Abstract

The need for ship units can be met by building new ships, purchasing second ships that are still viable, chartering ships, and modification of existing ships. Decision considerations may include ship building time, level of urgency or budget. One of the decisions a ship owner can take considering budget, time and owned existing ship is by modifying the ship according to their needs, for example modification of a flat top barge (FTB) to an accommodation work barge (AWB). The need for plate material, especially when modifying FTB to AWB, requires construction calculations for the modified part. The modification made was to create accommodation space above the main deck. The accommodation space construction calculations are adjusted rules BKI 2022 about classification and construction, part I, volume II. From data of general arrangement and BKI rules, the results show that thickness of plate outer wall of superstructure and boat deck is 8 mm, thickness of room bulkhead plate, navigation deck and top deck is 6 mm, size of the internal construction in accommodation room/boat deck is frame/stiffener/deck beam profile L90+90 x 8 mm, web frame/web stiffener/strong beam profile L120+120 x 10 mm, deck girder profile T150+80 x 8 mm.

Abstract

Pada era industrialisasi ini tenaga listrik sangat dibutuhkan sebagai sumber energi utama untuk berbagai peralatan dalam dunia industri, maka dibutuhkan sistem pendistribusian yang sangat baik supaya supplay energy tidak terganggu, Sistem distribusi tenaga listrik harus diawasi sesuai peraturan supaya tidak menimbulkan losses yang dapat merugikan pelanggan. Dalam hal ini dibutuhkan transformator yang berfungsi sebagai system pendistribusian tetapi dalam penerapan dilapangan sering kali terjadi losses maka perlu pengawasan dalam melakukan penyambungan wirring antar fasa yang sesuai peraturan PUIL 2011 dan standar nasional Indonesia (SNI). Setelah melakukan analisa didapat akibat losses sebesar 6,6% dan 0,6%.

Abstract

Self propelled barge SPOB 3500 DWT carrying Crude Product Oil (CPO) in this study, was built in Singapore in 1984. After operating for a long time, this ship was then included in the Indonesian Classification (BKI), so that in terms of construction it must also follow the requirements of BKI 2019 regulations,. In order to find out the construction adjustments needed to be accepted by the class and also to prevent over-construction, it is necessary to calculate the additional construction based on the latest BKI rules. In this study, an analysis of the old construction drawing data was carried out and mathematical calculation of size of additional transverse bulkhead construction and pelate of double bottom based on rules BKI 2019 Volume. Based on data and regulations of BKI 2019, this ship must add 2 units of transverse bulkhead at cargo tank and change the bottom construction from a single bottom to a double bottom installed along the cargo tank. From the calculation results, it knew that the old bulkhead pelate thickness still meets BKI requirements, the additional transverse bulkhead pelate thickness is 8.0 mm, the double bottom height is 1010 mm and the inner bottom pelate thickness is 8.0 mm.

Abstract

Modifikasi kapal tongkang 345 kaki menjadi Accommodation Work Barge (AWB) 345 kaki memerlukan perencanaan material yang cermat untuk menunjang kebutuhan akomodasi lepas pantai. Kuantifikasi kebutuhan material struktural dan pelindung sangat fundamental dalam proyek modifikasi kapal ini, mempengaruhi kelayakan teknis dan ekonomisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jumlah kebutuhan plat dan siku, serta estimasi kebutuhan material cat beserta biayanya, pada modifikasi kapal AWB 345 kaki. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan mengumpulkan data dari gambar General Arrangement (GA) kapal AWB 345 kaki. Perhitungan konstruksi bangunan atas dilakukan secara matematis berdasarkan aturan Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak AutoCAD. Kebutuhan material cat dihitung berdasarkan luasan area dan spesifikasi cat yang ditentukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan total berat konstruksi dinding dan dek adalah 82,04 ton, dengan kebutuhan 451 lembar plat tebal 8 mm untuk dinding luar, dan profil siku bervariasi; sementara itu, luasan pengecatan mencapai 3.841,167 m² (3 lapis) dan 4.382,995 m² (1 lapis), dengan estimasi biaya cat Chugoku sebesar Rp 313.340.000. Kuantifikasi material struktural dan cat ini sangat krusial untuk pengadaan material yang efisien, manajemen biaya, dan kepatuhan terhadap standar teknis dalam proyek modifikasi kapal. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang modifikasi struktural AWB dan rekomendasi teknis berharga bagi industri maritim, termasuk dasar perhitungan material sandblasting dan cat.
