Abstract

Sultan Suriansyah was the King of Bandarmasih (the First King of Banjar) who ruled from 1520-1540 and was the first king to embrace Islam. Tourism-related to the tomb of Sultan Suriansyah is very popular among the people of Banjar. However, the folklore that tells about Sultan Suriansyah is not as popular as his tomb, many young people today don't know it, even across Indonesia it is also not well known for this folklore from South Kalimantan. The purpose of this research is to design and build a folklore game with an action-adventure genre that adapts the story of Sultan Suriansyah to preserve Banjarmasin folklore and as a means to understand grammar in the Banjar language. The research method used is the Game Development Life Cycle with stages in the form of Pre-Production, Production, Testing, and Post-Production. The results show that the game design has been produced in the form of a storyboard and then developed using Godot Engine software with the output of the (.apk) extension application that can be installed on mobile devices. Then the Playtesting and Gameflow testing was also carried out which involved 50 respondents as players with an age range of 13-15 years, the results showed that the games built and tested had met the elements and criteria with an overall average value of 4.84 and no bugs were found in the game. Tests related to player knowledge and justification for using games as a media to preserve folklore and a means to understand the Banjarese language have also been carried out with very good results.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there are still many children who are cared for inappropriately, such as neglect and violence against children, toddlers receive inappropriate care (3.69%), and toddlers experience developmental disorders (16%), both fine and gross motor development, hearing and intelligence loss, and speech delay. The child's condition cannot grow and develop optimally. The research aims to analyze the influence of the parenting practice educational model on the knowledge and growth of children under five. The educational model implemented is the result of previous survey research, so it is more appropriate to conditions in the field. This research used a pre-experimental design in Bogor City on June-August 2023 with 40 respondents. Sample criteria are mothers who have children aged 12-60 months. There were 20 people in each intervention and control group. The intervention was given seven times face to face for seven weeks. The independent variable is the educational model of caring for mothers, and the dependent variable is knowledge of caring for mothers, growth, and toddlers. The results of the Mann-Whitney test showed that there was difference in the median post-test score between the intervention and control groups in the growth variables of 5.5 points (p0.003<0.05), development of 6 points (p0.005<0.05), and knowledge of parenting practices of 10 points (p0.006 < 0.05). These data show a significant influence between the model of implementing parenting education on growth and toddlers and parenting knowledge. More education needs to be done on parenting using various media to improve the growth and development of toddlers.

Abstract

The introduction of solid, semi-solid or soft foods is positively associated with nutritional status and reduces the likelihood of stunting. The results of the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey in 2022 showed that the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia still reached 21.6%. West Java Province has a stunting prevalence of 20.2%, while in Bogor City it is still 19.3%. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between family characteristics, complementary feeding patterns and the nutritional status of toddlers. The research design used a mix method (quantitative and qualitative). Quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach and qualitative research with indepth interviews (exploring complementary feeding patterns, problems, handling and educational needs related to complementary feeding). The qualitative exploration result were analyzed using deductive thematic. The study population was all toddlers aged 12-60 months in Bogor City, the sample size was 120 with purposive sampling. Statistical tests used chi-square test and Mann-whitney test. The results showed a significant relationship between family characteristics and patterns of complementary feeding with the children’s nutritional status under five. The results of qualitative exploration showed there were four themes, namely First, social and cultural and adverse beliefs. Second, lack of knowledge, Third, the environment (home and residence) is less supportive. Fourth, poor economy. The research concluded that there was a relationship between family characteristics and patterns of complementary feeding with the nutritional status of children under five. Efforts are needed to overcome the problem of stunting through education about complementary feeding.
