Abstract

MANETs are considered as suitable for commercial applications such as law enforcement, conference meeting, and sharing information in a student classroom and critical services such as military operations, disaster relief, and rescue operations. Meanwhile, in military operation especially in the battlefield in freely medium which naturally needs high mobility and flexibility. Thus, applying MANETs make these networks vulnerable to various types of attacks such aspacket eavesdropping, data disseminating, message replay, message modification, and especially privacy issue. In this paper, we propose a secure communication and information exchange in MANET with considering secure adhoc routing and secure information exchange. Regarding privacy issue or anonymity, we use a reliable asymmetric encryption which protecting user privacy by utilizing insensitive user attributes as user identity, CP-ABE (Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption) cryptographic scheme. We also design protocols to implement the proposed scheme for various battlefied scenarios in real evironment using embedded devices. Our experimental results showed that the additional of HMAC (Keyed-Hash Message Authentication Code) and AES (Advanced Encryption standard) schemes using processor 1.2GHz only take processing time about 4.452 ms,  we can confirm that our approach by using CP-ABE with added HMAC and AES schemes make low overhead.

Abstract

HPC (High Performance Computing) has become more popular in the last few years. With the benefits on high computational power, HPC has impact on industry, scientific research and educational activities. Implementing HPC as a curriculum in universities could be consuming a lot of resources because well-known HPC system are using Personal Computer or Server. By using PC as the practical moduls it is need great resources and spaces.  This paper presents an innovative high performance computing cluster system to support education learning activities in HPC course with small size, low cost, and yet powerful enough. In recent years, High Performance computing usually implanted in cluster computing and require high specification computer and expensive cost. It is not efficient applying High Performance Computing in Educational research activiry such as learning in Class. Therefore, our proposed system is created with inexpensive component by using Embedded System to make High Performance Computing applicable for leaning in the class. Students involved in the construction of embedded system, built clusters from basic embedded and network components, do benchmark performance, and implement simple parallel case using the cluster.  In this research we performed evaluation of embedded systems comparing with i5 PC, the results of our embedded system performance of NAS benchmark are similar with i5 PCs. We also conducted surveys about student learning satisfaction that with embedded system students are able to learn about HPC from building the system until making an application that use HPC system.

Abstract

Quadruped robot adalah multi-legged robot yang digerakkan dengan 4 kaki. Selama ini cara menggerakkan kaki robot adalah dengan memberi nilai langsung pada setiap joint / sendi. Hal ini tentunya membutuhkan waktu yang lebih lama karena masih menggunakan metode trial-error terlebih lagi jika joint / sendi yang dimiliki robot sangat banyak. Maka dari itu permasalahan ini dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan inverse kinematic. Inverse kinematic dapat mempercepat proses pendefinisian pose kaki dengan data masukkan berupa titik koordinat dan hasil keluaran berupa nilai untuk setiap joint / sendi robot. Pada Udiebot, setiap kaki memiliki 3 DOF (degree of freedom) dengan total keseluruhan adalah 12 DOF. Parameter-parameter mekanik kaki robot perlu didefinikan terlebih dahulu termasuk model forward kinematic. Lalu dilanjutkan dengan implementasi inverse kinematic yang dianalisis dengan pendekatan geometri. Dari hasil pengujian terlihat bahwa maksimal error yang didapatkan sekitar 0.11% yang menandakan bahwa sistem berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Quadruped robot is a multi-legged robot driven by 4 legs. During this time, the way to move a robot's leg is to give a direct value for each joint. This certainly requires a longer time because it still uses the trial-error method and if the joint owned by the robot is very much. Therefore this problem can be overcome by using the inverse kinematic. Inverse kinematic can accelerate the process of defining foot poses with coordinate as input and values for each joint / robot joint as output. At Udiebot, each leg has 3 DOF (degree of freedom) with a total 12 DOF. Robot foot mechanical parameters need to be defined first including the forward kinematic model. Then proceed with inverse kinematic implementation which is analyzed by geometry approach. From the test results it can be seen that the maximum error obtained is around 0.11% which indicates that the system is running well. Abstract

The electricity bill accounts for a considerable amount of the full operating costs of industries. CV. Wellracom Nusantara has a lot of electronic equipment and industrial machines for production. Here, the company does not really know the electricity usage each month. They only know the significant amount of bill payments and over-budget when the electricity bill comes. Therefore, it is crucial for companies to accurately estimate future electricity costs as a strategy to reduce over-budget and uncontrolled costs. To overcome the problems, we propose a prototype monitoring system to make it more comfortable to monitor the use of electrical power in the company. This solution allows the electricity consumption from all devices to be monitored and controlled. The prototype monitors the use of electrical energy from each device and controls the electronic devices. The proposed solution adopts IoT technology using industrial-scale devices. This can monitor electricity consumption data from each device in real-time, record historical data from daily to monthly, send notifications, and control on/off devices. This prototype has an accuracy of 98% of the reading measurement results compared to the digital AVOmeter. Through a simple experiment using electric power loads of two light bulbs and two laptop chargers for 24 hours, we confirmed that the implemented prototype runs correctly.Keywords— electricity usage management, electricity bill, IIoT, IoT

Pemanfaatan teknologi internet sudah menjadi kebutuhan di era ini. Bahkan, cloud computing menggabungkan teknologi komputer dengan jaringan berbasis internet. Cloud Computing memudahkan pengguna untuk menjalankan program tanpa menginstal aplikasi terlebih dahulu dan lebih mudah untuk mengakses informasi melalui internet. Kelompok masyarakat dapat menggunakan teknologi ini untuk memajukan desa. Desa Plunturan merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kabupaten Ponorogo yang memiliki banyak produk budaya. Reyog adalah ikon seni desa Plunturan. Selain reyog, masih ada beberapa produk budaya, seperti gajah, jathilan, ganongan, tledekan, dan karawitan. Potensi Desa Plunturan dapat menarik perhatian wisatawan. Namun, masyarakat desa Plunturan masih belum memaksimalkan potensi seni tersebut. Seni pertunjukan belum mampu menarik wisatawan untuk datang ke desa Plunturan. Cloud computing berpotensi dapat meningkatkan pengenalan wisata budaya Plunturan. Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat bekerjasama dengan NGO ULAP dari Denmark, masyarakat dan pengelola desa wisata budaya Plunturan. Desa Plunturan dapat mengadopsi beberapa keuntungan layanan cloud sehingga publikasi desa wisata budaya dapat dimaksimalkan. Layanan cloud yang diadopsi meliputi desain, manajemen dokumen, dan website.
