Abstract

The problem in Melikan Village in running the pottery business is that the pottery-making process still uses manual tools, and the raw materials used are difficult to obtain. The study aimed to obtain an overview of community empowerment through Creative Economic Enterprises in realizing a tourist village in Melikan Village. The researcher chose Melikan Village from 5 Pottery Tourism Villages in Wedi Subdistrict as a research project because Melikan Village still maintains its ancestors' heritage in making pottery using manual techniques. In addition, the form of pottery made is only based on the ideas and creativity of each craftsman. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the government holds training socialization by bringing in the Industry Office, which is held twice a month to develop the creativity of the craftsmen. In addition, in terms of budget, the craftsmen only rely on personal budgets, not the local governments. Supporting factors include the potential for self-taught creativity of the craftsmen, enthusiasm, and positive response from the community. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor factors are the competition between craftsmen in determining the selling price of pottery to consumers. In addition, the craftsmen also complained about the raw materials used to make pottery, which are now difficult to obtain in their villages. Hence, they have to take them from neighboring villages. In conclusion, community empowerment through creative economic businesses in developing tourist villages in Melikan Village is categorized as good enough. Employee discipline, especially concerning office hours, needs improvement, yet personal efforts to enhance work quality through technical guidance and workshops are evident. Persistence in task execution is notable. In terms of work dimensions, cost-saving practices are in place, but punctuality issues persist, and while technology proficiency is noteworthy, deficiencies remain in supporting facilities and infrastructure. Overall, Semuntai Village employee performance is fairly good, with areas such as discipline, skills, time flexibility, and infrastructure support identified for improvement in public service delivery.

Abstract

The Identity Card (KTP) serves as an official population identification issued by the relevant authority and is valid throughout the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Despite this, in Semende Darat Ulu District, 9,520 out of 22,273 eligible individuals have yet to register for the E-KTP. This study aims to assess the implementation of the E-ID card service program in this district. Utilizing a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that, in the communication dimension, the clarity of service implementation was satisfactory. Semende Darat Ulu Subdistrict effectively disseminated information about E-KTP recording times by notifying village officials and conducting school visits. The resource dimension, concerning both quantity and quality, was adequate for counter officers and E-KTP operators. The disposition dimension revealed that task distribution among employees was aligned with their competencies. The bureaucratic structure dimension showed that an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) governs the E-KTP service process. However, challenges remain due to signal issues and adverse geographical conditions, such as frequent rain and power outages. Overall, three out of the four dimensions were found to be satisfactory, while one remains lacking. Therefore, the implementation of the E-KTP service program in Semende Darat Ulu District is categorized as good, though improvements are needed.

Abstract

IPDN library has been providing college repository services since 2017 through eprints.ipdn.ac.id, but there has been no measurement related to the effectiveness of the utilization of the IPDN repository service. The purpose of this study is to obtain a general overview of the effectiveness of the use of University repositories in the IPDN Library Jatinangor campus. The study used qualitative methods with data collection through interviews to 15 informants, observation and documentation.
