Abstract

Based on data from the Sumenep Health Office, the number of positive confirmed cases of Covid on Talango Island was 9 people and 1 person died. One of the reasons is that there are no corona treatment facilities on the island, so they have to be referred to the Sumenep Regency hospital by boat. In this study, the design of a speed boat ambulance specifically for Covid-19 patients with a catamaran hull type. The purpose of the speed boat ambulance design is to handle island patients, especially Covid-19 cases during sea journeys to Sumenep Hospital with adequate facilities. The research method is carried out by determining the main size of the ship using the sister ships method, then proceeding with drawing lines plan, calculating ship resistance along with determining engine power, and general arrangement. The results obtained are in the form of the main size of the ship in the form of a Catamaran ship type; LOA : 13.0 m; B : 7.0 m; H : 2.0 m; T : 1.2 m; Vs : 16 knot. Has 3 accommodation rooms, including a patient room for 2 people; Medical staff room with 1 doctor, 2 medical staff and 2 patient's families; The wheelhouse with 2 crew members.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Madura (POLTERA) yang terletak di Kabupaten Sampang, Jawa Timur, berdiri sejak tahun 2012. Letaknya yang berada diluar kota Sampang dan berada tepat di pesisir pantai, maka sumber mata air tanah di POLTERA adalah payau. Sedangkan saluran air dari PDAM belum menjangkau sampai ke daerah pesisir, sehingga selama ini POLTERA dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air bernya dengan cara membeli air bersih 3 tangki dalam sehari. Sementara pemenuhan air ini tidak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan consumable. Dalam penelitian ini, akan melakukan analisa kebutuhan air bersih di POLTERA setiap harinya, danmerancang pompa dan pipeline alat sea water reverse osmosis (SWRO). Luaran penelitian ini berupa perencanaan pompa dan piping lines SWRO berbasis studi kasus di kampus POLTERA. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui kebutuhan air bersih di POLTERA setiap harinya sebesar 170,33 m3. Sistem pompa dan perpipaan pada SWRO bekerja dengan mengalirkan air payau dari sumur ke tangki pretreatment, kemudian disaring bertahap melalui sediment filter 5 mikron, sediment 1 mikron, dan Granular Active Carbon (GAC) untuk membuang partikel dan zat berbahaya, serta dipompa dengan tekanan 10–15 bar agar sesuai syarat proses RO. Selanjutnya air masuk ke membran RO untuk menghasilkan air tawar yang ditampung di storage tank, lalu melewati post carbon filter agar bau dan rasa lebih baik sebelum akhirnya siap dikonsumsi.Kata Kunci: Pompa ; Skema Perpipaan ; SWRO ; Tangki.

Abstract

In the manufacture of a floating building such as a ship requires a machine to be able to move. This study aims to analyze the factors that can influence the selection of engines that will have an impact on ship performance. The method was carried out through data collection which was distributed to 30 respondents. The analysis carried out includes validity and reliability. The results of the analysis were carried out in the form of an alpha value of more than 0.6 and a cronch's bach value of 0.705 so that the factors used were reliable. Where the factor that has the highest value is the calculation of resistance, namely 0.609. Next, the calculation of the resistance value is carried out to determine the engine power. The difference between the detainees through the help of the Maxsuf application and manual calculations is 0.91. So the results of calculating the power requirements of the Aquatec SMART ship design are 15 Hp.
