Abstract

Background: School-based nutrition intervent­ion is recommended as one of the public health strategies in supporting the development of healthy diet behaviour for school-age children. It is in line with Global Action Plan 2013-2020 of World Health Organization (WHO) in preventing and controlling double burden of disease as a consequence of non-communicable disease in the future. This study aims to identify the kind of comprehensive school-based nutrition inter­vention and analyze effectiveness of every study in improving policy implementation of healthy school canteen.Subjects and Method: This systematic review study was conducted from two electronic data­bases, namely Scopus and ProQuest with keywords of "school nutritional policy", "compre­hensive intervention", and "healthy canteen" to search relevant publication in English and have open access published from 2015 to 2020.Results: From total 1.367 of publications, 9 arti­cles meet inclusion criteria. Based on evaluation of those studies with comprehensive or multi-component intervention to healthy school canteen policy, the common elements show that regular monitoring and feedback with executive and community support can show improvement of school adherence to policy implementation.Conclusion: This study found that a compre­hensive school-based nutrition intervention was effective in improving the implementation of healthy school canteen policy.Keywords: nutrition intervention, healthy canteen, policy implementationCorrespondence: Sarah At Tauhidah. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the six countries with a high burden of TB and HIV. The prevalence of TB-HIV cases at all ages is as much as 4.9%; The study aimed to provide an assessment of PITC implementation in high coverage and low coverage in HIV detection among TB patients. This study descriptive, analytic, cross-sectional with the consecutive sampling method. Data used in this research was secondary data collected from January until December 2017 conducted in 5 of the 23 cities with a high burden of TB-HIV. Using a routine reporting system by primary health care and regional health service in the district. The total sample size included TB patients registered in 5 cities 16.097 patients, 8022 patients (2.365 from low PITC, 5657 from high PITC) TB patients who had received the PITC program of this 3,5% were HIV positive. Additionally, was detected by percentage among TB patients in the high-coverage PITC area compared to in the low-coverage PITC area was 4.3:2.6. Male patients had a double risk of having HIV-positive results compared to female patients. Furthermore, the analysis also showed that productive age patients are more likely to have HIV infection compared to other age groups. Male sex aged 26 to 36 years 78-94% of them were at risk of having HIV infection. The implementation of PITC in countries with high TB ​​/ HIV burden has shown an increase in TB-HIV patient detection but still needs to be followed by ARV treatment to reduce mortality.

Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to various impacts on public health, one of which is the mental health of medical students who are recognized as an at-risk group for developing anxiety disorders due to the teaching and learning system that has changed dramatically. This study aimed to assess the relationship between teaching and learning-related stressor (TLRS) and their anxiety levels during the COVID-19 pandemic.Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional study. The population was medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, Indonesia, during September-October 2021. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling. The dependent variable was anxiety levels during the COVID-19 pandemic. The independent variable was teaching and learning-related stressor based on Medical Student Stressor Questionnaire (MSSQ) instrument. The data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed by Cox proportional regression.Results: A half of medical students experienced anxiety (50.4%), but the data shows a non-significant difference when controlled with other stressor variables (Adjusted PR= 1.485; 95% CI= 0.71 to 2.97; p= 0.300).Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between teaching and learning-related stressor and anxiety level among Medical Students during COVID-19 pandemic.Keywords: mental health, anxiety, stressor, COVID-19, medical studentsCorrespondence:Helda.
