Abstract

This education research aims to investigate the difference learning outcomes of the students taught using cooperative learning model NHT type and conventional type on physics subject of SMP Negeri 2 Poso, find out the different result of students with high beginning ability and those have low ability on physics, and find out whether any or not interaction of learning model and beginning ability of the students learning outcomes on physics. The Population was 130 students of the eighth grade. The research sample consisting of class VIIIA and VIIIB. Design used was factorial 2 x 2. The data were collected through thinking ability and learning achievement test. The data were analyzed by using ANOVA two ways. The result indicates that there was difference of learning outcomes of students taught cooperative learning NHT type from those taught conventional method (p-value < 0,05), different learning outcomes of the students with high beginning ability and those with low beginning ability (p-value < 0,05), no interaction between learning model and beginning ability toward the students learning outcomes (p-value > 0,05) that means the students with high beginning ability will be better their learning outcomes than those with low beginning ability of cooperative learning model NHT type or conventional learning

Abstract

This writing is classroom action research that is intended to increase students ability in reading poetry usingmodelling technique of students class X2 of SMA Negeri I Lilirilau. Specifically, the aim of this writing is todescribe planning, performing, and learning assessment. Result of research shows that modelling technique inlearning to read poetry can increase students class X2 ability of SMA Negeri I in planning, performing, andassessment level. The ability of reading poetry by paying attention to the pronunciation, tone, stres, andintonation based on the research is in the pre-action only 16,66 % who passes learning completely, circle 159,38% student that passes learning completely, circle II the percentage achieves 80,64 %, and circle III studentsability achieves 96,77 %. AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang bertujuan untukmeningkatkan kemampuan membaca puisi melalui teknik pemodelan pada siswa kelas X2 SMANegeri 1 Lilirilau. Secara khusus tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikanperencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwateknik pemodelan dalam pembelajaran membaca puisi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswakelas X2 SMA Negeri 1 Lilirilau pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penilaiankemampuan ditemukan hasil analisis tes kemampuan membaca puisi dengan memperhatikanlafal, nada, tekanan, dan intonasi menunjukan bahwa pada tahap pratindakan hanya 16,66%yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar, siklus I 59,38% siswa yang mengalami ketuntasan belajar,pada siklus II mencapai 80,64%, dan pada siklus III kemampuan siswa mencapai 96,77%.

Abstract

This paper aims at describing grammatical cohesion in Torajanese prose focused on the analysis included references and substitutions. Results of this study are expected to be useful theoretically and practically. Theoretically, the results of this study are expected to strengthen and give more specific information, detail, and depth about cohesion in Torajanese language. In practical terms, the results of this study are expected to be useful for the development and and teachin literature that is considered relevant. In this paper qualitative descriptive method is used to describe or analyze the data of how grammatical cohesion in Torajanese prose is. Data collection techniques include reading, recording, and selecting. Result of analysis finds out that cohesion tool used is reference ta ‘that’, iatu ‘that’, and iate ‘this’, as well as substitution is ia ‘she/he/it’, iko ‘you’, -na ‘her/his/it’, and inde ‘here .

Abstract

Critical Discourse Analysis is applied theory to analyze literary work like short story. In theory of Van Dijk, object observed is superstructure, macro structure and microstructure. Based on data analysis, found description that superstructure supporting macrostructure is central theme which is found in initial, middle, and final story, whilst, microstructure observed is metaphor, personification and performance of the actor having cultural ideology. Cinta di Atas Perahu Cadik  is the description about to dishonesty that happen Seven though the character involved has  his/her own couple. Metaphor and personifacation usually found  is sweeping the beach, rolling  wave play love, rolling caused by thrown away the waves, shifting the edge of beach, loving passionately implying ideology about controversion meaning of dishonesty  in the other side it also has an ideology about the power of love. Thus, it is found the descriptin that Van Dijk can describe the message wished and the character of the author. Abstrak  Analisis wacana kritis (AWK) adalah salah satu piranti kajian wacana yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis. Karya sastra cerpen, dalam kajian teori  Van Dijk, yang diamati adalah superstruktur, struktur makro, dan struktur mikro. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh gambaran bahwa superstruktur yang mendukung struktur makro adalah terciptanya tema sentral yang diperoleh dari awal, tengah, dan akhir cerita, sedangkan struktur mikro yang diamati adalah metafora, personifikasi, dan tampilan aktor yang masing-masing memiliki ideologi kultural. Cinta di Atas Perahu Cadik merupakan penggambaran akan keadaan masa kini tentang banyaknya perselingkuhan yang terjadi meskipun telah memiliki pasangan masing-masing. Penciptaan metafora dan personifikasi yang sering muncul adalah, menyapu pantai, lidah-lidah ombak bermain cinta, menggelinding dilemparkan ombak, menggeser bibir pantai, cinta membara mengandung ideologi tentang kontroversi makna perselingkuhan di masyarakat,  di sisi lain juga mengideologikan tentang kekuatan cinta yang dimilikinya. Dengan demikian diperoleh gambaran bahwa kajian Van Dijk dapat memerikan apa pesan yang dinginkan dan bagaimana  karakter pengarang karya sastra tersebut.
