Abstract

Guidance Counseling is an activity that originates from human life. Because in life, humans always experience various problems. So you need help from other people to solve the problem. Guidance Counseling is a series of service programs provided to students so that they are able to develop. Students also need good handling. Like deaf children who cannot hear clearly and communicate well. Especially in terms of religious counseling guidance, which aims to provide assistance to individuals in their religious life so that it is in line with the provisions and instructions of Allah SWT so that they obtain happiness in this world and the hereafter. Recently, there has been significant concern regarding the mental health of adolescents due to the increasing prevalence of mental disorders among them, making this group particularly vulnerable. Adolescents' understanding of mental health can be improved through appropriate educational initiatives using appropriate media. Among various media, audiovisual content, especially video, has shown superior effectiveness in increasing teenagers' knowledge. The guidance and counseling teacher's efforts aim to increase teenagers' awareness of mental health by utilizing counseling methods for handling it.

Abstract

Penelitian ditujukan untuk menentukan konsentrasi pembius ekstrak batang pisang yang dapat membius nila (Oreochormis niloticus). Indikator keberhasilannya didasarkan atas waktu kolaps tercepat dan waktu pulih terlama. Sebanyak 29 ikan belum layak konsumsi berukuran panjang total antara 12,6-18,5 cm dan 25 ikan layak konsumsi (18,6-24,5 cm) dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Pembiusan difokuskan terutama pada ikan belum layak konsumsi yang akan diseparasi, karena lebih rentan terhadap zat pembius dibandingkan dengan ikan layak konsumsi. Konsentrasi pembius yang digunakan terdiri atas 1%, 2%, dan 3%. Respon ikan terhadap pembiusan disesuaikan dengan tabel McFarland (1959). Hasilnya adalah zat pembius yang terkandung dalam batang pisang berupa saponin. Konsentrasi pembius 3% lebih baik dibandingkan dengan 2% dan 1%, karena ikan lebih cepat kolaps dan lebih lama pulih. Ikan belum layak konsumsi akan kolaps setelah pembiusan selama 25-60 menit dengan waktu pulih antara 28-50 menit. Adapun ikan layak konsumsi akan kolaps setelah dibius selama 82-93 menit dan akan pulih kembali antara 58-90 menit. Kata kunci: batang pisang, layak konsumsi, nila, saponin, waktu kolaps, waktu pulih

Abstract

This research is based on the reality of fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Tepung Sari, where students' literacy skills in determining main ideas are still concerning. Students tend to get stuck in the pattern of copying the first sentence of a paragraph without truly analyzing the essence of the reading. To overcome this impasse, this study implemented the Small Group Discussion method. Through a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach over two cycles, a significant transformation in the learning atmosphere was found. The results showed that a more intimate and non-intimidating discussion space allowed students to exchange strategies for understanding texts collegially. Quantitatively, there was a surge in classical completion rates from only 40% in the pre-cycle to 90% at the end of the second cycle. This study concludes that shifting problem-solving authority from teachers to students through small groups not only improves academic scores but also fosters students' critical thinking in analyzing reading texts.
