This research aims to determine the implementation of the village democratization system as a step towards democratic village governance. This research uses a qualitative approach through descriptive analysis methods based on literature studies obtained which are then used as analysis material. The results of this research show that village democratization is very important to implement. This is because the practices of authoritarianism and domination are still widely carried out by village elites. There are three steps that can be taken in order to create village democratization. These three steps are controlling the implementation of village democratic procedures and mechanisms, monitoring the level of democratic principles in the implementation of democratic mechanisms, and developing a democratic culture in daily village life and village activities. Apart from that, village democratization can be realized with a village government system that upholds democratic principles and prioritizes control and supervision by the community as the holder of the highest sovereignty. E-Government is an information technology system used by the government to help improve public services. One of the district/city governments that implements E-Government is the Batang district government. The Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) has an online licensing service, namely the SIPUAS licensing application (Business and Investment Licensing Service Information System). This article will discuss the implementation of E-government at the Batang Regency DPMPTSP through the SIPUAS application, which is an innovation in Electronic Government-based services with the aim of creating better service quality. The research method in this article uses a qualitative method using a literature study method. To see how the implementation of e-government in the SIPUAS application will use indicators (1) efficiency, (2) effectiveness, (3) transparency (Azkiya, 2018). The conclusion of the results of this study is that first, seen from the efficiency indicator of the use of the SIPUAS application, it can make it easier for the public because it can be accessed anywhere and can save costs and time. The menu on the SIPUAS application is also easy for the public to access. Second, seen from the effectiveness indicator of the implementation of the SIPUAS application by the Batang Regency DPMPTSP as explained above, this can make it easier for the public to apply for permits and avoid brokering. The results of the Public Satisfaction Survey on the services of the Batang Regency DPMPTSP in 2023 produced a Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) with a value of 90.93 (very good) (ptsp.batangkab.go.id, 2024). Third, seen from the transparency indicator. This SIPUAS application can be accessed openly and easily by the public. This study aims to analyze the village government's governance in waste management in Subah Village, Subah Sub-district, Batang Regency. The issue addressed in this research is the accumulation of waste at the final disposal site (TPA) in Dukuh Tarub, located on Jalan Gunung Sari. This accumulation causes road narrowing, traffic congestion, and pollution. The objective of the research is to understand the governance of the Subah Village Government in handling waste issues. The method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was conducted at the Subah Village Government Office, Subah Sub-district, Batang Regency. This study utilizes the theory of good village governance according to Rustam (2021), with research indicators including: 1. Responsiveness, 2. Participation, 3. Transparency, and 4. Accountability. The results show that waste management in Subah Village is delegated to the community, while the Village Government only provides facilities and supporting infrastructure for waste management. Based on these indicators, it can be concluded that the Village Government has responded to community complaints by providing solutions to existing problems. However, community participation is limited to providing suggestions to the Village Government, while waste management is entirely handed over to the community, with the Village Government only facilitating the location and construction of waste collection points in the village

Politik uang merupakan upaya menyuap pemilih dengan memberikan uang, jasa ataupun barang agar prefensi suara pemiih dapat diberikan kepada penyuap. Dengan mencegah adanya politik uang yang terjadi di masyarakat desa, Bawaslu kabupaten Batang membentuk Desa Anti Politik Uang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana keterlibatan tokoh masyarakat di Desa Kepuh Kecamatan Limpung Kabupaten Batang dalam mewujudkan Desa Anti Politik Uang pada Pilkades 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini data sekunder dan data primer. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Miles dan Huberman (1992) yaitu dengan Reduksi data, Penyajian Data dan Penarikan Kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, Tokoh masyarakat Desa Kepuh Kecamatan Limpung Kabupaten Batang dalam mewujudkan Desa Anti Politik U ang dengan memberikan edukasi, sosialisasi dan pemahaman politik tentang politik ang kepada masyarakat. Dalam menyampaikan pemahaman tersebut disampaikan pada kegiatan atau forum masyarakat baik dilingkungan RT maupun di Desa. Dengan adanya penolakan politik uang Pada Pilkades 2019 masyarakat Desa Kepuh merespon positif dan antusias. Masyarakat bisa menolak adanya politik uang pada Pilkades 2019 karena masyarakat sudah mengetahui pemimpin yang dibutuhkan saat itu, karena salah satu kandidat calon kepala desa pada saat itu sudah memimpin selama 2 periode. Maka, dengan kepemimpinannya yang amanah, bijaksana dan dapat dipercaya secara tidak langsung masyarakat bias menolak adanya politik uang pada Pilkades 2019
