Abstract

In this study, a survey of road damage condition with location at km 9 to km 14 (STA 9+00 - STA 14+00) with the aim of knowing the condition of road damage and its handling using Bina Marga and Pavement Condition Index methods. Based on the analysis of Bina Marga method, the level of road damage in STA 9+00-STA 14+00 has an area of 941.12m2, while the highest priority is 5.2 in STA 12+000 -STA 13+000 and the value of road conditions is 6.8. While from the analysis by PCI method obtained the results of the index of pavement conditions are very low with a value of PCI 14 ie at STA 12+850 to STA 12+900 with a category of very bad damage. From the results of road damage assessment, it is necessary to carry out routine maintenance and make repairs in the form of fillings, surface maintenance and crack closures can be used as recommendations for road repairs. From the results of the assessment of road conditions on the soekarno-hatta road section STA 9+000-STA 14+000 Balikpapan city obtained the value of the condition of pavement that suffered damage and must get priority handlersganan first namely STA 13+300 to STA 13+350 obtained pci value 14 which means in very bad condition (very poor), STA 12+8 50 to STA 12+900 obtained PCI value 14 which means in very poor condition, STA 10+250 to STA 10+300 obtained PCI value 42 which means in bad condition (poor), STA 10+600 to STA 10+650 obtained PCI value 31 which means in bad condition (poor).

Abstract

Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di Indonesia telah lama mendapatkan perhatian khusus dari pemerintah. Secara umum jumlah kecelakaan kerja terus menurun tiap tahunnya sesuai data BPJS Ketenagakerjaan yaitu jumlah kecelakaan kerja mencapai 221.740 kasus pada 2020. Jumlah itu naik menjadi 234.370 kasus pada 2021 dan 265.334 kasus sampai dengan November 2022. Didasari ini, Tim PKM Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan pelatihan K3 kepada mitra PT Anharu Mitra Barokah, bertujuan membekali pengetahuan K3 kepada pekerja di perusahaan tersebut. Secara umum kegiatan pelatihan memberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman kepada para pekerja dalam penerapan K3, diharapkan akan membangkitkan semangat mereka untuk menerapkan di lingkungan kerja nantinya sehingga tercapai zero accident. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan utama. Dimana tahap pertama adalah kegiatan Koordinasi, tahap kedua adalah pemberian materi/wawasan tahap ketiga adalah monitoring, yaitu melakukan kunjungan ke lokasi kerja untuk melihat perubahan yang terjadi setelah paparan materi. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut adalah antara lain peserta lebih waspada terhadap ancaman bahaya di tempat kerja, mampu melindungi dan memelihara K3 sehingga kinerja dapat meningkat, memastikan sumber produksi terpelihara dengan baik.

Abstract

The area of Kalimaya road, Balikpapan City is an area that still experiences flood problems. One of the main factors is the lack of optimal performance of the existing drainage channels due to the high sedimentation from the upstream area, precisely from the vacant land that is planned to be built housing but has not been carried out so that when heavy rain indirectly brings sediment from the area to spread along the drainage channel.Control basin is planned to minimize the load of sediment volume that occurs along the channel, The form of analysis that will be carried out is by making a location mapping and land use, then determining the amount of erosion rate from the source of the sediment location. The size of the erosion rate is used as a reference in determining the volume of sediment that will enter the drainage channel.The results show that the erosion from the area around the drainage channel with the source of the vacant land use is 88.101 tons/km2/year. From the results of the erosion rate, it can be determined that the sediment rate is 15,700 tons/km2/year with a total sediment volume in one year is 5,965m3. With the volume of sediment in the channel, the form of control tank planning design required to accommodate sediment that occurs in the drainage channel with a service plan life of one year is 4.00 meters long, 1.20 meters wide, and 1.24 meters deep.
