Abstract

Everyday human activities will produce residues, both from the consumption process and the results of activities in the form of waste. Problems in waste handling lead to littering and waste without specifying the type of waste. waste sorting is done in a sitting position and waste transportation is done standing with the same worker. This problem is the current reason for designing a tool that functions in adjusting the work position of the waste separator so that it is not burdensome for workers in carrying out their work. Anthropometric dimensions are used to determine the size of the product to be designed, and anthropometry specifically studies body size including linear dimensions, strength, speed and other aspects of body movement. Thorough testing of the system will include observing the system as it starts from the beginning and moving towards the expected final state, with the aim of ensuring that the entire system operates according to the author's original plan and runs stably. The final results of this study will produce conclusions that can be drawn. as follows The role of this ergonomic conveyor uses an anthropometric approach to accommodate comfortable and safe use. This research produces an ergonomic conveyor tool to help waste sorting workers that can prevent injury or good body position when doing work. In addition, this conveyor tool can make work processes and efficiency in sorting organic and inorganic waste.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di CV Berdikari Magetan. perusahaan bergerak di bidang jasa, suara kebisingan di perusahaan masih berdampak terhadap karywannya, faktor yang mempengaruhi suara kebisingan yaitu pada mesin produksi yang tidak sesuai dengan standar 85 dB dan setiap lingkungan kerja masih diatas rata-rata, ruang kantor 92,56 dB, ruang produksi 86,92 dB. Hasil identifikasi tersebut dilakukan penilaian risiko, penilaian risiko untuk mengetahui berapa tingkatan dari bahaya yang teridentifikasi, semakin tinggi tingkat risiko maka semakin diutamakan untuk dilakukan pengendalian risiko. Pencahayaan terhadap lingkungan di CV Berdikari diperoleh rata-rata 100 Lux, hasil terhadap lingkungan CV Berdikari di peroleh 66,2 Lux, oleh karena itu tingkat kebisingan perlu dikendalikan untuk dapat menghindari kejadian yang dapat mengganggu proses produksi dan kesehatan karywan, karena dalam proses pemotongan dampak suara yang keras dapat memungkinkan mengganggu pendengaran dan kebisingan biasanya dapat terjadi akibat adanya gesekan pada mesin yang sedang beroprasi di lingkungan kerja.

Abstract

In industries that still use human power to move materials, even though some relatively modern industries have used machines as a tool for moving materials, manual material handling (MMH) is still very necessary because it has advantages compared to using tools, namely. Manual material handling usually occurs in confined spaces and where workers rely heavily on the human body to lift items, but if manual material handling (MMH) is not carried out ergonomically, accidents can occur. Damage to body tissue due to removal. The method used in this research is a questionnaire based on the NBM (Nordic Body Map). Regarding the worker's position, RWL (Recommended Weight Limit) is a method used to explain some movement errors in traditional stone body presses. From the results of the analysis of the Grindulu River for two Tegalombo stone crushers, Pacitan, the results were good or there was no potential for injury because the results were less than 1, namely the value for worker 1 was 0.162 (Good) and worker 2 was 0.384 (Good). obtained from distributing questionnaires from 2 respondents on the banks of the Grindulu river, Tegalombo, Pacitan, conclusions can be drawn. 1. Using Biomechanical forces on organisms and investigating the interaction effects of body forces, including forces arising from inside and outside the body, workers do not experience potential injury and produce a score below 1 (Good). Abstract

This research was conducted at UD Berkah Gemilang Magetan bread UMKM. UD Berkah Gemilang is an MSME that operates in the food industry whose products are bakpia, sponge cake and peanut bread. This research aims to determine the internal and external conditions that are occurring within UD Berkah Gemilang. This study also analyzes the posture of workers at UD Berkah Gemilang, this analysis is expected to minimize serious injuries to workers at UD Berkah Gemilang Magetan. This research uses the RULA method, with data collection techniques using observation and documentation methods. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the position of workers in the bread dough process section is very dangerous and there must be improvement to avoid excessive muscle injury. In this study, the working posture of the body parts at UMKM UD Berkah Gemilang was evaluated using the RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) method. Based on the score for the workers' body posture in the bread dough process, it is 6, which means that further investigation will change immediately. Meanwhile, the working posture oven process received a score of 4, which means further investigation and changes may be needed.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan penyuluhan, pendampingan dan praktek langsung kepada Ibu-Ibu PKK Desa Dempel, Kecamatan Geneng, Kabupaten Ngawi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan karena begitu banyak potensi tanaman di Desa Dempel yang mana bisa dimanfaatkan untuk bahan pembuatan batik ecoprint. Selain itu, banyak ibu-ibu Desa Dempel yang menganggur. Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah diharapkan warga Desa Dempel dapat menjadi pengrajin batik Ecoprint, sehingga dapat memanfaatkan potensi tanaman yang ada di lingkungan sekitar dan sekaligus dapat menambah penghasilan keluarga sehingga perekonomian warga menjadi meningkat. Metode pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah berupa praktek atau demo langsung membuat batik ecoprint dilaksanakan di Desa Dempel.  Tahapan kegiatan ini adalah Pelatihan pembuatan batik ecoprint yaitu dengan pemaparan materi kemudian praktek secara langsung pembuatan batik ecoprint. Hasil dari pelatihan ini, ibu-ibu menjadi terlatih dalam membuat batik ecoprint. Diharapkan memberikan wawasan dan ketrampilan kepada masyarakat dalam pembuatan batik dengan memanfaatkan dan mengkreasikan daun-daun sekitar tempat tinggal mereka. Selain itu diharapkan juga bisa mendorong perekonomian desa dengan menciptakan lapangan kerja baru melalui unit usaha kecil. Diharapkan dari unit usaha tersebut ecoprint dapat digemari dan dicintai masyarakat luas. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bisa dilanjutkan dengan mendirikan kelompok unit usaha yang bisa menyediakan lowongan kerja bagi masyarakat desa untuk membuat hasil karya yang bisa diterapkan dengan batik ecoprint

Abstract

This study aims to forecast the sales of bottled drinking water (AMDK) products in 220 ml glass packaging at XYZ Company. The problem faced by the company is the inaccuracy of production planning due to fluctuations in demand, which causes excess and shortage of stock, and has an impact on increasing storage costs and potential delays in distribution. To overcome this, sales forecasting was conducted using historical sales data for 2024 with five time series forecasting methods, namely Moving Average, Simple Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Triple Exponential Smoothing, and Decomposition. The evaluation is done using three error measures: Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Square Error (MSE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The analysis showed that the Multiplicative Decomposition method with a seasonal length of 2 is the best method with a MAPE value of 16, MSE 1138, and MAD 2,586,324.

Abstract

This study aims to redesign an ergonomic red onion planting tool to improve work efficiency for farmers in Sukomoro District, Nganjuk Regency. The main problems faced by farmers include uncomfortable working posture, long planting times, and high dependence on manual labor. By applying ergonomic principles and using local anthropometric data, a new tool was designed and tested directly by 20 farmer respondents. The results showed that the redesigned tool reduced average planting time by up to 20% compared to the previous tool and received positive responses from the majority of farmers based on a satisfaction questionnaire. The tool was developed with consideration for user comfort, planting distance accuracy, and ease of operation. This study concludes that the redesigned planting tool is feasible to be used as an effective and sustainable mechanization solution to enhance productivity and farmer welfare in red onion cultivation.

Abstract

The PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the textile industry. In recent years, there have been issues with production smoothness, one of which is the thermoflux machine frequently experiencing downtime, disrupting production flow. This research aims to analyse the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value, identify loss factors based on the Six Big Losses, and identify the root causes of the problems. Based on the analysis conducted, an Availability Rate of 57% was obtained, a Performance Rate of 61.18%, a Quality Rate of 89.57%, and an OEE value of 30.68%. From the Six Big Losses identification results, the highest type of loss obtained is Reduce Speed Losses. Proposals for improving Autonomous Maintenance include daily checklists and routine cleaning. Planned Maintenance involves a maintenance schedule twice a month and monitoring runtime. Quality Maintenance adjusts machine parameters to meet standards. Focused Improvement is carried out through evaluations and inspection checksheets. Training and Education include monthly training, while Safety, Health and Environment ensures the use of PPE in accordance with SOP.. Abstract

The role of the textile industry is very important because this industry is involved in the supply of clothing. This research was conducted at Company TFX located in Central Java Province. There is a problem of a relatively high defect rate, hence improvements are needed. The method used is Six Sigma with a DMAIC approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) and Kaizen with a 5S approach to analyze quality management improvements at the company. The results of this study indicate that there are various types of defects, but the highest defect type is Folding Marks with a defect count of 39,211 yards and closed screen defects of 39,167 yards. The sigma value calculated is 3.24. Additionally, the analysis using Kaizen can be summarized as follows: organizing items that have been used, tidying up materials and tools used, cleaning tools and production areas and conducting a briefing for the employees. Abstract

Abstract PT ABC is one of the companies in the textile industry (clothing) with dyeing, printing, and finishing units located in the Karanganyar area. This study aims to analyze quality control in the Teteron Rayon fabric dyeing production process at PT. ABC using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method. This method involves several statistical tools, namely histograms, Pareto diagrams, P-Chart analysis, and fishbone diagrams. Based on the results of the histogram analysis of defect data over a 12-month period, it was found that the highest defect rate occurred in March 2025 at 20,776 yards. The results of the Pareto analysis showed that the most dominant type of defect was streaks, with a total of 36,602 yards or 19% of the total defects. The p-chart analysis revealed that most of the production results were outside the control limits, with only one production period (February 2025) being within the statistical control limits. Meanwhile, fishbone analysis shows that the main causes of striped defects include lack of operator training, low understanding of grey fabric quality, suboptimal machine maintenance, work methods that do not comply with SOP, and weak supervision of the production process. With this, the company is advised to improve workforce training, improve maintenance systems, and tighten operational supervision to reduce the number of defects and improve product quality.
