Abstract

This research aims to discover what causes moral degradation and how madrasah diniyah as an educational institution provides a solution. This research uses a literature study, including qualitative analysis. The data used in this study will be sourced from various literature, including books, journals, articles, and academic sources related to the existence of diniyah education and moral degradation in society. The data that has been collected will be analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of this study show that Madrasah Diniyah plays an essential role in overcoming moral degradation in society. Moral education can be done by applying exemplary and habitual education. These strategies should enable Madrasah Diniyah to overcome existing ethical problems and contribute to developing a morally upright generation.

Abstract

Children are the next generation of the nation, so the good and bad of a child in the future is determined by the child in the present. They will be able to become the hijab of hell fire when educated with the majesty and beauty of Islam. Good education starts from the family, because from them later quality generations will change the face of the world. For this reason, Islam has provided guidance to parents to pay attention to the education of their children. Given the aim of tarbiyah is to maintain the sanctity of human nature and protect it so that it does not fall into deviation and manifest in the child a servitude to Allah Ta'ala.This study intends to answer the problem of how the method of children's education in the perspective of Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyah. The results of the study indicate that several educational methods described by Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyah are (1) Be fair to children in giving and forbidding, (2) Smearing the baby's tongue with honey and salt to facilitate speech, (3) always being guarded from things - surprising things, (4) Pay attention to and take care of children, (5) Teach children to do good, and (6) pay attention to children's talents. Abstract

Guru dalam dunia pendidikan merupakan seseorang yang memiliki kemampuan dan pengalaman yang dapat memudahkan dalam melaksanakan perannya dalam membimbing siswa-siswanya. Ia harus sanggup menilai dirinya sendiri tanpa berlebih-lebihan, sanggup berkomunikasi dan bekerja sama dengan orang lain. Pendidikan multikultular merupakan keragaman budaya yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik dan menciptakan keharmonisan dalam perbedaan. Adapun upaya guru PAI dalam menerapkan pendidikan multikultular di SMPN 1 Sumbawa. Pertama, penerapan pendidikan multikultular pada kegiatan belajar mengajar di dalam kelas dengan memberikan pemahaman dan selalu mengingatkan tentang pentingnya toleransi pada materi Pendidikan Agama Islam. Kedua, penerapan pendidikan multikultular di luar jam pelajaran dengan menjadi teladan yang baik bagi peserta didik dengan mencontohkan sikap toleransi, saling menjaga dan saling menghargai perbedaan. Adapun pentingnya menerapkan pendidikan multikultular di SMPN 1 Sumbawa dikarenakan siswa, guru beserta semua orang yang terkait dengan lingkungan sekolah, berasal dari etnis, suku dan Agama yang berbeda. Sehingga dibutuhkan pemahaman dan pengalaman pentingnya toleransi untuk saling menjaga dan saling menghargai perbedaan antar sesama agar tercipta lingkungan yang aman, damai dan nyaman. 3). Adapun faktor penghambat dan pendukung guru PAI pada penerapan pendidikan multikultular adalah: pertama, faktor penghambat yaitu dari diri siswa itu sendiri. Kedua, faktor pendukung yaitu dari semua pihak sekolah.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out how Al-Ghazali, Lawrence Kolberg, and Thomas Lichona think about character education in contemporary Islam. The benefits for the government and educators make the educational ideas of Al-Ghazali, Lawrence Kolberg, and Thomas Lichona an inspiration in upholding quality Indonesian education. This research method is qualitative with descriptive analysis techniques using library research (library research). Through this literature review, researchers try to describe existing phenomena, which are currently taking place or in the past, and are sourced from various sources that have theoretical depth from experts. This study examines the perspective of character education according to Al-Ghazali, Thomas Lickona, and Lawrence Kolberg by examining the theories put forward. The results of this paper are that according to Al-Ghazali educational thinking is religious-ethical in nature, al-Ghazali's educational goals cover three aspects, namely cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects. Al-Ghazali mentioned four scientific classification categories, namely; classification of science syar'iyah (religion) and 'aqliyah (reason); theoretical and practical sciences; knowledge is presented (hudhûri) and acquired (hushûli); The knowledge of fardhu 'ain and fardhu kifayah. Meanwhile, Thomas Lickona stated that the notion of character education is a deliberate effort to help someone understand, pay attention to, and carry out core ethical values. And more broadly, he stated that character education is a deliberate (conscious) effort to realize virtue, namely objectively good human traits, not only good for individuals but also good for society as a whole. According to Lawrence Kolberg, Kohlberg offers fictional moral issues, so that for the context of the Indonesian nation, it is necessary to prioritize contemporary moral issues that actually occur in everyday life. In this case, what needs to be emphasized is that children have diverse experiences in social problems. Children must also be confronted with moral problems from a different perspective. Thus the diversity of moral problems and various perspectives in solving moral problems will encourage children's moral development to a higher stage.
