Abstract

In line with the goals of vocational education and the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution, Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has become one of the alternatives to enhance the quality of learning, with the hope that students can develop critical thinking skills to solve real-life problems. The approach used in this research is a development research approach based on the modified Plomp development model. Validation results indicate that the module meets the validity criteria with an average score of 3.60, with some revisions related to writing. Product testing was conducted with 24 students from 4 different classes. Research subjects were selected considering their heterogeneous cognitive abilities. Case study work was done in groups, with each group consisting of 3 students. The trial results show that the module meets practical criteria with an average score of 3.76. Therefore, the case study module for the statistics course is deemed suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education in pesantren plays an important role in the birth of students with entrepreneurial character. The advantages and positive impacts of entrepreneurship education in boarding schools as described, are very relevant to support the government's agenda, especially in increasing the quantity of new entrepreneurs. This study uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to predict and confirm the hypotheses given. This research uses Google Forms for data collection on Santri Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Ulum Banyuwangi. Respondents in this study were 230 respondents who were used as research objects. The results showed that Entrepreneurship Education cannot explain Entrepreneurial Intention directly. However, Entrepreneurship Education can explain Entrepreneurial self-efficacy directly, Entrepreneurial self-efficacy variables can explain Islamic Values and Entrepreneurial Intention. Furthermore, Islamic Values will have more influence on Entrepreneurial Intention, if strengthened by Islamic Values as a mediator variable. Meanwhile, Entrepreneurship Education will have more influence on Entrepreneurial Intention, even if it is strengthened by Islamic Values as a mediator variable

Abstract

Ketidakpastian lingkungan bisnis sangat berpengaruh terhadap kelangsungan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM). Oleh karena itu, strategi yang diterapkan dalam mengelola usaha perlu dievaluasi secara berkala untuk mengetahui kesesuaian dan efektivitasnya. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan bisnis dan kemampuan mengelola usaha. Metode pelatihan menggunakan ceramah dan simulasi. Tujuan pelatihan dijelaskan di awal pelatihan,  kemudian menyimulasikan Board game Do It Start A Business. Terakhir diskusi tentang manfaat bermain Board game. Pelatihan ini memberikan pemahaman dan pengalaman kepada pemain tentang mengembangkan strategi bisnis,  karakter yang melekat pada individu mempengaruhi pola pengelolaan bisnis dan perempuan lebih hati-hati dalam mengelola bisnis yang menyebabkan perkembangan bisnis relatif lambat.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology presents significant challenges, particularly in vocational education, where the aim is to produce skilled graduates ready for the workforce. This study analyzes the problem-solving competencies of vocational students when resolving case studies in Statistics courses. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving 90 students divided into 30 groups as subjects. Primary data were gathered from the students' case study analyses, which were classified and analyzed according to Polya’s problem-solving stages. Findings revealed that students demonstrated varying levels of initiative in understanding problems and developing solutions. Specifically, 20% of the groups fell into the substance category, 46,67% into result, and 33,33% into completion. Substance groups struggled with planning and data collection, while result groups exhibited minor errors in implementing their plans, particularly in data processing and presentation. Meanwhile, completion groups showed a comprehensive understanding and effective problem resolution. The analysis of these problem-solving capabilities provides a foundation for a deeper evaluation of instructional effectiveness and the development of targeted teaching strategies.

Abstract

Praktik intimidatif dan penguasaan ruang oleh premanisme, dari terminal hingga sektor investasi, mencerminkan lemahnya supremasi hukum di Indonesia. Perlindungan terhadap korban masih tertinggal, menyisakan trauma sosial yang mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pola kekerasan premanisme individu dan kolektif serta memetakan kelompok korban rentan beserta kerentanan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial mereka melalui pendekatan viktimologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka dan analisis isi untuk menelaah pola kekerasan premanisme dari perspektif viktimologis. Data dikumpulkan dari sumber sekunder seperti literatur ilmiah dan media massa. Pendekatan ini membantu mengidentifikasi bentuk kekerasan serta kerentanan korban, terutama kelompok rentan, tanpa observasi lapangan langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola kekerasan premanisme mencakup kekerasan fisik, psikologis, dan ekonomi, yang sering terjadi di ruang publik dengan kontrol keamanan lemah. Kelompok korban yang rentan antara lain pedagang kecil, tukang ojek, perempuan, dan anak jalanan. Dengan pendekatan viktimologis, ditemukan bahwa korban mengalami kerentanan berlapis akibat minimnya perlindungan hukum, trauma psikologis, dan eksklusi sosial, diperparah oleh rendahnya kepercayaan terhadap aparat penegak hukum.
