Abstract

Social media has become the main platform for the younger generation to get information and communicate. In this digital era, it is important to understand the influence of social media on students' enrollment decisions in higher education. This study aims to Analyze the influence of social media usage on students' enrollment decisions at STMIK Surya Intan. Find out the types of social media that have the most influence on students' enrollment decisions. Formulate strategies for utilizing social media to increase the number of applicants at STMIK Surya Intan. This research method uses a quantitative method with a survey research design. The research sample was prospective students who registered at STMIK Surya Intan in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through an online questionnaire. The results of the study on the influence of social media usage on students' enrollment decisions. Information about the types of social media that have the most influence on students' enrollment decisions. Strategies for utilizing social media to increase the number of applicants at STMIK Surya Intan. The results of the analysis show that the frequency of Instagram use has a significant positive correlation (r = 0.75, p 0.01) with the decision to register. In addition, multiple linear regression analysis showed that both the frequency of Instagram use and the influence of friends' recommendations significantly predicted the decision to enroll (R² = 0.56, p 0.01). This finding indicates the important role of social media, especially Instagram, in the student decision-making process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh seleksi, pelatihan, penempatan, dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Bank Mega Syariah Kantor Cabang Ujung Berung Bandung, Jawa Barat. Sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan organisasi, khususnya pada industri perbankan syariah yang menuntut profesionalisme dan kepatuhan terhadap prinsip syariah. Oleh karena itu, proses seleksi yang tepat, pelatihan yang berkesinambungan, penempatan yang sesuai dengan kompetensi, serta motivasi kerja yang tinggi diduga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada seluruh karyawan sebagai responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen (seleksi, pelatihan, penempatan, dan motivasi) terhadap variabel dependen (kinerja karyawan). Uji hipotesis dilakukan melalui uji t (parsial), uji F (simultan), serta koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial maupun simultan, seleksi, pelatihan, penempatan, dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Variabel motivasi merupakan variabel yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kualitas proses rekrutmen, pelaksanaan pelatihan yang efektif, penempatan yang sesuai kompetensi, serta pemberian motivasi yang berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan secara optimal.

Abstract

This study examines effective human resource (HR) empowerment strategies to improve the local creative economy. The urgency of this research is based on the fact that the creative economy, despite being a driver of economic growth, has not reached its optimal potential due to the low capacity of local HR. This research is important to identify effective HR empowerment strategies to increase the productivity, innovation, and competitiveness of creative economy actors at the local level. The results are expected to serve as a reference for the government and stakeholders in formulating HR-based policies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the inhibiting and supporting factors of HR empowerment in the local creative economy sector, formulate strategies that are appropriate to the characteristics and needs of creative economy actors, and provide policy recommendations to increase this sector's contribution to local development. The method used is a qualitative approach with literature studies, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). SWOT analysis will be used to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges, while AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis will be used to prioritize strategies based on weighted criteria. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between HR empowerment strategies and the improvement of the local creative economy. Through the analysis, the most effective strategy was identified as a combination of increasing technology access and business mentoring. The formulated empowerment model is applicable and evidence-based, providing policy recommendations for the government and stakeholders. Thus, this research contributes to the development.
