Abstract

Community service is one of the goals of researcher education in higher education. This service program chose Karangasem Village, Paliyan District, Gunungkidul Regency to provide innovation to develop the potential that exists in the village through a work program carried out by researchers. The method used in this research is observation through the official village website and also with the documentation method through taking pictures and videos because the situation does not allow it to come to the field. The result of this research is that researchers can provide product innovation in the form of corn noodles that can be developed by the village community into a product that is more value-added and can be traded. In addition, it also explores the potentials that exist in the village in the form of nature and culture so that it can be developed. With this program, researchers can apply the knowledge they have learned by providing community service.

Abstract

Community service activities took place in Karangduwet Village, Paliyan, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. Karangduwet village has a variety of village potentials, but the education of the villagers is still low. Therefore, with various discussions and sources, the researchers decided to choose The Textbook and Mapping of Village Potentials as a project that we will develop with the aim of applying understanding of the basic education system and providing an understanding of the potential that can be developed for the people of Karangduwet Village. Data collection techniques used are documentation studies, namely conducting data studies from various sources related to Karangduwet Village. The first result is textbook, that helps for elementary school students who are expected to be able to provide basic introductions that exist in themselves and in the surrounding environment. The result of the village potential mapping work is to provide innovations in various processed products from agricultural potentials as well as the development of Riyaya Kabudayaan Karangduwet.

Abstract

The execution of village development research takes place in Mulusan Village, Gunung Kidul. There were 2 programs that we made: Village’s potential and utilization of natural resources. This research was carried out with the aim to develop villages in Gunung Kidul Regency, this was done to help improve the life quality of the village community from health and economic. This research activity was done by identifying the potential and problems that exist in the community, collecting data from the internet, then doing program design, followed by making ebooks and videos, after that they will be evaluated, then after all of the process are complete making the Final Report. The results from the village’s potential program are proposed programs such as the cultural carnival, jeep offroad area, dance groups, Ngeleng Cave and rice fields. Meanwhile, the utilization of natural resources contains tutorial about cooking healthy food and drink. Mulusan Village can be an attractive destination and has a lot of healthy and has a lot nutritious food ingredients for health.

Abstract

Pampang Village is one of the villages located in Paliyan District, Gunungkidul Regency which has its own uniqueness. The village which has an area of about 371 hectares has various potentials ranging from tourism, culinary, agro-tourism, and the most famous is silver handicraft. Therefore, the aim of the researcher is to develop and find out the various potentials of villages in Pampang Village, Paliyan District, Gunungkidul Regency, especially in the field of silver handicrafts and the development of ecotourism in Pampang Village. The data collection process uses several methods, such as literature study, namely by studying written materials from books, journals, articles, etc., as well as through interviews with resource persons who are around the residence of the research members. The results of this study regarding the potential of this Pampang village show that Pampang Village, Paliyan, Gunungkidul has various potentials that are quite unique compared to other villages in Gunung Kidul Regency.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dan teknologi, kemampuan computational thinking sangat dibutuhkan agar seseorang mampu bersaing di era abad 21 ini.  Kemampuan computational thinking (CT) penting untuk dikenalkan dan diajarkan sedari dini kepada para generasi muda karena dalam computational thinking terkandung 4 komponen utama yaitu abstraksi, algoritma, dekomposisi dan pengenalan pola yang dapat membuat siswa terbiasa untuk berpikir kreatif dan analitis dalam pemecahan masalah. Dari data yang diambil melalui pre test soal CT di SD Pangudi Luhur Yogyakarta didapatkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam CT masih rendah yaitu rata -rata nilai 31. Untuk itu diperlukan program pelatihan  computational thinking bagi para siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis CT untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui 3 tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Dalam tahap pelaksanaan, pembelajaran computational thinking dilakukan secara terpandu dan mandiri menggunakan metode problem based learning. Setelah pelatihan didapatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dimana hasil post test soal computational thinking memiliki rata-rata nilai 75. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang dilakukan berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan computational thinking siswa.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is a study that links culture with mathematics. Ethnomathematics can bridge students' learning difficulties in understanding mathematics. Ethnomathematics objects can be found around the environment, for example, pottery. This research aims to find mathematical elements in the typical Kulon Progo pottery culture so that it can be used to facilitate understanding of the concept of integral calculus, precisely the volume of a solid of revolution. This research is qualitative descriptive research with an ethnographic approach. The subjects of this research are pottery craftsmen in Bumirejo village, Lendah, Kulon Progo. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews. Next, literature studies and data analysis were carried out to conclude. The research results found that pottery crafts in the form of mortars, jars, cauldrons, and flowerpots can be linked to learning the volume of rotating objects through rotating curves that resemble the shape of the pottery crafts. Hopefully, this research can help educators find fun learning alternatives and increase students' understanding of integral material. Keywords: ethnomathematics, pottery crafts, integral

Abstract

Mathematics is a basic science that is always related to other sciences. Many people think of mathematics as a science requiring more effort. Ethnomathematics, as a scientific study, can bridge the gap between mathematics, culture, and life. Through ethnomathematics, it becomes easier for students to learn mathematics. This paper involves a mathematical exploration of eceng gondok crafts. Eceng gondok is one of the main ingredients for handicrafts in great demand by people at home and abroad. The primary objective of this research is to explore the mathematical elements in eceng gondok crafts. Teachers and students can use the results of this study as a learning medium to facilitate understanding in learning some mathematical material. This research follows qualitative descriptive research with an ethnographic focus. This study used observation and interviews with one of the eceng gondok craft industry owners in collecting data. Data analysis from this research was conducted inductively through four activities: collecting, reducing, categorizing, and drawing conclusions. The results found that this eceng gondok craft contained many mathematical elements, including geometric concepts, calculus concepts, and a system of linear equations in three variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi Bebras Biro Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) berbasis web guna mendukung pelaksanaan tugas biro, seperti pendaftaran peserta, manajemen challenge, distribusi sertifikat, dan publikasi informasi. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Waterfall, yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi menggunakan Laravel dan TailwindCSS, serta pengujian sistem. Setelah pengembangan sistem selesai dilakukan, sistem juga diuji menggunakan instrumen USE Questionnaire untuk mengevaluasi aspek usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, dan satisfaction. Hasil pengujian terhadap 44 responden menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai kelayakan keseluruhan sebesar 85,51%, yang termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat Layak". Sistem ini dinilai efektif dalam mendukung proses administrasi biro Bebras UAJY, mudah dipelajari, serta memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang positif. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi berhasil memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna, meskipun pengembangan lebih lanjut tetap disarankan, terutama pada desain antarmuka dan fitur tambahan seperti unggah data pendaftaran.
