Abstract

Untuk menghemat pengeluaran, manajemen persediaan dioptimalkan dengan memilih lot size, terkait dengan penentuan jumlah pesanan yang perlu dipesan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan supply dan demand agar persediaan tidak kekurangan persediaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengendalian persediaan air mineral dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dan penerapan metode tersebut di UD. Darman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun frekuensi pembelian yang optimal air mineral AQUA Botol 600 ml sebesar 81 kali per 13 bulan atau sekitar 6 kali per bulan dan air mineral AQUA Botol 1.500 ml sebesar 55 kali per tahun atau sekitar 4 kali per bulan. Menurut metode EOQ perusahaan harus mengadakan persediaan pengaman sebesar 11.886 karton untuk botol AQUA ukuran 600 ml dan sebesar 2.947 karton untuk botol AQUA ukuran 1500 ml.

Abstract

Competition in the business world, especially land transportation equipment, is currently getting tighter with its use in people's lives, one of which is motorbikes. Its use is very easy and very helpful in everyday life, causing many people to be interested in it. This research aims to determine competitive strategies in motorbike product competition by applying mathematical methods, namely Game Theory. The research results obtained show competition between Honda motorbike products and Yamaha motorbike products with Honda's optimal strategy being product quality, while the optimal strategy for Yamaha motorbike products to compete with Honda motorbike products is model and spare parts.

Abstract

The rapid growth of startups in Medan City highlights the need for data-driven approaches to understanding digital entrepreneurship dynamics. This study aims to apply the Autoregressive (AR) model to predict startup growth trends in Medan using historical data from 2016 to 2024. The method employed is time series analysis with a first-order AR(1) model, utilizing secondary data from the Investment and Licensing Agency of North Sumatra Province. The findings indicate a significant increase in startup numbers since 2022, with projections suggesting continued growth to 127 startups by 2030. The AR model proves to offer a simple yet accurate forecasting framework, making it a valuable tool for strategic planning. These results have important implications for policymakers, investors, and entrepreneurs in designing sustainable startup development strategies in urban areas.
