Abstract

Background: The postpartum period was a physical and psychological adaptation process. Psychological disturbances could present in form of postpartum blues, postpartum depression, and postpartum psychosis. Objective: The objective of this research was to determine the incidence of postpartum depression, identify predictors of postpartum depression and identify the dominant predictors of postpartum depression. Methods: this research used a cross sectional design. Sample were pregnant women which were chosen by random sampling technique. Data was collected with questionnaire to measure the predictors of postpartum depression was carried out with the Revision Postpartum Depression Predictors Inventory (PDPI) questionnaire and to measure depression scores used with the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS). Data analysis was done by univariate and bivariate analysis with with chi-square statistical tests and multivariate with logistic regression tests. Results: The results showed that the significant predictors were economic status, self-esteem, marital satisfaction, postpartum blues, and prenatal depression. The dominant predictor factor is satisfaction in marriage with a t value of 2.778 times. Conclusion: The results of the study show that marital satisfaction is a dominant predictor of postpartum depression, indicating that marital satisfaction or relationship quality is one of the important support systems because of the need for partner involvement in care actions during the pregnancy period until with the puerperium as efforts to prevent postpartum depression. Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Pain is a person's personal experience that is expressed differently in each individual and each individual has experience of pain on a certain scale, pain is also a stressor that can cause tension, this is an individual response where the body will respond biologically and behaviorally. Which causes physical and psychological responses, apart from that pain is also influenced by several factors, namely age, occupation, education and parity. Objective: Identify the Relationship between Early Mobilization and Pain Levels in Post-Caesarean Section Surgery Patients in the Carolus Borromeus 3 Obstetrics and Gynecology Room at Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta. Methods: The study design used a quantitative analytic with cross sectional approach, the population was all post sectio Caesarea mothers who were treated in the Carolus Borromeus 3 obstetrics and gynecology room at Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta. Samples were obtained by accidental sampling technique, namely patients who were met from 21 December 2020 to 21 January 2021 with a sample size of 36 respondents,instruments used a questionnaire and observation sheet. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between mobilization and the level of pain (p value 0.027) where it was found that 88.89% of respondents had a good level of mobilization and 11.11% of respondents had a sufficient level of mobilization while 88.89% of respondents had a mild pain level. And 11.11% had moderate pain levels. Conclusion: There is a relationship between early mobilization and the level of pain in post sectio caesarean patients in the Carolus Borromeus 3 obstetrics and gynecology Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta (p value 0,027), Suggestion: As an additional reference to the nursing profession in an effort to reduce pain in nursing care, it is not only maternity nursing but medical surgery nursing.

Abstract

Background: Knowledge is a guide in shaping one's actions. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (Dengue Hemoragic Fever) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus which causes acute fever. Dengue fever generally goes away on its own. Supportive treatment that is given is replacement of fluids by drinking lots of water and getting plenty of bed rest. Administration of fluids is the main management of DHF patients. Purpose : The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of parental knowledge about DHF with the adequacy of meeting the water needs of children suffering from DHF in the pediatric ward at Panti Rapih Hospital. Methods: This study used a quantitative type, analytic survey design with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were DHF patients who underwent treatment in the children's room at the Panti Rapih hospital. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling where respondents were taken DHF patients who were treated in the child care room on December 21, 2020 - January 21, 2021 with a total of 30 respondents. The research instruments used were questionnaires and assessment sheets for children's fluid needs. Results: The result of this study is that there is a significant relationship between the level of parental knowledge about DHF with the adequacy of fulfilling children's fluid needs (Pv = 0.016). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of parental knowledge about DHF with the adequacy of fulfilling the fluid needs of children suffering from DHF in the child care room at Panti Rapih Hospital. It is hoped that the nurses in the child care room will pay more attention to the understanding of parents about the illness suffered by patients so that they can help the healing process.
