Abstract

The problems in this study are 1) the low student learning outcomes, 2) the lack of student activity in the teaching and learning process, 3) and the CIRC learning model in the classroom has never been applied. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on the economic learning outcomes of XI graders in the even semester of Gedongtataan 1 Public High School 2018/2019. The method used in this study is the experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class XI.IPS 1 Gedongtataan High School totaling 94 students, the sample consisted of two classes namely class XI IPS 2 and XI IPS 3, where class XI IPS 2 as an experimental class which amounted to 33 students and class XI IPS 3 as a control class with 33 students. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling technique. The instrument in this study used multiple choice tests and hypothesis testing in this study using the formula ttes. Hypothesis testing using the statistical formula t-test obtained t hit = 6.22 and the distribution table t at a significant level of 5% is known tdaf is t (1-1 / 2 α) = 2.00 so that it is proven thit> t daf. Thus it can be concluded that "there is the effect of applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model to the economic learning outcomes of the XI graders in the even semester of Gedongtataan 1 Public High School 2018/2019".

Abstract

In the growing trend of increasing shopping habits among the public, Uniqlo remains one of the well-known brands frequently sought after by consumers. This study aims to analyze the influence of Hedonic Shopping, Fashion Involvement, and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying among Uniqlo consumers at Lippo Plaza Mall Sidoarjo. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method via a questionnaire administered to 103 respondents selected through accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Hedonic Shopping does not significantly influence Impulse Buying (β = 0.138; p = 0.309); (2) Fashion Involvement has a significant positive effect on Impulse Buying (β = 0.350; p = 0.010); (3) Shopping Lifestyle does not have a significant effect on Impulse Buying (β = 0.175; p = 0.216). Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly influence Impulse Buying with an R² value of 0.264, meaning that 26.4% of the variation in Impulse Buying is influenced by these three variables, while 73.6% is influenced by factors outside the model.Based on these findings, it is concluded that Fashion Involvement is the dominant factor influencing Impulse Buying behavior among Uniqlo consumers in Sidoarjo. The practical implication of this study is the need for marketing strategies focused on strengthening consumer involvement in fashion, such as through collaborations with influencers or the launch of limited-edition products, to increase impulsive purchases.

Abstract

Students learning mathematics need effective mathematical communication abilities. This skill is weak in class XI Phase F SMA Negeri 3 Padang 2023/2024. Evidenced by observations. Think Pair Square (TPSq) cooperative learning is being used. This study analyzes whether the TPSq model improves mathematical communication abilities over direct learning and how they evolve. Study employed Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. A quiz and final test assessed math communication. Sampling was random. The research hypothesis was supported by Mann-Whitney. Quiz data revealed all indicators improved. The P-value was 0.001. H0 was rejected due to a P-value < α=0.05. The TPSq model improves mathematical communication better. Keywords–Mathematical Communication Skills, TPSq,  Direct Learning

Abstract

Criminal law in Indonesia has undergone significant development in response to the increasing complexity of modern crimes, which can no longer be effectively addressed by the provisions of the Criminal Code (KUHP). This study aims to analyze the types of criminal law in force in Indonesia, identify the characteristics of special criminal law as a response to extraordinary crimes, and examine corporate liability within the framework of special criminal law. The research method employed is normative legal research using a legislative and conceptual approach. The results indicate that Indonesian criminal law is divided into general criminal law and special criminal law, where special criminal law serves as an adaptive criminal policy instrument against transnational crimes such as corruption, narcotics, money laundering, human trafficking, terrorism, and cybercrime. The characteristics of special criminal law are marked by deviations from general criminal procedure law, a reversal of the burden of proof, and the ability to hold corporations liable as perpetrators of criminal acts. This study concludes that special criminal law is not merely a supplement to the Criminal Code (KUHP), but a main pillar of contemporary Indonesian criminal law policy.
