Abstract

The globe has been stunned since the end of 2019 by the emergence of the COVID-19 virus, which spreads extremely swiftly. Indonesia revealed two positive instances of COVID-19 in early March, beginning with the nation of origin, the People's Republic of China. The epidemic of COVID-19 poses a threat to the Indonesian state. The government has taken numerous measures to prevent and control the spread of this virus, including regulating activities, maintaining a safe distance, wearing masks, and washing hands, as well as producing vaccinations. The government is undertaking this effort as a sort of state defense in the fight against COVID-19. This research establishes that COVID-19 is a social disaster that affects people from all walks of life and that one option for containing the Covid-19 outbreak is for the public to participate in the vaccination campaign planned by the authorities as a form of state defense.

Abstract

Health development is a part of national development. In health development, the goal to be achieved is to increase the optimal level of public health. The principle of public healthcare prioritizes promotive and preventive services. Promotive services are efforts to improve public health for the better. While preventive services are efforts to prevent people from getting a disease. Health insurance applies to every individual (citizen), which should be the obligation of the state to fulfil it without distinguishing one citizen from another. The process of healthcare cannot be separated from health financing. Health costs are the number of funds provided to organize and/or utilize various health efforts needed by individuals, families, groups and communities. Strong, stable and sustainable health financing plays a very important role in the implementation of healthcare in order to achieve various goals of health development in a country. It includes the equal distribution of healthcare and access (equitable access to health care) and quality services (assured quality). This study used a research methodology that reviewed normative juridical carried out by a synthetic study. The deductive conclusions from statements in data sources such as library materials included journals, books, documents, and literature or secondary law such as laws, legal theories, court decisions, expert opinions that are relevant and related to the discussion in this journal. This study was a prescriptive-analytical study in which data synthesis, discussion and conclusions were analyzed qualitatively.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a very serious problem in 2020, claiming millions of lives. One issue is the rapid spread rate and the large number of infected groups without clinical symptoms and has the potential to become a source of spread for other people. One way to prevent the spread of covid-19 is disciplined awareness of conducting self-isolation for infected groups. This research discusses self-isolation awareness as a form of state defense during Covid-19. This research is a literature review study that uses 3 types of approaches to discuss social issues, namely status approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. The results of this study reveal that we are only urged to stop the spread of this virus, with government appeals, by participating in defending the country without taking up arms, we can fulfill our role as good citizens. As described above, State defense is adjusted to current community conditions, e.g. in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. At this time, state defense updating is not just staying at home, but still productive with our home system work as usual. The government has issued various policies, including studying at home, working from home, and praying at home. Following the government's recommendation is actually a form of state defense to defend the country as a form of our love for Indonesia

Abstract

In Indonesia, the COVID-19 pandemic is entering a critical period. Health workers are a profession that is on the cutting edge of the fight against COVID-19. In these circumstances, health workers may have to put their lives on the line to safeguard the public from the development of the COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion's findings suggest that the legal protection of health workers' workplace safety as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak has not been properly applied, as required by law. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the rights of health professionals were still being ignored and not being met. As a result, the worldwide government's role and obligations are required to ensure that health professionals' rights as frontline responders to the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia are respected. However, in fact, misunderstandings that lead to mediation are still common in the sphere of injustice, as are cases-certain bad cases 2 that could result in a repeat of events since there is no protective force or penalty that would prevent a person from behaving as a victim. In this study, the legal method adopted was normative legal research. The findings reveal that medical personnel's legal protection and right to safety have been regulated by legislation. These provisions, on the other hand, do not address the possible consequences of the COVID-19 virus spreading.

Abstract

A common health problem in elderly skin is dryness and itchiness. This influences the quality of life of the elderly. This study aimed to determine changes in the quality of life of the elderly holistically after an intervention to increase skin hydration. The study was conducted at STW RIA Pembangunan Orphanage in Cibubur in September 2019. This study used a quasi-experimental approach and used a WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire. This instrument was used to determine the quality of life, covering four domains such as physical health, psychology, social relations and the environment. Paired T-Test was used as statistical analysis with Wilcoxon as an alternative test. Results showed significant changes in the results of 13 out of 26 questions in WHOQOL-BREF after interventions (Q1, Q2, Q10, Q15, Q16, Q5, Q6, Q11, Q19, Q26, Q23, and Q24) at a p-value <0.05. The present study also observed an increase in all WHOQOL-BREF domain values (p-value <0.05). It can be concluded that there were significant changes in the total value in all domains between before and after interventions to increase skin hydration status (p-value <0.05).
