Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk menganalisis dan membahas pendekatan struktural dan semiotik pada novel Puputon karya Aam Amilia. Novel tersebut menggambarkan perjalanan Ismet yang penuh dengan nilai-nilai kehidupan yang bisa dijadikan pembelajaran kehidupan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan (1) struktur yang ada dalam novel Puputon karya Aam Amilia yang mencakup tema cerita, fakta cerita (galur, tokoh, dan latar), dan sarana cerita (judul, sudut pandang, dan gaya bahasa); (2) unsur semiotik (ikon, indeks, dan simbol) novel Puputon karya Aam Amilia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif analisis dengan teknik telaah pustaka, analisis data, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitiannya: (1) novel ini memilki tema sosial mengenai perjalanan Ismet. Fakta cerita yang terdapat dalam novel ini di antaranya alur maju, lalu tokoh yang ditemukan terbagi menjadi dua yaitu tokoh utama dan tokoh tambahan, latarnya yaitu latar tempat dan waktu, sedangkan sarana cerita yang ditemukan yaitu judul Puputon yang diambil dari keadaan tokoh utama yaitu Ismet; (2) novel ini memiliki tanda yang mengandung makna, terlihat ada 23 ikon yang mayoritas menunjukkan panggilan sifat, 154 indeks yang mayoritas menunjukkan reaksi keadaan, dan 80 simbol yang mayoritas menunjukkan tanda waktu.

Abstract

This study aims to critically examine the extent to which Islamic family law in Pekanbaru conducted from January to March 2025 empowers women in exercising their right to divorce. Grounded in a socio-legal and gender justice framework, the research explores both formal legal provisions and the lived experiences of Muslim women navigating divorce processes through the Religious Courts. Using a qualitative method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with divorced women, judges, and legal practitioners, and content analysis of relevant legal documents and court decisions. The findings reveal a complex interplay between religious norms, legal structures, and cultural expectations. While Islamic family law formally recognizes women's rights to divorce through mechanisms such as khulʿ and fasakh, bureaucratic hurdles, patriarchal interpretations, and social stigma often limit women's access to these rights in practice. Women who successfully obtained a divorce demonstrated strong legal awareness and support networks, suggesting that empowerment is highly dependent on socio-economic and educational factors. The study discusses the gap between normative Islamic principles that uphold justice and the structural barriers that hinder their realization in practice. It concludes that enhancing women's legal empowerment requires reforming procedural aspects of family law and promoting community-level awareness and gender-sensitive interpretations of Islamic jurisprudence.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the characteristics of women's leadership in the hospitality industry, with a focus on female executives at Industri Perhotelan. The research method used is direct interviews with eight female executives, using a semi-structured interview guide instrument. The results of this study provide an overview that women's leadership in the hospitality industry encompasses not only professional aspects but also personal qualities such as courage, honesty, and creativity. Moreover, female leaders at Industri Perhotelan tend to adopt a democratic leadership style that promotes collaboration and team participation.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate and analyze the Employee Branding strategy that Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills implemented through the #DiversityforALL campaign. Employee Branding has become increasingly crucial in today's business world as it directly impacts a company's image and ability to attract high-quality prospective employees. In this context, the #DiversityforALL campaign was chosen as the research focus to explore how Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills specifically leverages the concept of diversity as a core value in building and strengthening the brand image of their employees. The research methodology involves content analysis of the campaign, in-depth interviews with the HR management of Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills, and surveys involving employee participation. The analysis results indicate that the Employee Branding strategy implemented through the #DiversityforALL campaign has created an inclusive and appealing corporate image for potential employees.

Abstract

The Indonesian media industry has experienced rapid growth, with numerous new television stations emerging. Nusantara TV, as one of these new entrants, faces significant challenges in competing with well-established television stations. The rise of digital media has shifted viewer preferences, with many individuals opting to consume content on platforms like YouTube and social media. In this digital age, the concept of media convergence is vital. Convergence refers to the integration of various media platforms to achieve a common goal. To remain relevant and competitive, Nusantara TV must embrace this concept. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on Nusantara TV's social media platforms, including YouTube and Instagram, as well as its special events. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Nusantara TV has successfully leveraged YouTube and Instagram to create a more interactive and responsive platform for its audience. Additionally, the television station has organized special events, such as Pesona Nusantara, to promote its brand and engage with its audience. In conclusion, Nusantara TV's convergence with social media and the organization of special events have significantly expanded its audience reach, enhanced interaction with viewers, and generated additional revenue.
