Abstract

To date many Information Technology Companies in Indonesia implement Scrum Framework which is one of the frameworks that uses Agile principles.  The implementation of the Scrum Framework does not guarantee that these companies will be free from risk, since many risks will also appear during the implementation of the framework itself.  Therefore, risk management strategies are needed to mitigate these risks.  This research is a qualitative research to manage risk due to the implementation of Scrum Framework in software development of IT companies, especially in Indonesia.  Interviews have been conducted to the Scrum stakeholders in three IT Companies to gather some initial data to be analyzed further using Qualitative Content Analysis Method and Risk Breakdown Structure.  Our finding show that there is 17 Risk Registers and their Mitigation Strategies for the implementation of Scrum Framework in Indonesian IT Companies. Furthermore, it can be used as guidelines for decision making about whether to implement this framework in their core businesses.

Abstract

Online learning has revolutionized education by offering a flexible platform that transcends geographical boundaries and time constraints. It provides various multimedia resources, interactive exercises, and personalized feedback, enhancing the learning experience. However, online classes have challenges, such as decreased student engagement, technical issues, and a lack of structure, leading to procrastination and decreased productivity. This research aims to delve into the level of satisfaction experienced by talented high school students in terms of their virtual classroom experience. The study was conducted through an online survey using purposive and convenient sampling techniques. The data analysis showed that most students expressed satisfaction with the online classes, indicating that they found them informative, engaging, and meaningful. However, a few minor adjustments could be made to enhance students' experience, such as more opportunities for interactive participation, additional resources, and more precise instructions. Overall, the research highlights the positive impact of online education on the learning experience of gifted high school students.

Abstract

Smart farming, one of the most rapidly growing technologies in the agriculture sector in the midst of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, signifies the integration of technologies into the industry. Numerous challenges of the agriculture sector were able to be decoded and formulated efficiently. Over the past few years, research on smart farming has grown expeditiously, observing in every different cornerstone of the sector. The main objective of this study is to investigate into the smart farming technology adoption exogenous factors through the lens of a scoping review. Selections of article from several different sources, published between 2010 and 2024 with specific keywords were thoroughly observed. Valuable information was identified and discussed, particularly the positively and negatively factors influencing the adoption of smart farming. The study serves as a bedrock for an upcoming study in the smart farming technology adoption.
