Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap kinerja sosial perusahaan tahun 2022. Unit analisis penelitian ini adalah penerima program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional Unit Dumai (KPI RU II Dumai). yaitu Kelompok Masyarakat Tani Alam. Peneliti menggunakan pedoman PERMENPANRB (Kementerian Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi) dalam menyusun indikator untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan masyarakat. Tanggapan yang terkumpul kemudian ditabulasikan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat terhadap program CSR KPI RU II Dumai pada 12 responden adalah 3,42, atau 85,5 setelah konversi. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap Program CSR Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Petani Lahan Gambut tahun 2022 adalah Sangat Baik, dengan predikat A. Berdasarkan data dari 14 unsur yang diolah, skor terendah untuk tanggapan masukan dan saran dari masyarakat adalah 2,8 atau 70,8 setelah konversi, dengan nilai B. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja sosial perusahaan, KPI RU II Dumai perlu lebih terbuka dalam menerima saran dan rekomendasi dari masyarakat terkait pengembangan program CSR.This study aims to measure the level of community satisfaction towards the company's social performance in 2022. The unit of analysis for this research is the recipient of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional Dumai Unit (KPI RU II Dumai), namely Kelompok Masyarakat Alam Tani. Researchers use the PERMENPANRB (Ministry of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform ) guidelines in compiling indicators to determine the level of community satisfaction. The responses collected were then tabulated and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis methods. The results showed that the Community Satisfaction Index for the KPI RU II Dumai CSR program through 12 respondents was 3.42, or 85.5 after conversion. These results indicate that the level of community satisfaction with the CSR Program "Empowerment of Peatland Farmers Communities" in 2022 is "Outstanding", with an "A" grade. Based on the 14 indicators analyzed, the lowest score for the response to input and suggestions from the community was 2.8 or 70.8 after conversion, with a "B" grade. To improve corporate social performance, KPI RU II Dumai needs to be more open in accepting suggestions and recommendations from the community regarding the development of CSR programs.

Abstract

One strategy to deal with climate change is accelerating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction through a community-based approach. In Indonesia, the government pursues community engagement to reduce GHG emissions through the Program Kampung Iklim (ProKlim). We collected data from 2015-2018, then measured emission reductions (ER) in the waste, livestock, agriculture, energy, and forestry sectors by subtracting baseline and mitigation emissions. The analysis compares the emission reductions achieved through Community-based Action (CBA) to the national emission reduction achievement. The results show that the sector with the most participation rates and the most significant contributor to emission reductions in ProKlim is the energy and waste sector. On the other hand, the sectors that attract the least public attention and emission reduction are the livestock and agriculture sectors. Through 61 community groups and 138 actions, from 2015 to 2018, CBA contributed 133,312.38 tons of CO2e emission reductions, 0.012% to national emission reductions, with the participation value equivalent to USD$266.080. Based on this number, CBA can be the answer to Indonesia's low position in international carbon trading. A strategy that focuses on increasing community participation is needed to optimize the contribution of the CBA to large-scale national emission reductions.

Abstract

The waters of Dumai City, Riau Province, serve as an international transportation route with a strategic position in economic and industrial growth. Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 819 of 2018 was issued to regulate shipping zones and ensure the safety of port service users. However, this regulation has sparked numerous complaints from the public, particularly fishermen, due to livelihood restrictions that directly increase operational costs. To address these negative reactions, the Dumai Port Authority Office (KSOP) plays a significant role by implementing various measures in enforcing Ministerial Regulation No. 819 of 2018. This study aims to understand the communication strategies used by the Dumai Port Authority Office, especially in coordinating with stakeholders. This research uses a qualitative method, gathering data through observation and interviews. The results show that the Dumai Port Authority Office, along with the Class I Dumai Navigation District, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, and PT Wilmar Cahaya Asia, has a strategic role with the ability to influence policy direction and implementation. The Dumai Port Authority Office adopts strategies that involve collaboration with strategic partners, annual outreach programs, the distribution of social assistance and life jackets to the fishing community, and cooperation with relevant agencies and government institutions, including the Water Police, to monitor vessels violating regulations. Additionally, KSOP involves the participation of the community and companies, including the certification and standardization of maritime safety instruments. This study contributes to the discussion on the effectiveness of communication strategies in maritime policy implementation, where this approach can enhance understanding and acceptance of regulations within the maritime community.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi potensi pengembangan pariwisata di Kota Dumai, Riau, dengan memfokuskan pada sumber daya alam, geografis, sosial, dan budaya yang menjadi daya tarik utama. Melalui jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode survei, kami menyelidiki berbagai objek wisata, termasuk pantai, mangrove, gambut, kebun buah, dan warisan budaya melayu. Penelitian juga mengidentifikasi tantangan dan hambatan dalam pengembangan, seperti kebersihan, diversifikasi atraksi, dan aksesibilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan pariwisata di Kota Dumai membutuhkan pendekatan holistik dan kolaboratif antara pemerintah, pengelola wisata, dan masyarakat setempat. Kolaborasi ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan destinasi pariwisata yang berkelanjutan dan memadukan pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Potensi kolaborasi dengan perusahaan energi melalui skema CSR juga menjadi peluang strategis dalam menciptakan desa energi yang berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran umum tentang upaya yang diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi pariwisata Kota Dumai dan menghadirkan pengalaman wisata yang memuaskan bagi pengunjung lokal maupun internasional. Kata Kunci: Analisis Kelayakan Wisata; Pengembangan Wisata; Potensi Kota Dumai Abstract: This research explores the potential for tourism development in Dumai City, Riau, by focusing on the natural, geographical, social, and cultural resources that serve as the main attractions. Through a descriptive research approach with qualitative methods and survey techniques, we investigated various tourist attractions, including beaches, mangroves, peatlands, fruit orchards, and Malay cultural heritage. The study also identified challenges and obstacles in development, such as cleanliness, attraction diversification, and accessibility. The research findings indicate that tourism development in Dumai City requires a holistic and collaborative approach involving the government, tourism managers, and the local community. This collaboration is expected to create a sustainable tourism destination that integrates economic growth with environmental sustainability. The potential collaboration with energy companies through CSR schemes is also seen as a strategic opportunity to establish a sustainable energy village. These findings provide a general overview of the efforts needed to optimize the tourism potential of Dumai City and deliver a satisfying tourist experience for both local and international visitors.
