Abstract

Adolescence is a dynamic developmental phase in an individual's life. This period is the transition from childhood to adulthood. During this period, there was rapid growth, including reproductive function, which affected the development of changes in physical, mental and social roles. Adolescence is also often called a critical period because, at that time when teenagers do not get the right guidance and information, problems often occur that can affect the future of adolescents. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about reproductive health with reproductive health behaviour of adolescents in grades 11 and 12 at SMA Negeri 4 Medan. In this study using a cross-sectional research design, the research subjects were 11th and 12th-grade students of SMA Negeri 4 Medan. The variables studied were the level of knowledge and attitudes of students. Data analysis using a quantitative approach was used to determine the distribution of the data, using univariable analysis, bivariable with Chi-square The results of the bivariable statistical test showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and adolescent reproductive health behaviour (?2=18.2; p=0.00 RP=1.585; CI 95%=1.19-2.09), and there is a significant relationship between adolescent attitudes and reproductive health behaviour (?2=18.00; p=0.00 RP=1.570; 95% CI=1.19-2.09). knowledge and attitudes of adolescents, with adolescent reproductive health behaviour at SMA Negeri 4 Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami strategi manajemen stres yang digunakan oleh ibu remaja dalam menghadapi kehamilan yang tidak direncanakan. Metode penelitian menggunakan Tinjauan Sistematis (Systematic Review), yang mengidentifikasi penelitian-penelitian terdahulu dan menganalisis kesenjangan pengetahuan yang ada. Pendekatan ini mencakup identifikasi pertanyaan penelitian melalui metode PICo (Population, Interest, Context) dan pencarian studi yang relevan melalui basis data Science Direct, ProQuest, dan PubMed. Seleksi artikel dilakukan berdasarkan pedoman Item Pelaporan Pilihan untuk Tinjauan Sistematis dan Analisis Meta (PRISMA-ScR). Hasil penelitian mencakup evaluasi kritis terhadap artikel-artikel kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang berkualitas sangat baik, dengan total 5 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan pada remaja sering kali dikaitkan dengan komplikasi selama kehamilan dan masa nifas. Namun, penerimaan perawatan kesehatan selama kehamilan terbukti dapat mengurangi dampak stres yang dialami ibu remaja. Simpulan, bahwa pentingnya intervensi dan dukungan yang tepat dari layanan kesehatan dalam mengelola stres pada ibu remaja dengan kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan. Abstract

Based on a preliminary study, the highest abortion rate was at the Uma Imelda Indonesian Migrant Hospital in Medan. The incidence of abortion at Imelda Medan General Hospital in 2020 was 8.14% of cases, in 2021 it increased to 7.95% of cases, and in 2022 it increased to 22.90% of cases. Teenage pregnancies at RSU Imelda Medan in 2020 amounted to 6.47% of cases, in 2021 it increased to 9.19% of cases, and in 2022 it increased to 25% of cases. Factors causing abortion include very young women aged <20 years and old women >35 years. Type of delivery also affects the incidence of abortion such as normal delivery for mothers < 20, 20-35, < 35 normal (31%, 56%, 48%) cesarean delivery (48%, 42%, 40% and curettage) 25%, 2% , 4%). Abstract

The health status of a country can be determined by high or low maternal mortality rates and newborn mortality rates. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is an indicator of the success of a country's health services. Every day more than 850 women die due to complications during pregnancy and childbirth. There are several things that mothers and families must prepare for when facing childbirth. Physical and psychological preparation is one of the many preparations that mothers must pay attention to. The aim of this research is to determine the mother's physical and psychological preparation in preparing for childbirth. Research method: This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Data is collected through interviews which will then be observed and grouped according to research themes and sub-themes. The research was conducted in the Labuhanbilik city area with the research implementation period starting from 21 September 2023 to 6 January 2024. The research results consisted of 2 themes, namely 1)the experience of physical preparation that the mother does in preparing for childbirth, 2) the experience of psychological preparation that the mother does in preparing for childbirth. Each theme has sub themes.Conclusion: Mothers who have experienced childbirth say they have made various preparations for the upcoming birth, such as taking leisurely walks, eating nutritious food, carrying out pregnancy checks, and getting support from their husbands and family.
