Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kualitatif Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa angket, lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan tes kemampuan numerasi untuk mengukur literasi numerasi pada subjek penelitian.Tes kemampuan numerasi, terdiri atas soal cerita sebanyak 10 nomor yang berdasarkan tiga indikator kemampuan numerasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan model Miles dan Huberman. Metode triangulasi digunakan untuk pengujian kevalidan data dengan membandingkan hasil wawancara dan hasil tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek dengan kemampuan awal tinggi mampu menguasai 3 indikator, subjek dengan kemampuan awal sedang menguasai 2 indikator, dan subjek dengan kemampuan awal rendah hanya menguasai 1 indikator. Indikator kemampuan numerasi meliputi penggunaan simbol dan angka matematika dasar, analisis informasi dalam berbagai bentuk, dan interpretasi hasil untuk pengambilan keputusan dalam berbagai konteks kehidupan nyata

Abstract

Pendidikan matematika di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi tantangan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa, terutama pada materi bilangan bulat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL) yang dipadukan dengan penilaian berorientasi Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VI SDN 14 dan SDN 15 Kota Ternate. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimental dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design, yang melibatkan dua kelompok: eksperimen (PBL + HOTS) dan kontrol (pembelajaran konvensional). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen memperoleh nilai posttest yang lebih tinggi dan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Uji ANOVA dua arah juga mengungkapkan interaksi signifikan antara model pembelajaran dan jenis penilaian terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah bahwa kombinasi PBL dan penilaian HOTS dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa, serta mendukung kebijakan pendidikan yang menekankan pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21.

Abstract

In remote areas in Indonesia, there are still gaps in the education that Indonesian children should receive. There are various factors that cause this gap. The aim of writing the article is to analyze critically and in depth the influence of parents' socio-economic status on student learning outcomes in elementary schools. This type of article is written using qualitative research using analytical literature studies and also research related to books, articles, journals, or other relevant sources that are continuous with the title. The conclusion is that good parental socio-economic conditions can improve student learning achievement so that the learning outcomes obtained by students will also be as good as possible. This is because the family has sufficient facilities and infrastructure so that it can support the talents and interests of students. However, in this research it does not rule out the possibility for a person or child not to make efforts to obtain good achievement and learning outcomes for a child who comes from a family with a sufficient socio-economic status. Many of the children come from remote areas to continue to participate in the teaching and learning process as well as possible. This is because they are aware of the importance of their education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the STAD learning model in empowering students' critical thinking and metacognition skills. Furthermore, this research is aimed at finding out differences in critical thinking skills and metacognition of students of different ethnicities related to the learning model applied. This research is classified as a quasi experiment, carried out in the 2022/2023 academic year in class IV at two schools, SDN 14 and SDN 15, Ternate City, which are classified as multiethnic schools in Ternate City. The variables measured in this research are students' critical thinking skills and metacognition. To test the hypothesis, it was carried out with Anakova in the SPSS 16.0 program. If the probability value is significant, then a further test is carried out with LSD. The results of data analysis show that the learning model has an influence on students' critical thinking skills and metacognition and or it can be said that the PBMP pattern learning model has more potential to empower students' critical thinking skills and metacognition than the conventional model. There are differences in students' critical thinking skills between ethnic groups in classes where the STAD learning model is applied. These differences can be seen in the LSD test results which show that the critical thinking skills of the Ternate ethnic group are not significantly different from those of the Makian ethnic group but are significantly different from those of the Tidore ethnic group. These differences can be concluded that students in each ethnicity have different learning styles.
