<![CDATA[Political activities in Indonesia are often marred by feuds and horizontal conflicts. This is caused by the misuse of religious identity for the benefit of various groups and political parties. This paper aims to reveal the importance of religious moderation in the frame of Christian theology applied in the context of politics in Indonesia, as well as identify political conflicts with religious backgrounds that are considered very dangerous and threaten the integrity of the nation. This research uses a qualitative method, namely library research with a Christian theology approach as its main reference, of course, literacy is relevant to the research problem. The results show various challenges of religious moderation in politics in Indonesia, the theological basis of religious moderation, and theological values in religious moderation. In conclusion, applying religious moderation in a theological frame can avoid political conflicts with a religious background.Kegiatan berpolitik di Indonesia kerap kali dicederai oleh perseteruan dan konflik horizontal. Hal tersebut diakibatkan oleh penyalahgunaan identitas agama demi berbagai kepentingan kelompok maupun partai politik. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pentingnya moderasi beragama dalam bingkai teologi Kristen yang diterapkan di dalam konteks berpolitik di Indonesia, serta mengidentifikasi konflik politik yang berlatar belakang agama yang dinilai sangat berbahaya dan mengancam keutuhan bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yaitu library research dengan pendekatan systematic theology sebagai rujukan utamanya, tentunya literasi-literasi tersebut relevan dengan permasalahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berbagai tantangan moderasi beragama dalam politik di Indonesia, Dasar teologis moderasi beragama, dan Nilai-nilai teologis dalam moderasi beragama. Kesimpulannya, dengan menerapkan moderasi beragama dalam bingkai teologis dapat menghindari konflik-konflik politik yang berlatar agama.]]>
