Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas melukis terhadap kecerdasan emosional remaja. Variabel dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu variabel bebasnya adalah aktivitas melukis dan variabel terikatnya adalah kecerdasan emosional. Pengujian hipotesis untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan melukis terhadap kecerdasan emosional pada remaja menggunakan analisis simple linier regression, sedangkan perhitungannya dilakukan dengan bantuan program komputer SPSS 15. For windows release . Subyek penelitian yaitu semua mahasiswa prodi seni murni Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta yang masih aktif. Data yang dikumpulkan sebanyak 63 mahasiswa. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala intensitas aktivitas melukis dan skala kecerdasan emosional. Hasil Penelitian Berdasarkan analisis regresi yang dilakukan antara aktivitas melukis dengan kecerdasan emosional pada remaja diperoleh R = 0,386 ( positif) dengan p = 0,00 2 (p<0,05) . Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara intensitas dari melukis dengan kecerdasan emosional remaja. Sedangkan R 2 = 0,149 artinya sumbangan efektif aktivitas melukis terhadap kecerdasan emosional remaja sebesar 14,9 % , terdapat 85,1% variabel lain yang mempengaruhi kecerdasan emosional pada remaja. Uji linearitas menunjukkan kedua variabel linier dengan F = 10,653 Nilai F hitung > 4, dan p = 0,000 dan hasil ini juga diartikan bahwa model cukup baik yaitu pemilihan variabel aktivitas melukis sudah benar.

Abstract

This research aims to learn the correlation between painting activities and psychological needs of theteens. There are two variables in this research covering painting activities as the independent variableand psychological needs as the dependent variable. The correlation technique of Product MomentPearson is used to know the correlation between painting activities and the psychological needsof the teens, while the calculation uses the computer program SPSS 15 for windows release. Subjectof this research is all active students of the Pure Fine Arts Department in Institut Seni IndonesiaSurakarta. All data that is collected covers 61 subjects. The measuring instrument used is the intensityscale of painting activities and the scale of psychological needs. The result of this research showsthe coefficient correlation (rxy = 0,746; p = 0.000), it means that there is a significant correlationbetween the painting activities and the psychological needs to the teens. Meanwhile, the determinationcoefficient of the correlation is R2 is 0,556. It means that the painting activities give the effectivecontribution to the psychological needs to the teens as much as 55,6 % while the rest of 44,6 % isdetermined by other variables.Keywords: painting activities, psychological needs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how to develop children’s creativitiesthrough drawing. This type of research is qualitative. The source of data in this study includes the children’s works, many literatures related to the research, documents, data collection techniques used in the study of literature,observation, and documentation. Results of the study are several ways to develop the children’s creativitiesthrough drawing. They include enriching children’s abilities in drawing, drawing freely, coloring by mixing a variety of medium, providing various facilities to draw, being creative every day,drawing while playing, drawing while storytelling, creative holidays, parental involvement. Some of the techniques describe efforts to develop the children’s creativitiesthrough drawing. This study emphasizes on the development of children’s creativities rather than emphasizing on the skill in drawing. Drawing activity gives more attention to the process than the results. It is important to make the children relaxwithout coercion from others when theyare drawing,so that the resulted image is very unique and naturally suitable to their expressive soul.Keywords: drawing, developing creativity

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus is still spreading throughout the world.  In fact, many are worried about being exposed to this virus, especially the elderly.  Anxious feelings due to excessive Covid-19 will lower his immunity.  Over time, this anxiety disorder can get worse and interfere with the sufferer's quality of life, therefore anxiety needs to be managed.  One way to deal with anxiety is through art therapy.Art therapy used in this study is through drawing and fruit creation, where the media used for art therapy is in accordance with the one chosen by the participants.  This study used a qualitative analysis based on: Self Report (Interview and Anxiety Scale using the measurement of anxiety levels using the TMAS (Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale) instrument compiled and developed by Tylor, given three times, namely (pretest, posttest and follow up).  Ratiing By other, and Observation (Re-checting). The results of this study indicate a change in anxiety levels before and after the intervention.  Evidence obtained from the four participants shows a change in the total value of anxiety.  Thus, art therapy has been shown to reduce anxiety in the elderly due to the Covid-19 pandemicKeywords: Art therapy, Anxiety Disorders and Covid-19

Abstract

Batik is one of the world heritage that was had the Indonesian nation and it is essential to be introduced to the younger generation. Batik is a technique of drawing, painting, or providing color on cloth to get a certain pattern and it was given color with tutup celup system. The process of batik is very detail, the procedure consist of Nglowong, nembok, medel, ngerok, bironi, ntogo, sag, washing, and pressing. The process of making batik so requires patience and precision to achieve optimal results. Batik activities are conducted continuously with direct or indirect that will affect the person's character. Character is influenced by environment such as social values​​, experience and education. Batik activities that were taught for children both in the school and the family will be very influential in the formation of the child character. Children are trained to be patient, thorough, and independent. Besides, it also helps children to learn more about own nation culture , then it can strengthen the nation character and it  is as bastion of global culture influences. Key words: Batik, Cultural Velue, national character

Abstract

Positive activities is necessary for teenagers to channel emotions, great . One of theactivities that can be selected is a credible form of painting . Some teens find it easier toexpress what is in themselves through graffiti , through activities such as painting .Painting is a positive activity for youth as an alternative activity to give him the freedomto express all emotions . This activity is very useful for young people to exerciseresponsibility and independence , which in turn is able to recognize her youth and theenvironment , in other words painting can foster emotional intelligence in adolescents.Emotional intelligence is the ability of individuals to recognize their emotions and theemotions of others and have the ability to channel his emotions appropriately , able tomotivate yourself , resilience in the face of failure , delay gratification and able to set themood . Painting could be interpreted as an expression of an expression of a statementof intent aimed feelings or thoughts or communicated to others . Feelings can becommunicated properly it will make teens become more in control of himself and theenvironment dengann able beriinteraksi good way.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The object under study is the aesthetic value of the art of calligraphy Saiful Adnan. The author uses the techniques of data collection through literature review, observation, and interviews. The validity of the data using triangulation of data by utilizing the data sources and review interviews that have been conducted.Analysis of the data used are data reduction, data presentation, inference, and interpretation of data. To explain the aesthetics of painting calligraphy Saiful Adnan using interpretation approach Susanne K. Langer's aesthetic theory. The results of the study explained that, the character of the Arabic calligraphy art kaligarfi Adnan Saiful different from raw calligraphy character has evolved over the years. The character is known as khatkaligarfiSyaifuly. Calligraphy character formation through several internal and external factors. Internal factors include environmental factors Adnan Saiful place of origin, education factors, and spiritual factors. The external factors include factors phenomena that occur in the community and form factors of artistic calligraphy. The process has led to the formation of the character of the aesthetic value of the art of calligraphy Saiful Adnan symbolic color, shape, composition, and verses from the Qur'an with the meaning of the beauty of Islamic values in each painting calligraphySaiful Adnan. Keywords: Aesthetics, painting calligraphy, Saiful Adnan, Syaifuly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Intensitas kegiatan membatik terhadap kecerdasan emosional remaja. Ada dua variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu Intensitas kegiatan membatik sebagai variabel bebas dan kecerdasan emotional sebagai variabel tergantung. Uji Hipotesa untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara Intensitas kegiatan membatik dengan kecerdasan emotional  remaja menggunakan analisis simple linear regression, sedangkan penghitungannya dilakukan dengan bantuan program komputer SPSS 16. for windows release.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalalah seluruh mahasiswa Seni Batik Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta yang masih aktif. Data yang terkumpul dalam ada 47 Subjek. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala intensitas kegiatan melukis dan skala kecerdasan emotional.  Hasil penelitian Berdasarkan analisis regresi yang dilakukan antara Intensitas kegiatan membatik dengan kecerdasan emotional remaja maka diperoleh, R = 0,552 (positif) dengan p = 0.000 (p<0,05). Hasil ini menunjukkan ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara intensitas kegiatan membatik dengan kecerdasan emotional pada remaja. SeorangRemajasemakinbanyakmeluangkan waktunya untuk melakukan kegiatan membatik semakin menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosionalnya. Karena dalam melakukan kegiatan membatik, remaja dilatih kesabaran dan ketelitian untuk mendapatkan hasil yang bagus, hal ini yang mampu menumbuhkan kecerdasan remaja. Sedangkan R2 = 0.305 artinya sumbangan efektif intensitas kegiatan membatik terhadap kecerdasan emotional remaja sebesar 30,5 %.  Uji linearitas menunjukkan kedua variabel linear dengan F = 19,733 Nilai F hitung > 4, dan p = 0,000 dan hasil ini juga diartikan bahwa model cukup baik yaitu pemilihan variabel intensitas kegiatan membatik sudah tepat Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan Emosional Remaja, Intensitas Kegiatan Membatik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pelatihan membatik terhadap perilaku agresif anak. Penelitian ini dirancang sebagai penelitian lapangan yang bersifat kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam pemelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen melalui Pengamatan. yaitu membandingkan keadaan perilaku agresif anak sebelum dan sesudah perlakuanSubyek dalam penelitiain ini adalah anak usia 10 Tahun, Penelitian ini menggunakan skala psikologi untuk mengumpulkan data. Skala yang digunakan penlitian ini adalah skala agresivitas. Skala agresivitas diberikan kepada anak untuk mengukur tingkat agresivitas anak sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada penurunan perlilaku agresif pada anak sebelum dan sesudah anak diberi perlakuan yaitu pelatihan membatik. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa membatik mampu menurunkan perilaku agresif pada anak, melalui pengamatan perilaku yang baik, kognitif dan katarsis. Hal ini terlihat pada proses membatik dari mendesain gambar, mencanting, mewarnai atau mencolek, melorod hingga menjadi sebuah produk batik. Saat melakukan tahapan-tahapan membatik tersebut anak mampu mengekspresikan keinginannya, karena anak dibiarkan bebas berekspresi sesuai dengan yang diinginkan hal ini melatih anak menumbuhkan kepercayaan dirinya, anak juga mampu belajar mengelola hati, bersabar, telaten, teliti dan belajar bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas yang diberikan.   Kata Kunci : Perilaku Agresif Anak, Metode eksperimen, Pelatihan Membatik This study aims to examine the effect of batik training on children's aggressive behavior. This research was designed as a qualitative field research. The method used in this research is the experimental method through Observation. namely comparing the state of aggressive behavior of children before and after treatmentThe subjects in this study were children aged 10 years. This study used a psychological scale to collect data. The scale used in this study is the scale of aggressiveness. The scale of aggressiveness is given to children to measure the level of aggressiveness of children before and after treatment.The results showed that there was a decrease in aggressive behavior in children before and after children were given treatment, namely batik training. This research proves that batik can reduce aggressive behavior in children, through observing good, cognitive and catharsis behavior. This can be seen in the process of batik from designing images, sticking, coloring or poking, melorod to become a batik product. When carrying out the stages of batik, the child is able to express his desires, because the child is left free to express in accordance with the desired, this trains the child to grow his confidence, the child is also able to learn to manage the heart, be patient, painstaking, study and be responsible for the tasks given.  Keywords: Children's Aggressive Behavior, Experimental Method, Batik Training
