Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in cultivating social caring character among junior high school students. This research uses a qualitative approach by producing descriptive data. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that PAI teachers at Al-Hidayah Middle School in Medan foster students' social caring character through providing motivation, input and positive direction for the students' future. Obstacles faced include limited time, lack of student discipline, and low student motivation. To overcome these obstacles, PAI teachers collaborate with other subject teachers to provide role models and teaching that strengthens the character of social care, both in the school environment and outside of school. Apart from that, teachers also play an active role in motivating students to improve their social care character. The impact of this research shows the importance of the strategic role of PAI teachers in forming students' characters who care more about each other, so that they can create a school environment that is more inclusive, harmonious, and supports the formation of a young generation who has high social awareness. These findings can be a guide for other schools in designing learning programs that are integrated with strengthening social care characters.

Abstract

The research aims to explore the process of strengthening akhlak tasawuf material in akidah akhlak subjects in madrasah. The research utilized a library research method involving the stages of collecting, reviewing, and analyzing existing relevant literature pertaining to the topic. The data analysis procedure was conducted by evaluating and synthesizing research data, which could either support or oppose the initial argument. Through conducting a literature synthesis, the researcher compiled a comprehensive picture of the pattern of strengthening akhlak tasawuf, highlighting key findings, and identifying trends that emerged from existing literature. The results of the research show that strengthening akhlak tasawuf in akidah akhlak subjects can be done by adding material on akhlak tasawuf, providing space for students to engage in contemplation in the form of collective remembrance, involving parents to apply akhlak tasawuf values ​​in the family environment and conducting regular evaluations. Providing space for collective remembrance will refine students' feelings in understanding the moral teachings of tasawuf. Contemplation for students will help in correcting wrong morals. Involving parents will strengthen the akhlak tasawuf values ​​that have been instilled. Evaluation is useful for finding out programs that need to be strengthened.

Abstract

The real work study is a form of student service to the environment and society in order to apply the principles of the tri darma of higher education, namely education, research and community service. Therefore, students carry out KKN in Jaharun B village for 30 days. The implementation of KKN in Jaharun B Village aims to empower the community and develop human resource capacity in the field of education, which is compiled and implemented in several work programs. This article discusses the contribution of North Sumatra State Islamic University students in order to improve the quality of education in Jaharun B Village. There are several work programs carried out by KKN participants, namely Maghrib Mengaji, Tutoring, Teaching in schools, Anti-bullying Socialization and digital literacy and other work programs. This article is a qualitative article with data collection methods, namely interviews and observational studies. The results showed that there was an increase in education in Jaharun B Village which was marked by increased motivation and learning outcomes for village children.

Abstract

Pergaulan bebas merupakan salah satu bentuk perilaku menyimpang dari norma agama dan sosial yang sering dihadapi disetiap jenjang lembaga pendidikan. Namun, pada kenyatannya masih terdapat banyak guru yang belum bisa memberikan upaya dalam mencegah pergaulan bebas tersebut. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya guru PAI dalam mencegah pergaulan bebas, tepatnya di SMP Swasta Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan: reduksi data, visualisasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI sudah memberikan upaya-upaya untuk mencegah para siswa terjerumus kedalam pergaulan bebas. Upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menanggulangi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan melakukan pendekatan individual dan bekerja sama dengan pengajar dan konselor, memberikan arahan tentang pentingnya kehidupan yang damai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, tidak berperang satu sama lain dengan menanamkan empati dan keragaman sosial, memberikan sanksi bagi siswa yang merokok, bolos dan yang berkelahi. Selain itu, upaya seperti sholat berjamaah, mengaji dan menulis Al-Qur`an serta saling menghormati satu sama lain selalu dilakukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
