Abstract

Indonesia’s efforts to contribute as a member of the G20 are to maximize domestic economic development. One of the important problems faced in economic development is between meeting development needs and efforts to maintain aspects of environmental sustainability. Environmental problems are a contemporary issue that does not only occur at the macro level. However, at a micro level, the world is trying to get to know the issues of environmentally friendly products or what is known as Green Business or Green Industry. The impact of the existence of the green industry is that the global market trend is increasingly moving towards environmentally friendly products (eco-products). This condition is an obstacle and opportunity that needs to be immediately anticipated and utilized. For this reason, the government created a policy to help MSMEs through the Center for the Study of Green Industry and the Environment of the Ministry of Industry (2011), namely by developing environmentally friendly industries or green industries that can produce green products. MSMEs from the tourism sector in Tulungagung, East Java are Cowindo. Cowindo is one of the educational tours in Sendang District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java. Starting from local wisdom, it became known as a quality milk-producing area, then educational tourism was opened in 2018 and a sustainable production process was officially developed in 2020. In supporting sustainability at the domestic level, biogas is one of the strategies to make it happen. Apart from that, there are several implementations carried out by Cowindo as a form of green business, namely Bio-Slurry, the use of banana leaves as an alternative to reducing the use of soap and water, as well as processing lemongrass distillate for cows to drink as additional nutrition for the cows.

Abstract

In the era of global economic crisis due to the outbreak, according to data obtained from the Financial Services Authority, the total assets of Islamic banking show a positive trend as the assets increase every year. This study aims to assess the performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia before and after the Covid 19 pandemic using the Maqashid Syariah Index (MSI) approach. There are three indicators used in the measurement, namely individual education, the embodiment of justice and the general benefit. Using purposive sampling technique, five Islamic banks with the largest office network, Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI), BRI Syariah Bank (BRIS), Mega Syariah Bank (BMS), BJB Syariah Bank (BJBS) and BCA Syariah Bank (BCAS), were selected in which the annual report data were analyzed by using SAW (Simple Additive Weighted). The results of this study indicate that based on the calculation of the Maqashid Syariah Index, there are two Islamic commercial banks in which the financial performance has increased during the pandemic, while the others experienced a decline after the pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of millennial teacher characteristics, compensation, and workplace spirituality on teacher loyalty, an overview/generalization of the research problem. This research uses a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanation. The study's population consisted of the 52 teachers that work at Taruna Nusa Harapan (TNH) Elementary School. Purposive sampling is the method of sampling that is employed. Results of the research show that workplace spirituality, compensation, and millennial teachers' characteristics all significantly affect teachers' loyalty at TNH Elementary School. This is demonstrated by the calculated F value of 4.034, which is higher than the 2.95 F table value with a 0.028 significance level. At TNH Elementary School, the millennial teacher characteristic variable (X1) has a t-count value of 0.281 and a t-table value of 2.042, indicating that it has a partially zero effect on teacher loyalty. There is a partially significant positive effect for the compensating variable (X2), with a t-count value of 2.837 and a t-table of 2.042. There is a marginally significant positive influence on workplace spirituality (X3), with a t-count value of 2.735 and a t-table of 2.042. The results of R2 (coefficient of determination) of 0.818 or (81.8%) and the remaining 18.2% are influenced by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

This study explores how age, education, experience, and wages affect labor productivity in the housing sector of Mojosari, Mojokerto Regency. With rapid urbanization and rising housing demand, understanding these factors is crucial for improving workforce performance. Using a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression, data was gathered from 150 construction workers in Mojosari through random sampling. The analysis found that all four factors—age, education, experience, and wages—significantly impact productivity. Education had the greatest influence, emphasizing the importance of skill development. Both experience and wages also positively affected productivity, while age showed a mixed effect, with productivity increasing until a certain age before declining. The model explained 62% of the productivity variation. The findings suggest the need for policies focusing on workforce training, fair wages, and better management to enhance productivity. Investing in education and skills development will be key for sustaining growth in the housing sector. This research provides valuable insights for improving labor productivity in Indonesia's housing industry, particularly in rapidly urbanizing areas.

Abstract

The catabolism that exists in the mosque's economic space is also caused by the reaction of complex compounds (mosques) into simpler compounds (the economic and even social spaces that are formed show more specific functions) with the help of developments over time and existing needs. The research methodology used is qualitative with a case study approach. The results of this research are that the catabolism process of mosque economic spaces experiences 5 phases. Starting from phase 1 to 4 then the fifth phase is that the social fund institution space creates another new space after the cooperative, namely lazis so that it becomes 1) mosque room, 2) REMAS room, 4) mosque cooperation, 5) Lazis. The catabolism process of economic spaces in mosques gives rise to empowerment which can be classified in the social and economic fields. Of course, there are also supporters and obstacles to this process, including human resources. Keywords: Catabolism, Mosque Economy, Community Empowerment
