Abstract

The research method used to understand the mechanism of resolving cases of ikhtilath in Pidie District is qualitative research with direct data collection in the field. The results of the research show that cases of ikhtilath are not directly handled by the local village or sub-district authorities, but are handed over to the competent authorities because the perpetrators of ikhtilath often come from outside the area. This is done to ensure that the cases are resolved in accordance with the law and to deter the perpetrators and other members of the community. The mechanism for resolving cases of ikhtilath in Pidie District involves a legal process according to Qanun No. 6 of 2014. This process involves several parties, such as investigators, prosecutors, judges, and witnesses at the scene. Despite challenges such as limited resources and minimal budget, efforts are made to prevent ikhtilath through tighter security, family supervision, and community outreach. The sanctions imposed on perpetrators of ikhtilath are in accordance with existing regulations, but the lack of community participation in prevention and the shortage of PPNS investigators are inhibiting factors in handling these cases.

Abstract

The transformation of national law is a strategic process in realizing a just and democratic state. This article aims to analyze the dynamics of legal reform in aligning national legal systems with the principles of democracy and social justice. Using a qualitative approach and library research method, this study examines various regulations, legal doctrines, and previous research related to the development of national law. The findings indicate that legal transformation involves not only normative changes in legislation but also institutional reform, public participation in the legislative process, and the strengthening of the rule of law. However, structural challenges such as legal dualism, regulatory overlap, and weak law enforcement remain significant obstacles to achieving substantive justice. Therefore, legal reform must be grounded in constitutional values, human rights, and public aspirations as the foundational elements in building a democratic and just rule of law state.

Abstract

Introduction: Exclusive breastfeeding during the postpartum period is crucial for optimal infant health and growth, but its success rate remains low. Lactation education for postpartum mothers is an effective intervention in improving mothers' knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards exclusive breastfeeding. This systematic literature review analyzed various studies that discussed the effect of lactation education on the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The literature search strategy was conducted using the PubMed and Schoolar databases. Inclusion criteria included: a) articles from 2020–2025, b) intervention studies (RCTs, quasi-experiments, mixed methods), c) pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and d) publications in English or Indonesian. The review results showed that lactation education in the form of counseling, breastfeeding technique training, and the use of educational media such as lactation technique videos significantly improved mothers' ability to provide exclusive breastfeeding, reduced breastfeeding problems, and increased the frequency and duration of breastfeeding. In conclusion, lactation education is an important strategy that can empower postpartum mothers to successfully provide exclusive breastfeeding, and is recommended for routine and continuous implementation by health workers. A literature search was conducted through PubMed and Elicit databases, with inclusion criteria for intervention studies covering the 2020–2025 period. Conclution indicate that culturally based interventions, such as health education through local wisdom, strengthening family food security, empowering mothers, and postpartum psychosocial support, have been shown to be effective in improving breastfeeding practices, feeding behaviors, and mother-child bonding. In conclusion, adaptive culturally based interventions have significant potential to support stunting prevention
