Abstract

One of the issues in Christianity that has become a problem and debate among Christian theologians to this day is the rejection of salvation outside of Christianity. They claim salvation can only be obtained through Christianity. Non-Christians do not get salvation to enter heaven, they automatically enter hellfire. The purpose of this study is to understand the concept of salvation outside Christianity correctly based on the analysis of 1 Timothy 2:5-6. The researcher used a qualitative method with a literature study approach through various relevant sources, such as the Bible, books, journal articles and credible documents. The results of this study found that salvation is not only obtained by believers (Christians), while non-Christians go to hell. Rather, non-Christians also obtain salvation for those who live based on good morals and ethics and live according to the law. They are welcomed into heaven as members of society. In contrast to Christians who are centered on Jesus Christ and wear the life of Jesus on this earth, later they will reign with God in the new heavens and new earth. Salvation is not determined by one's religion, but faith expressed through concrete actions every day. 1 Timothy 2:5-6, the salvation that Jesus worked out 2000 years ago through the redemption of the sins of all mankind is universal salvation or all mankind.

Abstract

Acts of terrorism are often associated with Islam; even though Islam itself teaches its adherents as a religion of sowing love for the whole world. But in reality, the terrorists justify their actions by reason of jihad or holy war. This can lead to negative perceptions among people of other religions towards Islam, so that it can interfere with inter-religious harmony. This study aims to determine whether there is a negative perception among Christians towards Islam regarding acts of terrorism and what factors influence it. This explanatory research uses a cross-sectional approach. In collecting data, researchers used a questionnaire or questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Stepwise multiple linear regression test. From the research that has been done, the results show that even though there are acts of terrorism, the majority of Christians still have a positive perspective on Islam. Negative perceptions of Christians regarding terrorism are influenced by negative attitudes from external parties towards Islam and a lack of knowledge about Islam.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The goal of this study is to ascertain how religion affects recovery from generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). The research's context is an example of a teacher's worry at a Christian school in Kupang Regency, which led to the teacher's subpar performance. The researcher's method of inquiry was qualitative. The author employed a literature review and open-ended interviews as data-gathering methods. The research informant worked as a teacher in Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, at a private Christian school. The findings of this study suggest that religion can help people with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) feel less anxious. Religiosity can lessen anxiety in people with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), yet it cannot totally heal the condition.
