Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI IPS2 students at SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda through Discovery Learning on mathematical induction materials, linear and matrix programs, and was carried out in August – September 2019 with 36 students as research subjects and research objects. is learning Discovery Learning. The instruments used are assignments, end-of-cycle tests and observations. Assignments consist of group and individual assignments. The test is carried out at the end of each cycle. Observations were carried out at each meeting and during the learning process. The test questions in each cycle are in the form of descriptions. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The implementer of the lesson is a mathematics teacher at SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda, the observer is a researcher. The results of data analysis showed an increase in the average value at the end of each cycle. The final value of the cycle is obtained from the value of group and individual assignments, as well as the test scores of each cycle. In the first cycle the basic value was 51.1 and the final value was 55.5 with an increase of 4.4. In the second cycle the basic value is 55.5 and the final value is 68.3 with an increase of 12.8. In the third cycle, the basic score was 68.3 and the final grade was 78.3 with an increase of 10. The conclusion was that through Discovery Learning, the mathematics learning outcomes of XI2 grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Samarinda increased.

Abstract

Abstrak Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan dan analisis siswa yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa pada pelajaran dasar – dasar program keahlian jurusan TJKT di SMK YPS Samarinda belum memiliki bahan ajar digital dan siswa membutuhkan variasi bahan ajar, tidak hanya menggunakan buku cetak saja, oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan e-modul interaktif berbasis android untuk pelajaran Dasar – Dasar Program Keahlian Jurusan Teknik Jaringan Komputer dan Telekomunikasi (TJKT). Metode penelitian ini adalah metode R&D dengan model pengembangan PPE, yang mencakup tiga tahap yaitu, perencanaan, produksi, dan evaluasi. Media yang digunakan dalam pengembangan adalah aplikasi Smart Apps Creator. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berbasis android yang dikembangkan memperoleh persentase nilai kelayakan sebesar 93% dari satu ahli materi dan tiga ahli media, dengan kategori "Sangat Layak." Setelah uji kelayakan dan revisi, selanjutnya pengambilan respons dari satu guru dan siswa kelas X yang berjumlah total 21 siswa, dengan hasil penilaian dari guru mencapai 94% dan siswa mencapai 86%, yang keduanya termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat Baik." Berdasarkan hasil ini, e-modul interaktif berbasis android yang dikembangkan dengan model PPE dinyatakan "Sangat Layak" oleh para validator dan dianggap "Sangat Baik" oleh guru dan siswa. Kata Kunci: E-modul Interaktif; Model PPE; Smart Apps Creator   Abstract Based on the results of the needs analysis and student analysis conducted, it was found that the basic vocational subject of the TJKT program at SMK YPS Samarinda does not yet have digital teaching materials, and students require a variety of learning resources, not just printed books. Therefore, the aim of this research is to develop an interactive Android-based e-module for the Basic Vocational Program subject in the Computer and Network Engineering (TJKT) department. This research employs an R&D method using the PPE development model, which includes three stages: planning, production, and evaluation. The media used in this development is the Smart Apps Creator application. The feasibility test results indicate that the developed Android-based e-module received a feasibility score of 93% from one content expert and three media experts, categorized as "Highly Feasible." Following the feasibility test and revisions, feedback was collected from one teacher and 21 tenth-grade students, with the teacher's evaluation reaching 94% and the students' reaching 86%, both categorized as "Very Good." Based on these results, the Android-based interactive e-module developed with the PPE model is deemed "Highly Feasible" by the validators and considered "Very Good" by both the teacher and the students.
