Abstract

The textile industry is a significant contributor to environmental pollution due to its wastewater, which contains hazardous substances such as dyes, heavy metals, and chemicals that can severely harm aquatic ecosystems. Effective management of this wastewater is crucial to mitigate its environmental impact. This study focuses on classifying industrial liquid waste data using the K-medoids clustering method, chosen for its robustness to noise and outliers compared to K-means. To address challenges in wastewater data processing, such as missing values and varying data scales, two approaches are compared: replacing missing values with zero and K-nearest neighbors (KNN) imputation, alongside Z-score normalization for data uniformity. The clustering quality is evaluated using the Davies-Bouldin index (DBI) for cluster variations of k=2, 3, 4, and 5. The results show that the best clustering quality is achieved at k=2, with the smallest DBI values obtained using KNN imputation (0.139) and zero replacement (0.149). The superior performance of KNN imputation highlights its effectiveness in handling missing data. These findings provide valuable insights into the characteristics of textile industry wastewater pollution, offering a robust framework for effective wastewater management. The study concludes with practical recommendations for policymakers and industry stakeholders to adopt advanced data-driven approaches for sustainable wastewater treatment strategies.

Abstract

This research explores and compares the performance of two popular load testing tools, namely Gatling and Apache JMeter, with a focus on API performance testing. The rapid growth in web and mobile application development highlights the urgent need to ensure optimal API performance. This research was conducted to provide in-depth insight into the advantages and disadvantages of these two testing tools through the use of similar testing scenarios. The experimental method involves implementing test scenarios that include load variations and high demands on both devices. The main parameters observed include API response time, throughput, and latency. In-depth analysis was carried out on the data obtained to evaluate the reliability and efficiency of each tool. The results of this research provide a comprehensive understanding of the performance of Gatling and Apache JMeter in the context of API performance testing. These findings can provide practical guidance for software developers and testing practitioners in selecting load testing tools that suit their project needs. Recommendations for future research include expanding exploration of other load testing tools, comparison with more complex test scenarios, and integration with performance monitoring tools for more holistic analysis. Thus, this research is expected to make a significant contribution to the understanding and selection of effective load testing tools in web and mobile application development.

Abstract

The Kedawung Village Office is one of the government institutions at the village level. They will collect data on goods and assets. However, the current data collection process has not been running optimally, which results in obstacles like the fact that inventory reports of goods and assets owned by the village are not well recorded and there is no recording of reports when there is damage to goods. This research aims to create a prototype system to facilitate the Head of General Affairs and Planning, the Village Secretary, and the Village Head in recording goods and reports on damage to goods. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method and the prototyping method. After testing the system using the black box method, the system is tested with several scenarios, and the system can perform all its functions properly. This system can facilitate the Head of General Affairs and Planning in collecting data on goods quickly and precisely, as well as the Village Secretary and Village Head in verifying the condition of goods.

Abstract

Abstrak - Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi Desa Wisata Widarapayung adalah rendahnya digital exposure (paparan digital) yang berimbas pada terbatasnya daya tarik bagi wisatawan domestik. Meskipun memiliki potensi wisata pantai yang indah dan pengelolaan yang baik, strategi promosi yang ada belum mengoptimalkan platform digital yang imersif dan mudah diakses. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengatasi kesenjangan tersebut melalui pengembangan sebuah website profil desa yang mengintegrasikan fitur Virtual Tour 360°. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan pendekatan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri atas tahap konseptual, perancangan, pengumpulan materi, pembuatan, pengujian, dan distribusi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah website fungsional yang berhasil memetakan seluruh area wisata utama ke dalam pengalaman visual Virtual Tour 360°. Implementasi sistem ini memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam meningkatkan digital exposure dan daya tarik visual destinasi, yang ditunjukkan dengan respons positif dari pengelola wisata dan pengunjung website selama uji coba. Sistem ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media promosi yang inovatif, tetapi juga menjadi model yang dapat diadopsi oleh desa wisata lainnya untuk memperkuat kehadiran mereka di dunia digital.Kata kunci: Digital Exposure; Virtual Tour 360°; Website Profil Desa; Desa Wisata; MDLC; Abstract - The main problem faced by Widarapayung Tourism Village is low digital exposure, which limits its appeal to domestic tourists. Despite its beautiful beach tourism potential and good management, existing promotional strategies have not optimized immersive and easily accessible digital platforms. This study aims to address this gap by developing a village profile website that integrates a 360° Virtual Tour feature. The system development method uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) approach, which consists of conceptualization, design, material collection, creation, testing, and distribution stages. The result of this research is a functional website that successfully maps all major tourist areas into a 360° Virtual Tour visual experience. The implementation of this system provides significant benefits in increasing the digital exposure and visual appeal of the destination, as demonstrated by the positive responses from tourism managers and website visitors during the trial period. This system not only functions as an innovative promotional medium, but also serves as a model that can be adopted by other tourist villages to strengthen their presence in the digital world.Keywords : Digital Exposure; 360° Virtual Tour; Village Profile Website; Tourism Village; MDLC;
