Abstract

This paper discusses the role of parents in controlling the use of devices in elementary school children. This paper aims to find out more about how to use devices in elementary school children and how the role of parents in controlling devices in elementary school children. The author uses qualitative research methods where this method aims to provide a complete and in-depth picture of social reality and various phenomena that occur in the community that is the subject of research so as to form the characteristics, character traits and models of these phenomena. Data Collection Techniques Using: observation, documentation. Then data analysis of descriptive analysis methods was carried out to draw conclusions from the role of parents in controlling the use of devices in elementary school children. The results of the study found that the phenomenon of children addicted to devices has been increasingly visible in the last five years. Therefore, therefore how important is the role of parents in controlling, guiding and limiting the use of elementary school children's devices. In addition, parents can also provide strict supervision, provide time limits, provide education about digital, be open in communicating with children and provide good examples. With good roles and responsibilities from parents, the use of devices in elementary school children can be a useful tool for education and entertainment, while still prioritizing children's welfare and development in an increasingly complex digital world.

Abstract

This article discusses religious moderation in the millennial era. The purpose of this article is to add insight into the understanding, application, and impact of religious moderation in the millennial era. The author uses a qualitative research method that aims to provide a complete and comprehensive description of social reality and various phenomena of the object of research that occur in society, thus forming the characteristics, characters, and models of these phenomena. Data collection techniques: observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was then carried out with descriptive analytical methods to draw conclusions about religious moderation in the millennial era. The results showed that 1. The level of understanding and application of the concept of religious moderation in the millennial era has not fully understood the meaning and concept of religious moderation. However, they have been able to apply or implement religious moderation in their daily lives. 2. The impact of technological developments and social media on religious moderation in the millennial era, almost all millennials have understood the positive and negative impacts of using technology and social media on religious moderation.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low reading ability of elementary school students, which has an impact on their difficulties in understanding learning materials and on the development of early literacy skills. Among 20 first-grade students at SDI Bandar Kidul, Kediri City, 10 students are not yet fluent in reading, 7 students experience difficulties in reading, and 3 students are unable to read at all. This condition highlights the need for learning guidance (tutoring) as one of the possible solutions. The research problems addressed in this study are how learning guidance influences the reading development of first-grade students at SDI Bandar Kidul, Kediri City, and to what extent this influence contributes to improving students’ reading abilities. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the effect of learning guidance on the reading development of first-grade students at SDI Bandar Kidul, Kediri City, and to measure the extent of its contribution in helping students improve letter recognition, syllable decoding, reading words and simple sentences, as well as enhancing students’ self-confidence.
