Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model with image media on poetry writing skills in grade IV students of SD Negeri Tombolo, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. This type of research is a pre-experiment with a One-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection uses a test instrument. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The subjects in this study were 20 grade IV students of SD Negeri Tombolo, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. The results showed that the application of the discovery learning model using image media had an effect on poetry writing skills as seen from the comparison of pretest and posttest scores. pre-test results, the average value of student learning outcomes 59 very poor, namely 0.00%, less 20%, sufficient 60%, good 20%, and very good 0%, while the average value of the post-test results was 82.7. In addition, the t-test calculation was also obtained at 11.72. With a frequency (df) of 20 - 2 = 18, at a significance level of 0.05, ttable = 1.73 is obtained. Therefore, tcount>ttable at a significance level of 0.05. It can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model using picture media in grade IV students of Tombolo Elementary School has an effect on poetry writing skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman melalui Teknik Permainan Bahasa Siswa Kelas IV SD Inpres Andi Tonro Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaa, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan yang tuntas secara individual dari 22 siswa terdapat 15 siswa atau 68% telah lulus jika bandingkan dengan kondisi awal yang hanya 10 siswa atau 45% siswa yang lulus. Secara klasikal cukup terpenuhi karena nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 76. Sedangkan pada siklus II dimana dari 22 siswa terdapat 20 siswa atau 91% telah memenuhi (KKM) dan secara klasik sudah terpenuhi nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 83,7 atau berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning model on the scientific literacy abilities of class IV students at SD Negeri Tetebatu 1 Kabupaten Gowa Regency. This research uses quantitative research methods using True- experimental. The population in this study were all class IV students, the sample with a total of 28 students. The sampling method in this research used a saturated sampling technique. The results of the research show that the average score obtained by students in the pre-test class IV 76.15 which was in the sufficient category and the average score obtained by students in the post-test score in Class IV was 88.08 which was in the category Good. The results show that the use of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the scientific literacy skills of class IV. The results of data analysis obtained a sig value. 0,000. It turns out that the sig value. 0.000 is smaller than the probability value of 0.05 or in other words the value 0.05 > 0.000. So it can be concluded that, there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on the scientific literacy abilities of class IV at SD Negeri Tetebatu 1 Kab. Gowa Regency.
