North Sumatra Province is experiencing problems in various sectors of life. The economic sector is one of the important sectors that influences the course of other sectors of life. poverty as one of the problems that arise in the economic sector is the focus of the studies examined in this study. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of unemployment, labor force, and population on poverty in the province of North Sumatra. This study uses multiple regression analysis method, using secondary data as a source of study. The secondary data obtained will be processed using the eviews application. The results of the study show that unemployment and population each have a significant effect on poverty,

AbstractThis research is motivated by the existence of musyrif problems from the aspect of communication skills in developing the character of students at Ma'had Al-Jahami'ah Padangsidimpuan State Islamic Institute. This study aims to identify the problems of musyrif from the aspect of communication skills in developing the character of students at Ma'had Al-Jahami'ah IAIN Padangsidimpuan. This research approach uses inductive qualitative nature. Data collection is done by observing carefully, interviewing, and collecting documentation. The results of the research are the problems of musyrif from the aspect of the musyrif's communication skills which are characterized by the ability to use communication methods in developing student character, namely by (1) lectures, (2) habituation, (3) stories, (4) persuasion, (5) halaqah. , (6) mau'izhotil hasanah, (7) proverbs (8) advice, (9) guidance, (10) practicum, (11) warning, (12) discussion, (13) giving sanctions/punishments. One of the factors for not implementing student character development is that the musyif lack the ability to communicate in public because there is still fear and shame.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan adanya problematika musyrif dari aspek kemampuan komunikasi dalam pembinaan karakter mahasantri di Ma'had Al-Jahami'ah Institut Agama Islam Negeri Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi problematika musyrif dari aspek kemampuan komunikasi dalam pembinaan karakter mahasantri di Ma'had Al-Jahami'ah IAIN Padangsidimpuan. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif yang bersifat induktif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengamati secara teliti, wawancara dan mengumpulkan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah problematika musyrif dari aspek kemampuan komunikasi para musyrif yang ditandai dengan kemampuan dalam menggunakan cara berkomunikasi dalam pembinaan karakter mahasantri yaitu dengan cara (1) ceramah, (2) pembiasaan, (3) cerita, (4) persuasif, (5) halaqah, (6) mau'izhotil hasanah, (7) amsal (8) nasehat, (9) suritauladan, (10) praktikum, (11) teguran, (12) diskusi, (13) pemberian sanksi/hukuman. Salah satu faktor ketidak terlaksananya pembinaan karakter mahasantri adalah para musyif kurang memiliki kemampuan komunikasi di depan umum karena masih ada rasa takut dan malu.

The Internet of Things (IoT) technology plays a significant role in enhancing environmental efficiency and comfort, including in supporting teaching and learning activities. This community service program aimed to design and implement an IoT-based automatic control system for lights and fans in the classrooms of MTs Miftahussalam. The system was developed using an ESP8266 microcontroller, DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, and relay modules to control devices automatically based on environmental data. Monitoring and control interfaces were handled via the Arduino IoT Cloud platform, allowing real-time device management through web or mobile applications. The implementation results showed that the system operated stably and effectively, providing positive impacts on classroom comfort and energy efficiency. This activity also successfully improved teachers' technological literacy through hands-on training and practical system assembly.

Al-Qur’an is the word of Allah swt which sometimes has words in it that hold many meanings like the word qalbun salim. The word qalbun salim which is implied in the qur’an by mufassir which has many meanings, one of which is a clean heart and a safe heart. One of the commentators, Ahmad Musthafa Al-Maraghi, said that the heart of qalbun salim is a clean heart and a safe heart.As for the formulation of the problem of this research, how is the interpretation of the verses about qalbun salim according to Ahmad Musthafa Al-Maraghi. The purpose of this study is to find out the interpretation of the verses about qalbun salim according to Ahmad Musthafa Al-Maraghi.As for this research is library research, namely library research, which collects data sources in the form of primary and secondary library materials. The primary data source in this study is al-Maraghi’s interpretation and the secondary data sources in this study are books, journals, and books related to this research. The interpretation of verses about the heart of qalbun salim is the keyword of the qur’an in the thematic method, by collecting data on all verses related to the topic of qalbun salim.From the previous explanation the author concluded that Ahmad Musthafa Al-Maraghi said the word qalbun salim in the Qur’an, namely qalbun salimis the heart that is safe from shirk and empties his heart from actions that pollute his heart in the form of false beliefs and bad traits. Thean his heart becomes clean from sin and immorality and abstains from acts that are forbidden by Allah swt. Because on the day of resurrection a person cannot be protected from the punishment of Allah with wealth, even if he redeems it with gold all the earth and not with the son he has.
