Abstract

Background:The utilization of Big Data is a tangible benefit of technology and interest in analyzing the field has significantly increased in recent years. However, there are limited investigations on the application of the field in university libraries. Objective: This research aimed to identify and describe the characteristics of publications related to Big Data in university libraries using bibliometric analysis to explore and understand the trends. Method: Bibliometric visualization methods were used in the investigation. Results: The results showed that there were 80 publications on Big Data in university libraries from 2014 to 2023. The College of Economics and Management, as well as publications by Ahmad (2019) and Fox Edward, had the most significant influence on the field. Conclusion: The mapping showed the validity of the relationship between theory and the opportunities presented in the field.

Abstract

IPDN library has been providing college repository services since 2017 through eprints.ipdn.ac.id, but there has been no measurement related to the effectiveness of the utilization of the IPDN repository service. The purpose of this study is to obtain a general overview of the effectiveness of the use of University repositories in the IPDN Library Jatinangor campus. The study used qualitative methods with data collection through interviews to 15 informants, observation and documentation. The results showed that the IPDN Repositori is provided with the aim to provide convenience for users, especially IPDN lecturers in the storage and assessment of scientific work, but there are still server and network constraints at the time of its utilization. In addition, the IPDN Library has conducted socialization and assistance for users. However, monitoring activities related to the utilization of IPDN repository services are still minimal. In conclusion, the effective utilization of University repositories, especially in the Institute of domestic government (IPDN) is included in the sufficient category. As for the 4 (four) dimensions that become a measure of effectiveness, there is 1 (one) dimension that is still lacking in its application, namely the monitoring dimension, 2 (two) dimensions that are sufficient, namely the dimension of targeting and program goals, 1 (one) dimension that is good, namely the dimension of socialization.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik merupakan salah satu dari fungsi pemerintahan. Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin cepat menuntut pemerintah untuk bisa adaptif terhadap perubahan yang terjadi. Salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan teknologi dalam penyelenggaraan fungsi pelayanan publik. Untuk mendukung hal tersebut, maka dibutuhkan kesiapan literasi digital bagi sumber daya manusianya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi studi-studi yang mencerminkan pola dan karakteristik dari serangkaian publikasi yang berkaitan dengan literasi digital, serta untuk menyajikan temuan tersebut secara visual. Metode yang digunakan adalah paradigma kuantitatif dengan pendekatan bibliometrik. Sebanyak 1.157 dokumen yang terkumpul dari pencarian melalui database Scopus yang merupakan hasil dari pertimbangan kriteria tertentu. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama 10 tahun terakhir (2012-2022), terdapat peningkatan tahunan dalam jumlah artikel yang dipublikasikan di jurnal yang terindeks Scopus tentang digital literacy. Kesimpulannya, terdapat sejumlah 3.996 kata kunci, 220 diantaranya saling berhubungan dan dikelompokkan menjadi 9 cluster. Kata kunci "Digital literacies" mendominasi dengan 876 kemunculan sebagai frasa kunci yang paling sering digunakan. Topik yang menjadi fokus utama sebagai kata kunci baru adalah digital competencies, internet literacy, digital transformation. Adapun topik penelitian yang masih jarang dilakukan oleh peneliti diantaranya adalah internet literacy, education computing, artificial intelligence, digital tools, digital learning, digital environment, data privacy, critical literacy, digital competency, digital transformation, social capital. Kata Kunci: Analisis Kata Kunci, Bibliometrik, Literasi Digital, Scopus.
