Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi masyarakat Desa Nengahan terhadap pelaksanaan prosesi upacara pernikahan Adat Jawa. Berdasarkan pada penelitian sebelumnya diketahui bahwa tradisi pernikahan Adat Jawa masih dilestarikan masyarakat Desa Nengahan, Kecamatan Bayat, Kabupaten Klaten. Pernikahan merupakan suatu hal yang sakral dan suci menjadi pandangan hidup yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat Desa Nengahan, mereka berpegang pada aturan baku pernikahan Adat Jawa meskipun tidak diselenggarakan secara lengkap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa masyarakat Desa Nengahan memiliki persepsi yang berbeda terhadap pelaksanaan prosesi pernikahan Adat Jawa. Perbedaan persepsi tersebut, antara lain sebagai berikut: Pertama menganggap bahwa makna dari tata upacara pernikahan Adat Jawa hanyalah sebuah mitos. Kedua, masyarakat yang memiliki pandangan bahwa “awakedewe iki wong Jowo ojo nganti ilang Jowone” (kita ini orang Jawa jangan sampai hilang Jawanya) dengan maksud bahwa jangan sampai orang Jawa kehilangan identitasnya dengan tidak melaksanakan Adat Jawa. Ketiga, pelaksanakan pernikahan Adat Jawa hanyalah elu-elu (mengikuti) kebudayaan karena mengikuti sesepuh tanpa mengetahui makna dari upacara pernikahan Adat Jawa tersebut.

Abstract

Death marks the conclusion of the disease trajectory. Prevention of fatality in patients facing acute and chronic diseases requires the competence of reliable health workers, with nurses playing a crucial role in delivering proficient care. Aiming for early detection of patients' clinical deterioration, nurses use an early warning system. Objective: to determine the effectiveness of EWS training in-tray method on knowledge and practice of EWS. We conducted a quasi-experimental study using one group pretest-posttest without a control group. The sample of this study was 70 executive nurses with consecutive sampling techniques. The research was held at the Inpatient Installation of Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital (SSIDH) in June 2023. Observation sheets were utilized to assess Early Warning System (EWS) practices, and we employed valid and reliable questionnaires to gather information on respondents' knowledge. We performed univariate analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Most respondents were in the late adult category (52.9%), female (80.0%), graduate Diploma III in nursing education (54.3%), and the most working period of 5 years (78.6%). The knowledge of participants increased significantly from 7.00 (2.00-13.00) (pretest) to 11.50 (5.00-20.00) (posttest) (p-value = 0.000). There was an increase in nurses' EWS knowledge and practice (p-value <0.05). Efforts to improve nurse competence in caring for patients with critical conditions are necessary. This can be achieved through coaching and regular training with the priority target of implementing nurses in the intensive care room.

Abstract

Main Purpose - This research was conducted with the aim of testing the effect of leverage, liquidity, profitability on company value. The research population is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) 2018-2022. Design/methodology/approach - The sample obtained was 18 manufacturing companies based on purposive sampling criteria. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression analysis, normality test and hypothesis testing with SPSS version 22.0. Main Findings - Based on the case phenomenon experienced by PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) experienced a decline in performance due to a decrease in net profit generated by the company which resulted in the value per share decreasing. So the research results show that leverage has a positive effect on company value, liquidity has no effect on company value, profitability has a positive effect on company value and dividend policy has a positive effect on company value. Theory and Practical Implications - So the implication in this research is to know the level of increase or decrease in company value based on the company's ability to fulfill its obligations, earn profits and distribute dividends by the company which are taken into consideration when investing in the company. The level of company liquidation does not influence investors to invest because investors usually consider the profits generated by the company.
