Abstract

The reconstitution of parenteral antibiotics is the process of mixing antibiotic drugs with sterile solutions for intravenous use. According to Indonesian Nursing Law No. 38 of 2014, Article 33, nurses are authorized to provide limited pharmaceutical services, including assisting in drug reconstitution. Errors in the mixing process can lead to incorrect drug dosages or reduced efficacy. This study aims to describe the solubility of antibiotics based on the reconstitution time of antibiotics in the Medical Intermediate Care (MIC) unit at Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital in Bandung. The research method used is quantitative descriptive correlational, utilizing frequency distribution to assess respondent characteristics, the antibiotics used, and their solubility. Central tendency measures are used to determine the mean solubility of antibiotics based on reconstitution time. A total of 66 samples were collected using accidental sampling techniques. The reconstitution procedure used aquabidest (distilled water) and NaCl. The duration of the reconstitution process affected the solubility of the antibiotics. It was concluded that the reconstitution and mixing procedures for parenteral preparations in the MIC unit did not fully meet Good Preparation standards. Antibiotics such as Cefepime, Vancomycin, Cefotaxime, and Meropenem had relatively longer reconstitution times compared to other antibiotics. Nurses should have the knowledge and skills to perform drug reconstitution according to standards. Hospitals should establish drug reconstitution standards to ensure the quality of medications administered to patients, thus preventing an increase in antibiotic resistance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Giga Catering, unit usaha berbasis pesantren yang bergerak di bidang jasa boga, menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam pengelolaan usaha, antara lain keterbatasan pemasaran digital, ketiadaan SOP higienitas, pencatatan pesanan secara manual, serta keterbatasan peralatan produksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Juli–Agustus 2025, melibatkan 18 peserta yang terdiri atas pengurus koperasi dan penjamah makanan Giga Catering. Intervensi dilakukan melalui tiga sesi pelatihan terintegrasi, meliputi sosialisasi, penyuluhan, workshop, dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test yang menilai tiga dimensi utama: pengetahuan, perilaku, dan implementasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, yaitu pengetahuan naik 20% pada aspek digitalisasi dan higienitas, perilaku meningkat 25% pada kedua aspek, serta implementasi bertambah 45% untuk digitalisasi dan 25% untuk higienitas. Hasil ini menegaskan peningkatan kompetensi teknis sekaligus perubahan perilaku peserta yang konsisten dengan standar operasional. Program ini berhasil mewujudkan konsep smart catering berbasis pesantren yang profesional, higienis, dan adaptif, serta berpotensi direplikasi pada unit usaha serupa dalam ekosistem ekonomi pesantren. Kata kunci: Transformasi Digital; Higienitas Penjamah Makanan; Smart Catering; Pemberdayaan UMKM ABSTRACTGiga Catering, a pesantren-based culinary enterprise, faces various management challenges, including limited digital marketing, the absence of hygiene standard operating procedures (SOP), manual order recording, and limited production equipment. The program was implemented from July to August 2025, involving 18 participants, comprising cooperative administrators and food handlers of Giga Catering. Interventions were conducted through three integrated training sessions, including socialization, counseling, workshops, and hands-on practice. Evaluation was carried out using pre-tests and post-tests assessing three main dimensions: knowledge, behavior, and implementation. The results indicated significant improvements, with knowledge increasing by 20% in digitalization and hygiene aspects, behavior improving by 25% in both areas, and implementation rising by 45% for digitalization and 25% for hygiene. These findings confirm the enhancement of technical competencies alongside behavioral changes consistent with operational standards. The program successfully established a professional, hygienic, and adaptive pesantren-based smart catering model, which holds potential for replication in similar business units within the pesantren economic ecosystem. Keywords: Digital Transformation; Food Handler Hygiene; Smart Catering; MSME Empowerment

Abstract

ABSTRACT Coronary heart disease is one of the main manifestations of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and can affect anyone, especially individuals who have not implemented a healthy lifestyle. Early detection of cardiovascular risk is an important step in preventive efforts. The purpose of this research to identify the risk prediction score of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease using the WHO CVD Risk Chart. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey approach, conducted in the working area of the Kujangsari Health Center, Bandung City. A total of 30 respondents were selected as research samples. The results showed that most respondents were female (93.3%) and male (6.7%). Research results show that based on age group, 6.7% were classified as early adulthood, 23.3% were early middle adulthood, 53.3% were late middle adulthood, and 16.7% were elderly. A total of 16.7% of respondents had a smoking habit, while 93.3% did not smoke. Respondents with a history of diabetes mellitus (DM) amounted to 10%, while 90% did not have a history of DM. Based on the calculation of risk prediction scores with the WHO CVD Risk Chart, it was found that 36.7% of respondents had a mild risk, 50% moderate risk, and 13.3% high risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. This study shows that most respondents are in the moderate risk category. This finding emphasizes the importance of implementing community-based preventive interventions, such as health education and healthy lifestyle promotion, to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in the Kujangsari Health Center work area.  Keywords: Atherosclerosis, Cardiovascular Disease, Risk Prediction, WHO CVD Risk Chart  ABSTRAK Penyakit jantung koroner merupakan salah satu manifestasi utama dari penyakit kardiovaskular aterosklerosis dan dapat menyerang siapa saja, terutama individu yang belum menerapkan pola hidup sehat. Deteksi dini terhadap risiko kardiovaskular menjadi langkah penting dalam upaya preventif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi skor prediksi risiko penyakit kardiovaskular aterosklerosis menggunakan WHO CVD Risk Chart. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kujangsari, Kota Bandung. Sebanyak 30 responden dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden berjenis kelamin perempuan (93,3%) dan laki-laki (6,7%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan kelompok usia, 6,7% tergolong dewasa awal, 23,3% dewasa madya awal, 53,3% dewasa madya akhir, dan 16,7% lanjut usia. Sebanyak 16,7% responden memiliki kebiasaan merokok, sementara 93,3% tidak merokok. Responden dengan riwayat diabetes melitus (DM) berjumlah 10%, sedangkan 90% tidak memiliki riwayat DM. Berdasarkan perhitungan skor prediksi risiko dengan WHO CVD Risk Chart, diperoleh bahwa 36,7% responden memiliki risiko ringan, 50% risiko sedang, dan 13,3% risiko tinggi terhadap penyakit kardiovaskular aterosklerosis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden berada pada kategori risiko sedang. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pelaksanaan intervensi preventif berbasis masyarakat, seperti edukasi kesehatan dan promosi gaya hidup sehat, untuk menurunkan risiko penyakit kardiovaskular di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kujangsari. Kata Kunci: Aterosklerosis, Penyakit Kardiovaskular, Prediksi Resiko, WHO CVD Risk Chart
