan pengajaran Islam berisikan nilai-nilai ketauhidan, ibadah, akhlak, syariah, dan sosial budaya kemasyarakatan bahkan tata kelola bernegara. Lahirnya sistem pendidikan Islam tentu saja telah dipersiapkan Allah SWT agar manusia kembali kepada fitrahnya sebagai khalifah fil ard yang berarti pengganti di muka bumi. Khalifah disini dapat diartikan sebagai manusia makhluk yang mempunyai akal pikiran, menjunjung nilai-nilai kebenaran dan  beriman kepada Allah dan mampu menjaga bumi dari kerusakan. Melalui Muhammad SAW, Allah telah memberi mandat kepadanya untuk membimbing manusia melalui jalam pendidikan dan pengajaran agar manusia dapat berperan menjadi khalifah dimuka bumi, beriman kepada Allah serta menjalankan kewajiban beribadah kepadaNya.

Also, what is the impact of these policies on the implementation and sustainability of the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia
