Abstract

The implementation of this community service activity is motivated by a global issue that is currently developing, namely the spread of the COVID 19 virus. The spread of the virus, which also occurs in Ende district, has awakened various parties to implement a clean lifestyle, make efforts to prevent and break the chain of spread of the COVID 19 virus. One of these efforts is realized through this community service activity, namely by cleaning, socializing and spraying disinfectants in public areas. One of the areas that became the target of this dedication was the Jami At'Taqwa Onekore Ende Mosque. To achieve the goal of this Community Service activity is carried out through several approaches, including; 1) Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) Model which emphasizes community involvement in all activities starting from planning, implementing and evaluating activity programs, 2) Participatory Technological Development Model which utilizes appropriate technology based on local knowledge and wisdom, 3) Model Community development is an approach that involves the community directly as the subject and object of implementation of community service activities, 4) Persuasive, namely an approach that is appeal and support without coercion for the community to take an active role in this activity, 5) Educative, namely the socialization, training and mentoring as a means of transferring knowledge and education. The results of the Social Service Activities for cleaning the environment of the Jami 'At-Taqwa Onekore Mosque can run well in accordance with the activity plan, namely cleaning the mosque environment, cleaning irrigation ditches, transporting garbage and spraying disinfectants. This is shown from the following conclusions; 1) All residents become enthusiastic training participants and have a good commitment to all the programs discussed before the activity for the sake of creating a sense of security and peace in worship in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, 2) There has been an increased understanding of the knowledge of the Covid 19 outbreak and how to maintain security self in minimizing outbreaks. Namely by means of 3M (Keeping Distance, Washing Hands and Wearing Masks), 3) A place of worship that is clean, safe and comfortable and has a safe distance limit mark in worship.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the application of scientific approach in the 2013 curriculum of accounting subjects to high school students in Ende City. This study uses a type of survey research conducted in four schools. Research sample of 12 accounting teachers. Data is collected by using questionnaires and observations. The results showed (1) accounting teachers were able to design learning plans based on scientific approaches, quantitatively the frequency score of teacher poll results knew 33%, knew 67% and did not know 0%; (2) Observation results show that accounting teachers have not been able to apply a scientific approach to learning well. In conclusion, quantitatively accounting teachers are already aware of the learning plan scientifically, but have not implemented this scientific approach well. The implication is that teachers should get technical training and guidance on scientific approaches so that they can be applied in learning according to scientific procedures. Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe; (1) The effect of learning discipline on the learning achievement of VIII grade students of social studies subject matter of social deviation at Yos Sudarso Ende Junior High School, (2) The effect of learning environment on the learning achievement of VIII grade students of social studies subject matter of social deviation at Yos Sudarso Ende Junior High School, (3) The effect of learning discipline and learning environment on the learning achievement of VIII grade students of social studies subject matter of social deviation at Yos Sudarso Ende Junior High School. This type of research is quantitative research. The main data collection techniques; (1) Questionnaire (2) Test, and (3) (Documentation). The data collected was analyzed using the double correlation formula produced by the moment model Sugiyono. The results showed that: (1) There is a correlation between the achievement variable and the learning environment with the learning discipline control variable obtained a relationship of 0.546 (strong) with a sig probability of 0.000, meaning that the relationship is significant. The calculation results show that the t value for the interpretation coefficient for β0 = 0.615 provides a significant value at α = 0.05 (it can be seen that the t value = 5.349 with 59 degrees of freedom is greater than t table = 2.576 or Sig = 0.000); for β1 = 0.438 provides a significant value at α = 0.05 (it can be seen that the t value = 3.863 with 59 degrees of freedom is greater than t table = 2.576 or Sig = 0.000), meaning that learning achievement can be influenced by learning discipline by 0.438 (meaning that if learning discipline increases by 1% it will affect the increase in learning achievement by 0.437%, if the learning environment is constant), (2) There is an influence of the learning environment on the learning achievement of social studies students in class VIII SMPK Yos Sudarso Ende). Likewise, learning achievement can be influenced by the learning environment by 0.481 (meaning that if the learning environment increases by 1%, it will affect the increase in learning achievement by 0.481%, if the learning discipline is constant). Thus it can be suggested, (1) To the School. It is recommended that the school pay attention to the student learning environment because the results of the study prove that there is a significant influence between learning achievement and the learning environment, (2) To Parents. Parents of students are advised to create a conducive learning environment for children at home so that children can learn well.

Abstract

This study aims to prove and describe (1) implementation of canva learning media ini interest of class VIII students through the Canva learning media for the Social Studies subject, Social Mobility Material at SMPN 4 Nangaroro Satap, (2) The learning interest of class VIII students for the Social Studies subject, social mobility material after the application of the Canva learning media at SMPN 4 Nangaroro Satap. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which is implemented in 2 cycles. The data collection techniques used are (1) observation, (2) documentation. The research subjects were 25 students of class VIII at SMPN 4 Nangaroro Satap. The results of the data analysis can be concluded that (1) Canva learning media has been implemented well in social studies learning on social mobility learning materials. This can be seen from Canva learning in cycle I  of 72,5% (quite good category) and in cycle II of 95% (including the very good category). (2) Students interest in learning after applying Canva based increased in cycle I students interest learning was 75% (fairly good category) and the level in cicly II was 95 % (good category). This it can be suggested (a) teachers should be able to use a variety of learning media in teaching, one of which is Canva learning media as an alternative to increase students interest in learning. (b) Canva learning media is not only used in social studies subjects but can also be used in other subjects. (c) Schools are expected to facilitate teachers in the use of Canva learning media.
