Abstract

Empowerment activities are considered the most appropriate choice to prepare the educational personnel in an effort to answer the challenges of the times. This research used qualitative research. Data collection used participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis starts from reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Data validity is done by the extension of attendance, triangulation, peer discussion and clarification with the informant. The results of research, 1) leadership of the principal in the empowerment of educational personnel using situational approach, this is evidenced by the principal always guiding, fostering, and assist his subordinates in the development of himself; 2) The headmaster in motivating the empowerment of his/her education personnel has the right trick to give motivation to the education personnel in performing various duties and functions. 3) Principal Strategy as an effort of empowerment of education personnel, principals provide opportunities for education personnel to improve their profession through upgrading, training, seminars and workshops, continue the study, requirement plan of education personnel, provide motivation of educational staff, pay attention to the welfare of educational staff, implement cooperation with educational staff and companies or other institutions in the implementation of school programs, fostering discipline of educational personnel.Keywords: principal leadership, empowering educational staff

Abstract

Marketing is one of the fundamental activities that need to be carried out by business actors, marketing activities include planning, pricing, promotion and distribution of goods or services that satisfy the needs of both existing and potential buyers. So that the marketing of "bangle chips" managed by PKK members is absolutely necessary, and cooperation from business people, government and academics is needed. This assistance uses the CBR (Community Based Research) method. The result of this assistance is Peratama, there is a formal distribution permit for the product "bangle chips". PKK members can market to a wider audience. And its products can be trusted by consumers. Second, PKK members have marketing management knowledge and skills. After the training and mentoring, now they not only know marketing management, but already have a systematic and very technical marketing planning and organization. Third, increasing sales volume, currently marketing is carried out with three strategies, namely, leaving it at the souvenir center, through social media and selling directly to consumers. So that the market share is even wider, and according to the recognition of the PKK chairman there is an increase in the number of sales.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine and analyze the relationship between the variables of idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration on the performance of educational staff. This study used a quantitative and explanatory approach through a survey technique. The questionnaire was compiled based on the research variables, namely transformational leadership and educational staff performance. Because the exact population size is unknown, the sample size was calculated using the Cochran formula. Data were collected from 100 educational staff members who were the sample of this study. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis and the Sobel test. The results of the study showed that idealized influence had a positive and significant effect on the performance of educational staff; inspirational motivation had a positive and significant effect on the performance of educational staff; intellectual stimulation had a positive and significant effect on the performance of educational staff; and individualized consideration had a positive and significant effect on the performance of educational staff. Leaders and management can utilize this study's results to improve educational staff performance. The variables that affect the performance of educational staff can be used as targets for change to improve performance.

Abstract

This paper examines the effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach is used to examine the relationship or influence between (X), (Y), and (Y1). The population in this study was 50 respondents. The results showed a significant partial effect of the transformational leadership variable on job satisfaction. The organizational culture variable has a partially significant influence on job satisfaction. The transformational leadership variable has a partially significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior. There is no significant partial effect of organizational culture on organizational citizenship behavior. This study has implications for the importance of cultural awareness of organizational citizenship behavior for each individual to build a good work team so that the achievement of organizational performance can be better than before.
