Abstract

Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Memudahkan Pengunjung Mencari Informasi Tentang KontenYang Diinginkannya Serta Memudahkan Petugas Pustaka Dalam Mengelola Data Operasional.Pengumpulan Data Dilakukan Dengan Survei Ke Perpustakaan, Mewawancarai SejumlahPersonil, Melakukan Riset Kepustakaan Dan Juga Riset Laboratorium. Metode Analisa YangDigunakan Adalah Analisa Sistem Informasi (Asi) Dan Aplikasi Yang Dibangun MenggunakanBahasa Html Dan Phpscript. Sedangkan Database Manajemen Yang Dipakai Adalah MysqlDatabase. Akhirnya Dapat Disimpulkan Bahwa Penerapan Sistem Yang Baru AkanMempermudah Pengunjung Mencari Informasi Konten Yang Diinginkannya Dan JugaMemudahkan Petugas Pustaka Dalam Mengelola Data Operasional.

Abstract

The policy of the Covid-19 Pandemic that requires working from home during the quarantine period has an impact on the productivity of lecturers because work satisfaction is disrupted due to the dual roles performed by lecturers at home. Psychological problems such as boredom, fatigue, and stress that arise during this physical distancing period require an attitude to be able to accept unpleasant situations without excessive panic, namely Qana'ah (contentment) as a psychological model that is deemed appropriate to be a factor in job satisfaction from home to Andalas University (Unand) lecturers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research on qana'ah in work is associated with performance and employee motivation. Thus, job satisfaction is about someone who loves his job, and finds accomplishment and fulfillment in it. It is also a mixture of a person's feelings and emotions about how work affects his life, including in the working from home period like today. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between qana'ah attitudes and job satisfaction from home at Unand lecturers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The planned activities that have been carried out are using a mix method, first a qualitative research method to formulate a measurement construct through open interviews with several religious leaders and Unand lecturers. Second, the quantitative stage for the trial was carried out through an online questionnaire for Unand lecturers. Third, after getting a valid item, a measuring instrument in the form of a scale is compiled and distributed online again. Fourth, making measurement applications on websites based on expert systems, so as to produce job satisfaction measurement products that can be used anytime.

Abstract

Introduction to the Concept and Practice of Using Arrays in Programming Languages ​​is an effort to provide education and guidance to teachers at Senior High School 2 Gunung Talang, Solok who are interested in computer programming. Knowledge of the use of arrays in programming languages ​​is an important basis in the increasingly developing world of information technology. This community service activity aims to provide a broader understanding of the concepts and practices of using arrays in programming languages, especially for those who do not have a technical background in programming. In this activity, participants will be invited to understand the basic concepts of arrays, how to declare, initialize and access array elements in programming languages. This activity will provide an introduction to various types of arrays, such as one-dimensional arrays, two-dimensional arrays, and multidimensional arrays, as well as provide examples of practical use in everyday programming. Participants will also be taught about the benefits of using arrays, including how they can simplify code, increase efficiency, and optimize data management. It is hoped that the results of this service will provide benefits to the community by increasing their understanding of the use of arrays in programming languages. With this knowledge, participants become better prepared to overcome programming challenges and apply them in various fields, such as software development, data analysis, and information technology in general

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of a vehicle counting detection system on roadways utilizing the YOLO (You Only Look Once) algorithm, integrated with PyTorch's transfer learning and fine-tuning techniques. The study is motivated by the rapid increase in private vehicle ownership in Indonesia, which has heightened concerns regarding traffic congestion and accident risks. The primary objective of this research is to develop an efficient vehicle counting system based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), designed to process images and videos. The methodology encompasses a literature review, system analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. The system is built using YOLOv8, tailored with transfer learning to enhance object detection, focusing on cars. To track and count vehicles, the Centroid Tracker algorithm is employed. A dataset of 1,667 images was used, partitioned into training (1,488 images), validation (118 images), and testing (61 images) sets. The model achieved a detection accuracy of 97.92%, though minor detection errors were observed. In video-based testing, the system effectively detected and tracked vehicles, assigning unique IDs to individual cars. In conclusion, the YOLOv8-based model, combined with the Centroid Tracker algorithm, demonstrates strong performance in detecting and counting vehicles, offering potential contributions to traffic monitoring systems and providing a foundation for more sophisticated applications in future research.

Abstract

The rapid spread of misinformation on social media platforms, particularly X (formerly Twitter), poses a significant challenge to public trust and democratic integrity. Fake news is often crafted to deceive readers and manipulate public opinion, especially in political contexts such as the 2024 Regional Head Elections (Pilkada 2024). Although various measures have been proposed to mitigate this issue, achieving an effective balance between controlling misinformation and preserving free speech remains a challenge. This study aims to address this problem by developing a fake news detection model based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The dataset used in this study was collected from public tweets related to Pilkada, with Kompas.com serving as the validation source to verify content authenticity. Experimental results show that the proposed LSTM model outperformed traditional classification methods, achieving a precision, recall, and F1-score of 0.95, along with an overall accuracy of 94.90%. Confusion matrix analysis further confirmed the reliability of the model by demonstrating low misclassification rates. This study contributes to the advancement of AI-driven hoax detection systems, offering an automated and scalable solution for combating misinformation in political discourse.
