Abstract

Aggressiveness among adolescents in Vocational High Schools has increased significantly. Group counseling services in schools are rarely used to prevent drug abuse. Most group counseling is used to solve several problems, such as learning, personal, social, and career problems. This study aims to produce simple, valid, and effective guidelines for guidance and counseling teachers / counselors to reduce student aggressiveness. This research is a development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were students and supervisors at the Vocational High School in the city of Padang. The validity of this study was carried out by six experts associated with this study and the appearance of guidelines. The usability test was carried out by three supervisors. Data analysis is descriptive and inferential analysis with the Kendals coefficient statistical test. The results showed that: (1) The level of material suitability was very acceptable with a percentage of 93 percent and the appearance of the guidelines was also in the proper category with a percentage of 90.4 percent, (2) The use of group guidance guides using the gestalt counseling approach to reduce student aggressiveness was included in the category. The best with a percentage of 87. It can be concluded that this guideline is appropriate for use by supervisors / counselors as an effort to reduce student aggressiveness in vocational high schools in Padang city

Abstract

The problem of bullying in high school students in the province of West Sumatra, the problems in this study are what are the characteristics, factors, impacts, and efforts that have been made by tutors in overcoming bullying behavior? The method used is a descriptive research method that is used is survey research. The research data are counseling guidance teachers, students, classes, parents, and school principals. Data collection techniques, interviews, observation, and documentation. The intermediary data used are interview guidelines, observation results, larger, and absent research results, there are already internal ones such as wanting to be in power and being seen as great, high self-confidence, rebels against themselves, while external factors are, adoptive parents, social environment children, unable to accept what they are facing and encourage students to take bullying and have a negative impact. What has been done is to provide orientation services, individual counseling information services.

Abstract

Adult bullying problems are increasingly prevalent in Indonesia. Bullying that often occurs in schools disrupts students from achieving optimal development. This is important to be addressed immediately so that bullying does not develop in schools. Guidance and counseling is a unit that is able to help in alleviating this problem. This research uses a literature study approach regarding the impact and ways of dealing with bullying in Minangkabau youth. Bullying refers to a form of bullying or violence that is intentionally carried out by one person or group of people who are stronger or more powerful against another person, with the aim of hurting and is carried out continuously. The development of technology, makes it easier for people to do bullying, not only occurs directly, but also occurs on social media. Guidance and counseling is one of the units in the school that is considered capable of preventing bullying behavior with various services.
