Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani dapat diartikan sebagai suatu proses pendidikan melalui kegiatan jasmani yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kesegaran jasmani, keterampilan, pengetahuan dan sikap sehat, sportivitas dan sikap aktif. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana media modifikasi plat plastik dapat meningkatkan keefektifan pembelajaran lempar cakram siswa kelas VII A SMPN 2 Sukodono. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode one group pre-post test design dengan subjek 20 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penggunaan media piring plastik berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar lempar cakram pada siswa kelas VII A SMPN 2 Sukodono dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan statistik menunjukan peningkatan dari hasil pre test dan post test sebesar rata-rata pre test 73,05 dan hasil post test 84,70.

Abstract

The primary goal of learning English is to serve as a means of communication, given its status as a global language. It is crucial for educators to employ effective teaching techniques that pique students' interest in learning English. To achieve this, instructors should utilize appropriate approaches for instructing procedural writing to encourage active and creative participation in the classroom. Leveraging video as an educational tool aligns with the goals of language instruction, particularly when teaching writing especially write procedural texts. The researchers employed a quantitative research methodology to analyze the data collected in this study. The study focused on the population of class XI students at SMKN 1 Rejotangan with a sample of 41 eleventh-grade AKC 1 students. The research instruments included pre-test and post-test writing assessments. Data analysis involved descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis testing utilizing the Wilcoxon test. The average score in the post-test was found to be higher than the initial test (53.8537 > 79.9024). Moreover, the obtained significant value was lower than the predetermined significance level (0.000 < 0.05), indicating a significant improvement in students' writing abilities after being taught using video as a media.

Abstract

The main objective of learning English is to use it to communicate. Teachers must have good teaching methods to solve the problems students face in learning English.  Communicative Language Teaching is one of the methods that suits the goal of language teaching, especially in teaching speaking. Thus, the research objective was to know the effectiveness of communicative language teaching on students' speaking abilities. The researcher used a quantitative research design that was carried out using a pre-experimental design (pre-test and post-test). The population of this research is tenth-grade students of SMAN 1 Rejotangan Tulungagung. The sample in this study consisted of students from class tenth G, totaling 36 students. The researcher chose 20 tenth-grade students in SMAN 1 Rejotangan Tulungagung for this research. The instrument was an oral test. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, and the hypothesis was tested using a paired Sample T-test. The average post-test score is higher than the average post-test score on the initial test (80.40 > 75.45). Furthermore, the significant value obtained is lower than the significance level (0.000 < 0.05). Thus, the tenth-grade students of SMAN 1 Rejotangan have better speaking ability after being taught using the CLT strategy.

Abstract

This study explored the impact of colorful pictures on vocabulary teaching effectiveness for students at TKK Santa Maria Tulungagung. Utilizing a pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design, the research involved TKK Santa Maria Tulungagung students who engaged with colorful pictures. Analysis was conducted using the SPSS 27 statistical program. Findings indicated a significant improvement in vocabulary mastery among students using colorful pictures, with a two-tailed sig. value of 0.006, which is below the 0.05 threshold. The incorporation of colorful pictures not only enhanced understanding but also made the learning process more engaging and enjoyable. Consequently, colorful pictures are deemed an effective strategy for teaching vocabulary to kindergarten students. This research aims to assist teachers in selecting more innovative and efficient methods to enhance vocabulary acquisition at the early childhood education level.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the implementation and achievement of the achievement fostering program in the sepak takraw sports branch in the Sepak Takraw Association of All Indonesia (PSTI) Gresik Regency, in 2024. The type of research is evaluation research, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Porcess and Product) model. The data collection technique uses questionnaires, direct observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive. The results of the study show that the results of the evaluation of the achievement coaching of the sepak takraw sports branch in PSTI Gresik Regency. Context, in PSTI Gresik regency has been implemented and running well, input, good. The process has been carried out and is running well. Product, achievements have been good in the last five years in the form of achievements that have been achieved, supported by championship result documents. The recommendation is directed at the development of sepak takraw not only in the archipelago but also on the mainland. The final conclusion of achievement coaching in the Sepak Takraw sports branch of PSTI Gresik Regency has gone well, but it is still based on the islands, it is necessary to carry out a combination of achievement coaching on the mainland and islands.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang peran dari internet pada kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menerjemahkan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Translation. Data untuk penelitian untuk diambil dengan tiga cara, yaitu observasi, wawancara dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui bahwa di kelas Translation mahasiswa memiliki kebebasan untuk menggunakan internet. Internet juga diyakini memberi kontribusi terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menerjemahkan terutama untuk menerjemahkan dengan lebih natural. Selain itu, mahasiswa memanfaatkan mesin pencari seperti google dan yahoo, membaca artikel-artikel di internet dalam bahasa Inggris dan menggunakan kamus online. Akan tetapi, mahasiswa cenderung tidak puas terhadap hasil terjemahan yang dihasilkan ketika mereka menggunakan google translate. Kesimpulan pertama yang dapat diambil, kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menerjemahkan cukup baik. Hal itu terbukti dengan nilai rata-rata kelas yang mencapai 78.67. Kesimpulan kedua, internet cukup membantu mahasiswa dalam menerjemahkan

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan laporan akhir dari penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana teknik outlining bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis. Peneliti memutuskan untuk melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap, perencanaan, pengimplementasian, observasi dan refleksi. Kriteria sukses yang ditetapkan adalah 75% dari seluruh siswa melampaui KKM 75. Pada siklus pertama, hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa hanya 50% dari siswa yang melampaui KKM 75. Sedangkan hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menggunakan teknik outlining. Oleh karena itu, siklus kedua perlu untuk dilaksanakan. Pada siklus kedua, hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang melampaui KKM 75 ada 75% dari keseluruhan siswa. Selain itu, hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa aktif dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Mereka cenderung lebih antusias dalam mengikuti pelajaran. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kriteria sukses sudah tercapai. Dengan kata lain, teknik outlining terbukti bisa meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis paragraf deskriptif.
